“This delightful cottage was our first air BNB in the UK and only our second ever. Lawrence is a super host and now we understand why. Communications from start to finish were speedy and extremely helpful. On arrival we saw immediately that the photos and description did not lie. The cottage is immaculate, clean and stylish but also very comfortable. It is in a great location in Blakeney only a couple of minutes walk from the Quay but very quiet. Lawrence is very knowledgeable about the area and leaves his guests good tips for sightseeing and places to eat and shop . On arrival we found that we had been left a bottle of wine and some delicious biscuits as well as tea coffee milk etc together with a good supply of condiments and staples. There are books and games for guest use too as well as a wood burning stove. If you want to cook the kitchen is well supplied with pots pans utensils etc. We can confirm too that the cottage is cosy in winter weather. We plan to return and would definitely recommend both Lawrence and the cottage itself.”
Set in 1.4 acres with views across the valley, a short walk to the marshes and an even shorter walk to the pub. Kitchen, 1 bed with en suite a family bathroom. bbq outdoor(bring charcoal) sun loungers(x2), outdoor decking to enjoy the view from. The pub serves breakfast, lobster, mussels(if there’s an R in the month), as well as good pub food with a good selection of real ales. Washing machine, fire(wood available at stiffkey stores- a short walk), electric heating.
“It is a very nice and cozy cottage in a small village. The pub is next door (bring a touch if you are going for supper) which has very nice food. We enjoyed a long walk to the beach through the marsh from the cottage. The owner is very quick to reply all my questions. It's a great place to wonder around in Norfolk!”
Our delightful studio is situated next to Morston Hall in a very quiet position, just a short stroll to the Anchor pub and the Quay. It has been fully refurbished, and decorated in a fun nautical style.
“We loved this little bolt hole. Heather accepted our booking just a few hours before we needed to check in and the self check in meant we could arrive later in the evening. It’s small but perfectly formed, with everything you need for a stay. Heather had left milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, bread, eggs and home made jam and marmalade, as well as eco toiletries. The area is incredibly peaceful and ideally situated for walks along the coast and marshes, as well as the coats hopper bus. Just a few minutes walk is The Anchor pub, a lovely little place. Other pubs are also within walking distance ( a mile or so). You’ll need a torch at night for waking but there’s one available in the apartment. We loved our stay, super cosy and with everything you need for a great stay. We had a last minute change of plans from a guest house to this place and we’re so pleased we did.”
