Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Betanzos

Wow - simply incredible. The pictures are accurate but still don’t relay the incredible position of the house. We stayed a week at the house and had both sunny and rainy weather. The house is perfect for both. What is only clear in hindsight is that the property is enormous and on its own cape. And it effectively has its own spectacular beach. It’s like having a lake house, ocean house and mountain house all in one. The house itself is in great condition and some of the built in closets, etc, are somewhat retro. After staying in 200+ Airbnbs, it’s great to stay somewhere with character and not just another IKEA furnished flat. Communication was perfect and everything we needed was readily available. The price was more than fair - this is a top 1% home.

An amazing house in an amazing place. Modern, clean, quiet and superbly equipped. Surrounded by terraced vines with world class views of the Ribeira Sacra and the Rio Miño. We loved our short stay here. It was tranquil but we also had one amazing lightning storm to experience. You can just sit and relax or use it as a base to explore. Best to get all your supplies before you get there as there is nothing in Belesar. Or you can pop into Chantada like we did. Great communication with Jose as well. A great stay

Absolutely loved staying in Casa's house. It felt like a real home and was generously equipped with everything you needed. The views are spectacular and the house is really spacious. We found the village to be very friendly snd the little shop met most of our needs. The bar in the port is outstanding and the sea is crystal clear. Would definitely stay there again

Es la segunda vez que venimos y seguro que no será la última. La casa es perfecta para descansar: rodeada de naturaleza, con un jardín estupendo y muy bien cuidado, y a pocos pasos de una playa preciosa y tranquila. Tiene todas las comodidades para sentirse como en casa, y además admiten perro, lo cual agradecemos muchísimo. Los anfitriones están siempre pendientes y hacen que todo sea fácil. Un lugar al que siempre apetece volver.

Ocean, twinkling lights in the distance from a nearby town and cracking wood in the fireplace - so lovely! Juan is a good host, sharing some tips about the nice places. The possibility of having a barbacoa is a plus - it is worth buying meat in the carniceria in the city close by. Thanks a lot!

It was a perfect stay and perfect house which we rented for a month. We enjoyed our stay. Very pleasant and peaceful time in the María’s house. There are a lot of things and places to visit in the region and also there is a good places for walk in Miño and some great restaurants. There is as well the perfect terrace with great views where we spent a lot of time each day. Also, want to admit María’s attendance and eagerness to help in all kind of situations. And the house as well has a unique and charming atmosphere. Recommending this house a lot and would be happy to stay here again!

Spontan haben wir auf der Durchreise Esthers Häuschen entdeckt. Wir haben 6 Tage in der wundervollen Unterkunft verbracht. Gerne wären wir noch länger geblieben, wenn es nicht schon ausgebucht gewesen wäre. Das Haus und der Garten übertrafen unsere Vorstellungen, wir konnten richtig abschalten. Esther haben wir sofort in unser Herz geschlossen. Ein weiteres Highlight waren die Katzen und Hühner und die vielen Surfspots in der Umgebung. Ich würde immer wieder kommen <3

Insanely amazing!! The Surf Lodge was so perfect for us, the decor absolutely on the mark, beachy, cozy and clean, everything we needed was there and more, a great vibe! The view and surroundings were so private, and once down to the beach, we felt like it was our own! Just behind the house is a walking trail along the cliffs that is not to miss! Jaw dropping views of the ocean and the natural environment is unforgettable. We went as far as "The Most Beautiful Bench" it was worth every step!!! Once you are there you will understand the title! As for restaurants and cute harbor villages, incredible as well, as per Victors great advice, we picked a very low key local spot on the water, delicious food, friendly hosts and incredible views. I dont know if it is just because we were there in late May, but to our amazement there were no tourists, no crowds.... like we had the world to ourselves-a dream come true!! We will always cherish this time, and will be back for a much longer stay !!!!

Espaço impecável e com ótima privacidade. Anfitrião (o José António) bastante prestável, preocupado e atencioso. A casa encontrava-se em bom estado de limpeza, com os utensílios de cozinha necessários, a casa de banho higienizada. O espaço exterior era bastante agradável. As redondezas são de uma natureza interessante e o acesso à povoação mais próxima é fácil e podemos encontrar o essencial de alimentação para o dia-a-dia. Dentro das possibilidade e do tempo é para repetir.

