Holiday rentals in Blaine County

For us, Geri's place was an experience stay. it is very remote in exceptionally beautiful country. We were in the area to visit a relative and enjoyed our stay. We did have a problem with the door lock in the evening which Geri promptly responded to and corrected. Overall our experience was good. The king size mattress was very comfortable, although it would benefit from some nicer bedding. For example, there was no mattress pad and one of the blankets was an old electric blanket (with no cord provided) which was scratchy/uncomfortable. We encountered a number of crickets and other bugs but this could be in part from the air conditioner units not being sealed around the edges. And it's a farm/rural area, so some bugs would be expected. I think groups of hunters might really enjoy this property. (We loved the remoteness and the cute kitty who hung around the house.) Julia is a fabulous host! She helped me out with a last minute reservation and I really appreciated that! I am traveling and working remotely so I like to stay for a few months at a time. Unfortunately this was not an ideal location for me to stay for that period of time. Although it’s very pretty and safe, there’s not much to do and the nearest Wal Mart or any type of large shopping is 65 miles away. Yes there are some local grocery stores which are about 20 min and one down the street for last minute items. It’s great for a vacation spot if you are 4 wheeling since the national park is right down the road. The cabin was small but had everything I needed. There is no sofa just a recliner and a lounge chair. It could use a little refresh. The coal trains are directly across the street and run 24/7-plus it’s right off the main highway. That made work a little difficult being on the phone. WIFI is great along with cell service. Nice size garage also! Thank you again Julia!
