Holiday rentals with a pool in Biscay

The house is in a beautiful location overlooking a verdant valley and is a short drive to Plentzia. There is a great beach there and a decent Eroski supermarket. Fernanda was a responsive and helpful host who made really helpful recommendations and the house was super comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bedrooms were comfortable and clean with huge amounts of storage. The pool is gorgeous. It’s described as a salt water pool but wasn’t salty at all. We had a great week between hotel stays in Bilbao and San Sebastián.

12 of us stayed with Mari Luz and had a great time. Everyone was comfortable and felt at home for the 4 nights we were there. At first I was worried that we might disturb Mari Luz but we didn't receive any complaints despite 1 or 2 late nights drinking around the dinner table. Also I'm extremely glad we stayed in Castro Urdiales instead of Bilbao since Castro was a much more relaxing and hospitable place and Bilbao was only a 30 min bus away anyway.

We hebben heel hard genoten van ons verblijf bij Iciar, dit omwille van de rust, natuur en dieren en het leuke huis. Iciar is een zeer warme vrouw, gaf ons een heel welkom gevoel en was steeds bereikbaar voor tips en weetjes. Het huis/omgeving komt volledig overeen met de foto's/beschrijving. Bovendien is er op max 1u rijden een verscheidenheid aan dingen te bezoeken/zien. Grote aanrader dus!

Logement très joli, propre et spacieux dans un coin très paisible de la Biscaye, à 20 minutes de Bilbao et de l’océan. Très bonne communication et accueil avec Aitziber et Inaki. De l’espace pour se garer juste à proximité du logement. Terrain clos et bien gardé ! Une adresse à retenir pour une prochaine escapade dans cette charmante région.

Amaia’s place was fantastic, I stayed there for 10 days and I enjoyed it very much. I came with my dog and I love that the garden is closed and that he could be free there. She also took care of him and treated my dog as if he was hers :) The apartment is super comfortable, very well equipped, and super cleaned. I arrived on a Sunday and Amaia provided me with some eggs and bread so I didn’t have to go out after a long day of driving. I will definitely come back, my time there was lovely.

Absolument tout était superbe, la maison, les équipements y compris à l'extérieur, la propreté. Eduardo et sa femme extrêmement accueillant et peu avares de recommandations dans la région. Merci à eux, je recommande cette location sans hésiter.

Fuimos 12 amigos y estuvimos muy a gusto en la casa. Fernando y Nerea fueron encantadores y muy atentos con nosotros. La casa tiene muy buenas instalaciones, además de estar rodeada de naturaleza. La ubicación es muy buena, ya que nos permitió visitar fácilmente Bilbao, Donostia y la zona de costa entre Zumaia y Guetaria. Totalmente recomendable!

Jabi is an amazing host! The apartment was clean, spacious and the perfect size for family of 5! He left us a basket of fruit and stocked the kitchen with essentials- milk, juice, coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper! He even left us potatoes so I was able to make tortilla de patatas! Communication with Jabi was excellent and was quick to respond to our texts. There were a few restaurants nearby and the beach is less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back.

Vue imprenable sur l'océan. Beau sunrise le matin. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Le logement était propre et conforme à la description. Très bien situé, dans un quartier calme et très agréable. Susana a été très accueillante et réactive, avec de très bons conseils pour profiter au mieux la ville & environs ! Nous recommandons sans hésiter et reviendrons avec plaisir si l’occasion se présente. Encore merci pour l’accueil !

Lovely apartment in the town of Algorta, lots of cafes, restaurants and shops on the doorstep. The beach was a 10 minute walk or you could use a very conveniently located lift to get to beach level without the steep descent/climb!

The absolute best view with private patio in a charming town. My friend and I stayed here for a week. We walked along the board walk, got churros by the marina, and had charcuterie on the balcony as the sunset. The sound of the ocean was the background to our long talks. Below there are bars, Kebabs, sushi, cafes, sweets and more. It about a 5 minute walk to the BM grocery store. The kitchen was small, but more than adequate for two friends. The three bedrooms and two baths had a nice layout. There is a dining table for 4 which we used to play cards, which we found in a drawer. You cannot beat the view. The view is everything. The town is charming and walkable. We loved it.

La casa está cerca de la playa y del centro, también hay varios supermercados en la zona. La casa tiene todo lo necesario, es amplia y el acceso para llegar está bien. La piscina comunitaria está bien, fuimos varias veces y estuvimos a gusto. La comunicación con la anfitriona ha sido fluida. Recomendable para pasar unos días en Castro y conocer el pueblo que es muy bonito.

Thank you for sharing your cosy chalet. We loved our stay and hope to return one day. The pool was great and we loved our local walks. Our bikes were securely parked which was reassuring. And we really appreciated the use of laundry facilities. We even loved the company of our new dog friend.

Nahi is a great hostess! She accomodated my late arrival and was kind to bring some stuff for my cat. The apartment is spacious and neat, contains all necessary things to make you feel like home. The area is quite and cozy with some local shops and bars nearby. Highly recommend if you want to stay outside of busy city centre, and do not mind exploring Bilbao's surroundings.