Los caseros muy agradables y entregados. Las vistas del apartamento eran inmejorables. El acceso a la playa era exclusivo para los huéspedes del apartamento. Nosotras fuimos en agosto y no había apenas gente, por lo que la playa prácticamente era nuestra. Hay rutas alrededor muy agradables para hacer con las mascotas. En el propio pueblo hay supermercado, una panadería muy buena y restaurantes para comer y cenar muy ricos y asequibles. Nos hemos quedado más que satisfechas con nuestra estancia, sin duda repetiremos.

This is a very friendly and heart warming family. Alejandra gave us mushrooms she found in the woods, very tasteful. The house is beautiful and well equipped.

Ruben’s place is in a perfect location, great for walking around ferrol! The place is in amazing condition, and was super comfortable for all of us. Really great communication throughout the whole process- we definitely will be coming back!!

Carlota fue una anfitrona de 10. Según llegamos nos explicó parte de hostoria de A coruña, nos recomendó hacer visitas y restaurantes locales dónde podíamos comer muy rico. Además, nos dejó estar el último día sin prisa, esto nos vino genial la verdad. Siempre estuvo atenta y contesta muy rápido cuando la escribes. Sin duda volvería a repetir

Una casa preciosa,súper grande equipada con todo,unas vistas impresionantes,no le falta detalle para sentirte como en casa.Maria José encantadora,nos dejo un bollo típico de alli de bienvenida y unos huevos de granja,un detallazo.todo super limpio,otro detalle que la mujer sabiéndo que iba a hacer frio nos puso unas sábanas polares que las agradecimos mucho jeje.llevamos un bebe de 1 año y nos facilitó una cuna, otro puntazo. se preocupó de si llegamos bien de vuelta,encantadora.solo esperamos volver a verla pronto,ya tenemos sitio fijo para hospedarnos siempre que volvamos a Coruña.!!

Belle maison pleine de charme et bien grande pour un groupe de 6-8 personnes. La région est magnifique et le jardin est superbe avec piscine. Nous avons adoré notre séjour! Miriam notre hôte était très sympathique et réactive. Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésiter!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit mit 9 Personen in der Villa in Valdoviño! Das Obergeschoss ist wunderschön gestaltet, und der Ausblick aus dem Wohnzimmer sowie von der Terrasse war jeden Tag aufs Neue einfach atemberaubend – man konnte sich kaum sattsehen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war unkompliziert und freundlich, der Check-In verlief völlig reibungslos. Außerdem war alles vorhanden, was wir gebraucht haben – wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Sehr empfehlenswert!

La casa como en las fotos, además limpia, confortable, habitaciones grandes, y con todo lo indispensable. Éramos con niños 9 personas y estuvimos muy a gusto, muchas gracias.

We absolutely loved the stay at Manuel and the family’s place. They welcomed our arrival at midnight, and we somehow managed with our language differences. It is a beautiful and expansive home and wonderful historical estate, blended into nature, with lots of care and attention by the owners, going back generations. If you need air conditioning and superfast WiFi throughout (well our kids wanted the latter - the WiFi worked well for a 40 min video call I had) then you will miss these things. But if you want to stay in a well cared for and otherwise modern large house, deeply connected to the landscape and the culture of Galicia, and in such close proximity to the white beaches, the fishing culture (incl. goose barnacles!), an hour from Santiago, and the pleasure of a modest pool, beautiful river, and lovely hosts, then you will be in for a treat. We are planning to return! Don’t forget to try Galician coffee liquor if you never did before!

Had a wonderful stay at Maribel lovely home, super modern and so well equipped you wanted for nothing. Maribel and her husband were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Can highly recommend for a quiet and very relaxing break.

We had a fantastic time staying in the old mill. Its extremely private, set in lovely woodland surroundings and was a great place for the kids to explore and parents to relax. Claudias recommendations were most welcome and we spent several days at the nearby beaches and exploring Galicias coastline. The house has everything you could need and more. We are already planning a return trip.

Hemos pasado una Semana Santa muy divertida en la Ribeira Sacra. Aunque el tiempo no acompañó y tuvimos bastantes días de lluvia, la casa fue perfecta para disfrutar igualmente: cómoda, acogedora y muy bien equipada. Mención especial a Ana, la persona encargada del cuidado de la casa, que nos atendió con muchísima amabilidad y estuvo pendiente de nosotros en todo momento. ¡Gracias a Isabel y Ana por hacerlo tan fácil! ♥️ Sin duda, un alojamiento muy recomendable.
