Stay in the old village schoolhouse

Our historic school building with wonderfully high ceilings and its thick sandstone walls offers plenty of space (about 130 square meters) for up to four people. It was lovingly ecologically renovated by us until 2013. Downstairs there is a large kitchen-living room, upstairs a cozy small bedroom and a large studio, which can also be used by artistically ambitious guests. From Gräfenhausen you can go directly to the Palatinate Forest by mountain bike or on foot. The nearest climbing rock is also a 20-minute walk. In the village there is a small restaurant with a village shop and a bakery (both directly opposite the house).

Our vacation home in Burrweiler is located on the edge of the Palatinate Forest on the Southern Wine Route in the middle of the chestnut forest on the Teufelsberg, at an altitude of 355 m, below the St. Anna Chapel. On the 1250 sqm fenced forest property there is a lookout with a distant view of the Rhine valley, a patio made of old oak trunks and a picnic bench. On this portal, we also offer our new "forest house with a dream view" for rent, also located in Burrweiler am Teufelsberg.

I felt very comfortable and was personally welcomed by the hosts Manu and Stefan (and one of the two sweet dogs). You have everything you need there, the view is a dream and the room is furnished in high quality. Even I, as a non-technical genius, got along super well with all the technical details :) I recommend a sleep mask for those who don't want to be woken up by the sun in the summer and want to sleep in, but for me that was the best thing :) In advance, you got great tips for restaurants and also on request an address for renting ebikes. I felt very comfortable and can only recommend it :)

We had a very nice few days in the Palatinate. The cozy place was as shown in the pictures. The reception at Gabi's was great. She was able to give us some tips for things to do. We didn't cook ourselves (although nothing was missing), as we preferred to be pampered at Gabi's restaurant. The stay is definitely recommended.

The stay was really very nice. Everything in the apartment was clean and tidy and nothing was missing. Despite very warm temperatures, the studio did not heat up too much during the day with the shutters closed, so you could sleep well at night. I would recommend it! 👍🏻
