A wonderful and quiet place, like most of the Basque Country. We spent a very pleasant weekend. The apartment is very comfortable and clean. The hostess was very attentive and communicated well from the beginning.

The apartment is fully equipped. Everything you need is here. It's very clean. You look out over the harbor and mountains of Santurtzi, which is very nice. You can easily get to Bilbao by metro. We rented a car at the airport and explored the beautiful Basque Country. So green, beautiful landscape and wonderful beaches. The best place to park the car is downstairs in the Santurtzi parking garage. That costs €6 per 24 hours. Then go to the Santurtzi metro, take the Mamiga exit, then walk to the funicular that takes you up. That saves a huge walk to the apartment. In short, we enjoyed it! Thank you Beatriz.

We enjoyed our stay at Ana and Xavier’s place. The apartment is nicely refurbished and convenient to everything in town. We wish we could have had another day in Bermeo. It’s a very cute town!

A charming house in a beautiful neighborhood

Space was spotless, views were incredible, beaches walkable. Gorka was incredibly responsive and Igor made checking in a breeze. We picked up fresh fish and steak from the market in Bilbao and really enjoyed the charcoal grill. We loved watching the tides roll in and out of the estuary from the deck. The view changes by the hour!

For anyone going with dog(s). Two long walkable paths along the river for your dog(s) just across national road (50-100) from the house itself. Izaskun is animal lover, and she is super tolerant in that sense. The yard in front of the house has wall so if your dog is not cangaroo you are good. Everything about the place is more that good, not to write more superlatives than all 5 star notes I left to Izaskun. Nice weekend - we will probably repeat.

Mikel was very responsive and met us outside to drive with us into the car parking and to show us around the property.The apartment is as listed and is a short bus or subway drive to the center of Bilbao. Would highly recommended this property.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is amazing—just a short walk to a scenic beach that’s perfect for relaxing. Convenient parking on the property made everything easy, and having a restaurant and market nearby was a big plus. Don’t miss watching the sunset on the beach—it’s absolutely breathtaking. Amazing apartment in a wonderful location. A walkable distance to the beach and some amazing places to eat and drink nearby. Jesus and his wife were amazing hosts too & went above and beyond to help with our needs. This included helping me after spraining my ankle by arranging a friend to pick me up to take me to local medical centre & getting myself fixed up so I could attend the football final we had flown over for. I would highly recommend the apartment and I’ll definitely would be making a return visit one day.

Alejandro was a great host and the apartment was fabulous. Spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable and well appointed, it is excellent value for money. The views from the balcony are amazing and the general location is beautiful.

Great location in old town. The apartment is very spacious and had all amenities. Everything you need is a walk away. Highly recommend. Check in was a little complicated. I would recommend using Apple Maps to go to the actual address provided. Something about using google maps did not work. As long as host provides pictures it’s easy to find.

Excellent apartment in a very nice place only five minutes drive from Laredo center. The host is very friendly and ready to help at any time. She also speaks English which makes communication a little easier. There is a lot of space for 4 adults to enjoy their staying for enough days. The two bathrooms really help. The place is cosy and super clean. I definitely recommend it!

Hosts were extremely helpful. You get the ground floor & basement of their large family home to yourselves. Plenty of room. Cake & wine on arrival. Perfect base to see the Basque region & watch your team win the Europa League! Eskerrik asko!

Accommodation as described in the listing, hostess pending and giving clear instructions for both arrival and departure. It is an urbanization on the outskirts of Castro Urdiales, with the car you arrive in 5 minutes to the beach. There is an Eroski across the street. To put a pega, the parking is a little fair for big cars, we had to choose to leave it outside.
