fantastic place.. kids 11,9,5 loved trampoline, ropes course, swing and heated pool (which is alarmed so provided peace of mind) steep stairs to 2 bedrooms on lower floor where older kids slept. 5yr old and us slept in two bedrooms on ground floor with kitchen, lounge, dining etc. BBQs every day by pool. very private yet 5 min bike ride into village (although hill on way back - our 5 year old managed it but had to walk). great sports park in town with pump track, football pitches, tennis courts, basketball and crazy golf (all free but take equipment) and pop up bar! kids insisted on going back daily! good kid friendly pizza restaurant, pharmacy, bank, post office, minimarket amazing boulangerie, market with local produce on Mondays all in town. recommend flat traffic free cycle ride from Le Bugue to Limeuil (6km) on velo verte along valzere river (fab market on Tuesday in le Bugue). also amazing day kayaking down Dordogne (aquafun in limeuil) host v responsive and place immacate

Beautiful house and pool gite. Everything that you needed inside amd outside the house plus lots of extras, like dishwasher tablets. Beautiful surrounding area and great local town (Lalinde) with good restaurants and cafes. There was a market on Thursday which was good. Great host who was very helpful and responsive to our needs. Would love to come and stay again next year.

Philippe est un hôte très accueillant et très agréable. La maison est particulièrement belle et bien entretenue. Le cadre est superbe ! La vue est sublime. Le logement est très bien agencé et très propre. Rien ne manque, la générosité s'y fait sentir. Confort et qualité sont au rendez-vous. La présence de Kiwi est un vrai plaisir pour les amoureux des chats. 😉

Evelyne was wonderfully welcoming, helpful and provided lots of useful information. The rooms were spacious, the beds a decent size and the kitchen well equipped. Beautiful countryside and a lovely walk into St Emilion.

La villa est spacieuse et bien aménagée. Les espaces extérieurs sont particulièrement bien entretenus. La vue sur les vignes alentours est magnifique. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent. Le contact avec l'hôte était réactif et agréable.

Très belle villa au calme. Tout y est très fonctionnel, beaucoup d'équipement sont disponibles. La maison dispose de très grand espace de vie aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Nous avons passer un très agréable week-end à 9 personnes. Merci

We had an amazing time at this beautiful house. The house and amenities were great and all the hosts were very helpful. The outside facilities were incredible and we loved the location. We didn’t know if the reviews could live up to the hype but the property actually surpassed our expectations. We will definitely be going back. Everyone we met was lovely and very helpful. There is so much to do in the surrounding area and the restaurant Doma which is only 5 mins drive away was brilliant. Thank you for an amazing experience - it will be remembered!

We had a wonderful stay at Bertrand and Eloise’s beautiful house in Fronsac. We were 8 adults and 2 children and there was lots of place to visit and eat as a group. The place was exactly as expected and the little town of Fronsac was lovely. Perfect spot for visiting the area but you would want a car if you plan to explore. They were very responsive and provided us with a lot of very helpful information about the area and things to do. Arriving and having all the beautiful breakfast items was something we really appreciated. Groceries are a 10 minute drive to Libourne. Communication was also great and a few minor issues were resolved very quickly. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

This house is absolutely gorgeous! It is superbly equipped and had everything we needed and more. The outdoor space is great: beautifully maintained and very private and the river views are stunning. The pool was perfect for our three teens and they also appreciated the access to Netflix. The location is great as you can walk to nearby shops and restaurants and are an easy drive from multiple local attractions.

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this place is. It is bigger and grander than it looks in the photos and the view is stunning! It has lots of gorgeous bedrooms and we enjoyed having big meals in the dining room. The house is located on top of a hill with a view of the Dordogne River and very close to beautiful villages, caves, and nature.

First and foremost Lucie and her parents Annick and Pierre are greats hosts and super lovely. They were helpful and so welcoming. Perfect communication and always there when we need them. The chateau was a dream- peaceful and beautiful not to mention super clean! Our stay there was amazing and it’s perfect for family’s. Won’t hesitate to return! Spectacular stay at Le Cheval Blanc! We loved our week at this large but charming house in the countryside. Beautiful, clean and cozy bedrooms! Large comfortable living room area with a wood stove that came in handy in the unusually cool September. The kitchen-wow. The best appointed kitchen we have ever encountered! And then, there are the hosts that went above and beyond to make our experience phenomenal. Delicious welcome meal and a well stocked fridge to get us started. Bill and Jill were friendly and very helpful. Walks in the area possible. Many villages to visit within an hour or two. It was an amazing week. You should stay at Le Cheval Blanc!

Our stay at Sandra’s beautiful home was absolutely wonderful. The house is stunning, pristine and has everything a large family would need for a very comfortable stay. The kids loved the pool and the abundance of games available to them in the barn. All our adults loved the beautiful setting and peaceful grounds, the hammocks were well used for a relaxing read. We would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway- we loved it!

we stayed for five days and had a great time. The property is very nice in a really private peaceful location. Near to beautiful villages and as we were cycling we had lots of different options to choose. All beautiful. Oliver is really friendly and helpful. we would love to return.

What a fabulous find in the peaceful and beautiful area of Bouzic. A really well appointed home with everything you need for a great stay. The home is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is really well appointed with everything you need for a family or couples stay. Pool side is lovely. A great space to relax overlooking the well maintained garden and countryside. This fabulous old manoir has been so beautifully renovated! It still very much holds it's original charm, while there is everything available you could need for a family holiday. They seem to have thought of everything! We had a magnificent week looking out onto spring blossoms and green pastures. Our children had the best time in the heated pool and playing ping- pong. Fabienne welcomed us and was very helpful and available locally. Guillaume is a friendly and responsive host who made the whole booking process very efficient. Many thanks for this fantastic holiday. Obviously we would love to come back!

Beautiful and very stylish house in an absolutely stunning location. Lots to do inside, but standout feature is the expansive outside space with westward views across the large pool to the valley meaning spectacular sunsets from the terrace every evening.

I booked this place for my parents to stay after our wedding in France. My parents had an absolutely wonderful time. Marie made check in very easy for them and was easily contactable by phone if when they needed some help. My parents would highly highly recommend this home. Nadia en Pierre hebben een prachtige huis en thuis gecreëerd in een heerlijke regio. Hun goede smaak trekt zich door van de architectuur, tot het zwembad, de tuin, tot de meubels en zelfs de koffiekopjes toe. Je slaapt hier niet in een karakterloze vakantiewoning, maar komt hier thuis in de woning van een koppel met smaak, stijl en die houden van al het goede in het leven. Je kunt hun platen opzetten bij het aperitief, lekkere maaltijden koken in hun perfect geëquipeerde en charmante keuken, en de avond eindigen met een bekroonde film uit hun collectie terwijl die geprojecteerd wordt op het witte doek. Eigenlijk zou ik het liefst niet zo’n weergaloze recensie willen schrijven, en het adresje liefst voor mij houden. Nadia en Pierre zijn ook ontzettend vriendelijk in de omgang en verrasten ons met chocolade en met fruit uit de tuin. Voor mensen die houden van een creatief en esthetisch leven, in een geweldige omgeving die niet te toeristisch is, is dit het adres!
