It was a great place to stay for a night. The bbq and outdoor sink and seating area worked well since there is no kitchen in the room. Very comfortable beds and hot shower. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants.

Very quiet peaceful location that has everything you will need. The setting is convenient to both the local village, the national park, and the railway station. Christine, the host, is friendly and helpful and has made her studio very comfortable and nice.

The place was clean, cosy, and exactly as described. Peaceful setting and not too far from Katoomba, perfect for a quiet getaway. Communication with the host was smooth, and check-in was easy. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the area.

Gary's home provides a peaceful and private place to relax. The bedroom has a lovely view looking out towards the city and the kitchen is well equipped. The location in Mount Riverview serves as a perfect base camp to head farther into the mountains while still being close enough to options for food and shopping in Penrith.

We had a lovely stay at Barbara's place. It was easily accessible by car, not far from great restaurants and cafes in the area and from the main attractions. Barbara was very kind and helpful and we felt very welcomed. We had an electric heater in the room which was great, we were very warm in the night 🌙 A definite recommendation for Katoomba!

Rosie’s cottage was absolutely beautiful. You can tell she has thought about all details for her guests - down to the bathrobes, electric blankets and even a delicious breakfast! It was the perfect short stay for us after attending a wedding nearby. Rosie was so prompt with her communication and went above and beyond to accomodate for us. Thanks Rosie! 🩷

Gorgeous airbnb in an amazing location! We loved everything about it and the little details. The net was a cool place to chill, and the fire place was a nice touch (though it didn't seem that efficient in heating up the space). Thanks Tracey!

Beautiful place. Train is a bit noisy. The place itself is super peaceful. Sadly no oven. No exhaust so had to open window and door when cooking which is not ideal in the evening. Bedding is super comfy. Would be nice if the sink in the bathroom is a bit bigger. The host let us in a bit earlier in the rainy day. Really appreciated. Would recommend!

Had a lovely time staying at the Lily Pad. It was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of extra bits (blankets, cookware, tableware etc) to ensure there was nothing extra we needed whilst we were there. Sue was very helpful and kind, providing us with excellent suggestions for all sorts of places and activities to check out during our stay. Would highly recommend!

This is one of the nicer apartments I’ve stayed in across Australia — clean, cosy, and well set up for a relaxing stay. It’s perfect for two people, with excellent heating (both aircon and heated bed) and full-length windows that let you stargaze from the warmth of the apartment — no need to step outside onto the deck unless you want to! The space was so peaceful that we had sightings of cockatoos and parrots nearby. It’s also just a short walk to Katoomba Street where cafés and restaurants are located — though we’d recommend bringing a torch if you’re heading back after dark, as the area can be quite dimly lit. Paul was friendly and communicative throughout, and we appreciated thoughtful touches like fresh milk, tea, and toiletries. We’d absolutely return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to others visiting the Blue Mountains.

Me and my partner had such a relaxing trip in Wentworth Falls! The unit is in a peaceful and tucked away location by the lake with lovely natural light and views. It was a very warm and cozy escape from the cold outside. Sky was a great host and went above and beyond providing delicious snacks and breakfast! Within easy driving distance to Leura and Katoomba for restaurants, shopping and bush walks. 10/10 would recommend!

We loved our stay at Anya’s apartment. The big draw for us was the beautiful garden & all the birds. We had cockatoos, a kookaburra & parrots (lorikeets?) landing on our verandah when we were sitting out there having breakfast. We could have sat there all day! There’s a little creek at the bottom of the garden which also has a lot of birds visiting. The apartment is well located for the Blue Mountains - about 15 minutes drive to Leura & Katoomba. Anya is a friendly & helpful host.

We loved our stay at Victor’s place, and felt very comfortable there. With two spacious bedrooms with ensuites, it was the perfect space for two couples. It was well located to both Leura and Katoomba making it a great base for a weekend in the Blue Mountains.

Mark was a terrific host! The AirBNB was well appointed, the bathroom was fantastic (loved the shower and the heat lamps, and the complementary soap/shampoo), and the kitchen was well-equipped and came with basic amenities (tea, coffee, honey). The only downside was the slightly awkward layout, which required passing through a bedroom upon entry, and with a partially detached kitchen. Otherwise, a great place to stay.

Christine met when I arrived and was cheerful and friendly. She was very helpful when I lost my key (which I found again)

The accommodation is very spacious and perfectly clean. It had all the necessities I needed, and Phil was very proactive in letting me know about any additional heaters I might need as things started to get cooler in the Blue Mountains around May. It's a very peaceful area which backs onto the forest and is near walking tracks. You could walk up to the shops, but it may take 15-20 minutes. I'd recommend the place if you were looking for a very quiet and relaxing retreat.

Great! This is the landlord's own house. The landlord is wealthy. Everything in the house is exquisite and high-end, with complete facilities, just like home, convenient and comfortable. Quiet, warm, clean and tidy. The landlord enthusiastically recommended me to use the spa in the yard, which relieved my fatigue from the journey. I lingered here. I feel that the photos and descriptions on Airbnb do not reflect the true value of the house. The house is worth the money, highly recommended!

Mary's place was a great base while we visited family and friends in the area. We enjoyed the quiet leafy location, in walking distance to the village shops and cafes. The bed was super comfy and we appreciated the electric blanket as it starts to get cold at night. We would recommend a stay at Mary's place, and hope to be back when we are in the area!
