Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Birdham

The place itself was very easy to find and access. It was clean inside and out, and had everything we needed. The resort has lots of amenities and you are also within walking/driving distance of many more. We found it perfectly positioned to explore the whole island. Checkout was just as simple as checking in. We only booked 1 night because we wanted to see if our Labrador would settle outside of his crate in a strange place, so the only downside to the stay was that we didn't book to stay longer. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Andy & Rosie's thanks to the great location and beautiful surroundings. We used it as a base for Goodwood, which was a short drive away. The local golf club being so close was also a bonus. The accommodation itself was well furnished and spacious and check in was made simple with the clear instructions and Andy's welcoming greeting on arrival.

Mary is a first class host. She is friendly and efficient with her communication. Her house is beautiful and ideal for a break for two. The house is spotlessly clean, very well-equipped and very homely. The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac and is extremely quiet - we could even hear the owls hooting at night! It has a lovely sunny garden and dedicated parking. Highly recommended.

Thi house is comfortable cosy every you need, lovely snacks, Tea coffee milk cereal. The beds are unbelievably comfortable, gorgeous top quality bedding. This house is stunning. Thi aloud us an early check-in and also was very kind when I asked to leave a few hours later the morning we was leaving, she responded yes very quickly, thank you Thi. West Wittering beach is only 20 minutes which we sent the day on. Amazing Airbnb, can't wait to come back.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at Beach Lodge. It was the perfect base for myself, my husband, our two young children and our dog to stay for a couple of days whilst enjoying the delights of West Wittering Beach and the surrounding area. The lodge is connected to the main house, where the owners live, but it felt very private as it has its own front door and a back gate which meant we could come and go as we pleased. It is located literally just a few minutes walk to the beach - so very convenient! The lodge also has its own private, enclosed garden which was perfect for the kids and the dog. Communication with Michelle and Jack was faultless. Ahead of our stay, Michelle sent recommendations of local places for dinners/lunches which were so helpful and we ate at a few and all were delicious. Thanks Michelle! Overall, we found Beach Lodge to be peaceful, comfortable and the perfect place for a short weekend away from London. We certainly hope to return again soon!

Had a lovely stay at the Lodge. It was very clean and comfortable. Commuication from the owner was excellent. It is in a very peaceful location and has 2 pubs within walking distance. It is also within a short driving distance of so many varied places to visit or walk. We went to Bosham, Wealdon Downland museum, Fishbourne Roman palace, and the nature reserve at Kingley Vale and will be back again to do more. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

Accomadation does not have a kitchen, however, does have plentiful supply of tea, coffee hot chocolate etc etc. Fridge also available with fresh milk on arrival. easy walk into town for shops and restaurants. Highly recommend...

A wonderful cottage with beautiful sea / creek views well provided for with everything we needed warm and comfortable, very easy to get everywhere, Lindy was very helpful with our stay, would certainly stay again. This was first time l have used Airbnb and will use them again

Wendy was away for our stay but Glen and their son Luke were very helpful and attentive. The flat although small was immaculate, spotlessly clean and well equipped - perfect for our short stay visiting family nearby.

Lovely apartment with excellent facilities. Very close to 700 bus, so getting to Chichester and Bognor Regis was really easy.

Good value for amount paid. Once we figured out how to use the electrical appliances (turning on/off power with each use and pulling on cord to activate the shower) - {HaHa} everything was fine.

What an amazing apartment. Great location right on the beach, with fantastic views of the sea from the windows. Choice of seating areas with tables, open balcony and enclosed window area. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Easy to get to the ‘Witterings’ Chichester Marina etc. We all wished we could have stayed longer. Sam was a great person to liaise with before we arrived, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Sam.

Lovely apartment with everything we needed. Good size bedrooms and the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils etc. Two minute walk through the shared garden to the stone beach so super easy to pop down. East Wittering itself had lovely cafes and bakeries plus an amazing cheese shop. Karen was helpful and very responsive. I'd have no hesitation in staying again.

Wonderful place to base yourself near Chichester. It was cosy but felt spacious for our family of 4. The terrace overlooking the fields made for great mealtimes and an area to relax. Plenty of great places to visit nearby. We particularly enjoyed Bosham (Anchor Bleu for lunch was a standout!), Petworth, Arundel and West Witerring for a blowy beach walk! 5 stars!

Finn’s place had everything I needed for my stay, including an amazing view to watch the changing tides and people with their dogs enjoying the beach and the sea. Unfortunately it was still too cold for me to consider swimming. I would love to stay at Finn’s again next time I come to Bognor Regis.

We agreed with all the previous reviews, and would like to add, Elmer is a great place to visit, and the proximity to the beach is fabulous. Robs information was second to none!! The walks were breath taking. Our special visit was Arundel, the castle, gardens, and town were amazing. Ok, now for our one grump, the fridge is a bit small!!! i know, ridiculous but we didn't know whether to put the wine or the milk in the door, so had to drink the wine, and put the milk in the fridge....sorted. By the way, the welcome basket was very much appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cloud 9. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. It’s very close to the main village and Allison was easy to communicate with and checked in on us to see if everything was okay. Thank you for a lovely stay and we will definitely love to come back!

The description of “harbour view / sea view” is a little misleading as the apartment isn’t high enough to offer that and instead looks over the bus/ train station and shopping centre . However , we’d worked that out from the pictures ! That said the location couldn’t be more central . It’s literally across the road to a fantastic shopping centre and the harbour . For the views of the yacht race we booked tickets for the spinnaker tower. The host was extremely helpful and responsive and I would recommend this accommodation and would love to stay there again.

Great location with the bonus of parking on site. Easy to find & quiet surroundings. A great base for exploring Bognor, easy walking distance to prom & the town.

Really nice appartment. Lokation was perfect, and all though the appartment is right in the city center, it was very quiet.
