Matthew was an awesome host! Super responsive and helpful. The place is right at the beach and was really new and clean. The building itself looks quite old - don’t let it fool you, the inside is nice! The only thing I would want to say is that we thought we had a private balcony (looking at the pictures). But it was just part of the outside hallway/staircase with no privacy. But it’s a nice little spot to look at the ocean regardless! :)

This Airbnb was incredibly nice! I came down to celebrate my 21st with my friends and have a nice relaxing time. The view of the beach was breathtaking and loved sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise. There was lots to do, with Cole’s and Woolworths a few minutes down the road, and only a 25 minute drive to Surfers Paradise. Even though it was located near the Gold Coast airport, you could not hear anything at all. It was peaceful and the house was well looked after. Would 100% recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with family or friends and want the beach close by. Thank you again!

We enjoyed our three days at Tugun Tides and appreciated Acacia greeting us and showing us in. She even offered a secure space in the garage to store our bicycles. Unlike a lot of the Gold Coast, street parking for cars is free and unlimited right outside. The apartment is light and airy with a view to die for. The bedroom gets some light from the street so bring eye masks if that disturbs your sleep. Very comfy bed and pillows. Bit of a hike to a cafe or restaurant, but there is an excellent espresso machine in the apartment. My husband says thanks for the beers in the fridge!
