Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bestwig

We were 3 couples, 2 toddlers. The size of the house was great. Each had their own bathroom and retreat. The pool table, the hot tub and the outdoor sauna were great. A baby bed and a high chair were provided on request. We didn't lack anything. Next to the house is a large meadow and directly behind it a small playground. Perfect for the kids. The town of Cobbenrode is not large. In Eslohe, 7 km away, there are restaurants, shopping and also gastronomy with delivery service to Cobbenrode. Nearby, there are June and September Karl-May-Festspiele, unfortunately we were too early for that. For a long weekend with friends, to relax or to hike, the stay is definitely worth it. Spending time together and relaxing was important to us and that's exactly what we were able to enjoy in this great accommodation. Anna was always quick to respond to questions and was able to help remotely. Thank you very much.

We stayed at Anita's place for the second time. Like two years ago, it was very clean. The space complies with the descriptions. The sauna works great and warms up relatively quickly. The area is also great, there are a lot of nice activities. We missed the no longer existing hot tub (which was clearly not included in photos or description), but otherwise everything was great. On the spur of the moment, the three of us spent 2 days in Manfred's beautifully located house, quiet with a wonderful view. From there, we could make wonderful excursions into the surrounding area. We immediately felt very comfortable, the house and property are clean and lovingly maintained. Bathroom very small with shower. Bedroom small and friendly, kitchen offers everything you need (hot water takes a long time..) A kind of winter garden invites you to linger in the evening. Absolutely recommended for people with a love of nature in a beautiful retreat.

The accommodation was completely clean upon arrival and the beds neatly made. Almost everything speaks for itself. The center is within walking distance and if you walk down the driveway you have a view of Winterberg. Olaf was very friendly and offered us a place to store the mountain bikes. All in all, it was great!

Great location, surrounded by nature, nice house,cozy but everything present, fenced terrace , ideal for our dog and view of a beautiful garden, so much to see in the area and endless walks to make , really recommended

A trip with 3 adults and 2 children. Plenty of space, so many loving details. An incredibly beautiful garden. All as described. Whether for grandma and grandpa or the children... everything was there and really lovingly designed. Open the door and feel good! What a beautiful place Christine and Tom have, in the middle of the old town! The house is very cozy & well equipped and both Arnsberg and the surrounding area are beautiful. In addition, the contact with the hosts was very nice. Absolutely recommended!

We used the accommodation for an extended weekend in the Green Hill bike park. Super nice host, Top holiday apartment, located directly at the bike park. Bicycles could be stored. Will definitely check in there again 👍🏻

We stayed for three nights with our children (2 and 4) and had a wonderful relaxing time. The house has a beautiful view on landly sceneries and is surrounded by woods, the children had fun playing in the garden. Several beautiful spots to visit closeby in Sauerland, lakes, walking, picnics etc. Heidrun and Udo were really lovely! All in all, 100 % recommended :-)!

Beautiful place at a beautiful location. We went with a baby and they had all we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden is amazing for babies to play. We will come back again for sure :)

A super cozy, super clean apartment with plenty of space and optimally thought out. We stayed here only one night. But it really inspired the three of us. On site, I booked again for September that same night. Thank you.

I have already told Maria personally. Overall, we were very satisfied. Marie herself was always quick to reach. The location was great, the premises spacious, the sauna of course a real highlight. From our subjective point of view, the environment (main road) could be disturbing for noise-sensitive people.

We felt very comfortable in Dagmar's apartment. The reception was directly friendly and the first time there were discovered numerous things that were left there only for us, as a family with 2 infants. That was incredibly sweet! Thank you very much also for the cute Easter basket! Simply warm and highly recommended all around! We will be happy to come back :)

Christiane is very welcoming. The place is quiet and peaceful as described. Everything was very good. The only concern we encountered is that there is not really a bike room, even though it is in the description. There was just a small outdoor shed with no lock and no attachment point. But we had two valuable bikes... But Christiane was very accommodating and let us use a storage room for one of the two bikes (too small to put both). We left the 2nd in the car. Otherwise, no worries. In short, we highly recommend the accommodation but perhaps not to cyclists who come with their bikes. 😉

A spacious and very well-equipped apartment with a great view of the Biggesee. The very beautiful surroundings invite you to various outdoor activities, and new views of the lake and the landscape can always be discovered. Stephanie was very friendly and helpful in her communication. An absolute recommendation for a little break!

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. Check-in worked very easily directly with Oli as the host. The apartment is very nice, absolutely clean and corresponds to the pictures. It is quietly located in the countryside in Altenkleusheim without traffic noise and the like. On the small terrace you can relax and enjoy a coffee, tea or wine with a view of the garden. The equipment is good, you can find everything you need. The highlight for us was the sauna, which we used on two rainy days of our stay. Afterwards, cuddling up by the fireplace in the living room is already premium🤩. And the surroundings are beautiful. Hiking at the Listertalsperre, at the Biggesee & Co. is fun and ensures pure relaxation and a good mood. Oli as a host was very attentive and always available/responds quickly to messages and also gave us great tips for exploring the area. We would therefore be happy to come back☺️.

We stayed at Merle's cottage for 2 nights due to a wedding we had there. The cottage is very nicely located right in the center but still quiet. It is very cozy, tasteful and very clean. Sufficient parking space in the neighbourhood.

Very nice apartment in a beautiful setting. She is very clean and we didn't miss anything for such a stay. Shopping facilities can be reached quickly by car and the opportunities for the children are sufficient. The Spielberg has been the reason for our stay, this is great and if the weather thinks it is necessary, you have swimming pools right nearby.

We felt super comfortable in this tastefully furnished apartment. Everything you need is there - how often do you miss something in the kitchen - everything is really sufficient here! The area is quiet, but there is still a lot to reach on foot from the center to the supermarket. Thank you for having us! It is a very nice apartment where everything you need is present. Cozy and clean. Netflix on the TV that allows you to log in with your own account. And good beds. It is in the built-up area in a quiet location next to a reasonably large lake. Plenty of room to let the dog run or swim. And within walking distance of Bad Lippspringe, which you can reach via a beautiful route through the park. In Bad Lippspringe, there are a few restaurants and various shops. Beautiful hiking trails in the area. About 20 km away, you have Detmold, a very nice town with many restaurants and shops. We had a wonderful week and will definitely come back to Valentina when we come back to the area.
