Amazing little cabin! Had everything we needed, nice and secluded. Had a lovely time just hanging out in nature. If you ever need a peaceful time outside the city, I highly recommend.

Great place for us! We were up to fish hecla and it was perfect. Ample room for boats, accessible plug ins to charge them up. We grilled every night ok the deck! Great place and hosts!

This was the third time we have been to the cottage. We keep coming as we really enjoy our visits. The lake view is great and cottage provides us with everything we need to get away from the city and relax.

The Hobbit house is a cute little place to stay at if you want to explore the Hecla Island are. This place is very clean and provides everything you need for your stay. The hottub and BBQ make for a nice addition. The host responds quickly and is very helpful. Overall I recommend this place.

We were thankful for a couple of days away from home. This is a cozy, quiet getaway to just unwind. Our host was very great. We appreciated the hammock and the axe throwing. This is the perfect location for exploring both Gimli and Hecla.

The mini home was very clean and cozy, the farm setting and animals were fun and enjoyable. The fresh garden was nice to see and use. Fresh farm eggs and wild flowers when we arrived. Very welcoming and a beautiful stay

We had an absolutely wonderful experience during our recent two-night getaway! The property was stunning and matched the pictures perfectly—everything we hoped for and more. The hot tub was a highlight, providing the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty around us. Even though there are neighbors nearby, it felt like we were tucked away in a serene retreat in the bush, which added to the charm of our stay. Communication with our host was excellent; they were responsive and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Checkout was a breeze, making our departure just as enjoyable as our arrival. We truly enjoyed every moment and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. Its always fun , relaxing and peaceful to be back in Sarah and Russ cottage. Beautiful scenery, clean and complete cottage. We had a wonderful time.

If you are looking for a quiet get a way, this is your place!! Alvina and Tim made sure we felt comfortable and welcome during our stay and the Bunkie was so beautiful and cozy. They have everything you need here, including some small activities for you to keep busy with in the yard. Absolutely loved it!!
