Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bensafrim

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt - bekanntermaßen - direkt am Strand und ist dort auch das einzige Wohnhaus. Es ist komplett ausgestattet, insbesondere in der Küche fehlt es auch an nichts. Und auch das renovierte Bad ist sehr schön. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Probably the loveliest and cutest holiday rental I have stayed in - actually wished we could have spend more down time in the flat, but there is just a lot to do in Algarve! Everything looks just like in the pictures and Carlos and Eileen have thought of everything guests might need. The highlight is definitely the green garden with the outdoor bathtub. The kitchen is also really well equipped. Carlos and Eileen provided an incredibly detailed virtual guide, which included instructions on how everything works in the flat (including video instructions on how to operate the coffee machine, blinds, etc), as well as loads of great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The bed is up below the ceiling, so it does get a little bit hotter there than in the rest of the flat, but with the aircon (which worked well and pretty quietly) it's totally fine.

After staying in a few small villages previously, we were worried about staying in a larger town of Aljezur. But this accommodation is located right on the edge of town, and felt like we were very private. Lots of birds and trees, there is a river right below. It was amazing! The space is super cute. Very comfortable bed! We walked into town easily a few times, the old castle/fortress is very close also. Hosts are very helpful and responsive. Thanks!

A Perfect Family Getaway in Lagos! We recently spent a week at this beautiful villa in Lagos with our family, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spacious and immaculately clean the property was. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, whether inside the villa or out by the pool. The highlight for us was definitely the pool area—it offered a stunning view that made every morning coffee and evening swim feel like a luxury experience. The outdoor space was peaceful and well-maintained, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sunshine. Ursula, our host, was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. Her warm hospitality really added to the experience. The location was great too—quiet and private, yet just a short drive from the beaches and town centre. We felt completely at home and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend for families

Wir waren über eine Woche in der Unterkunft von Tobias und es hat all unseren Vorstellungen von einem stilvollen, eleganten, gut ausgestatteten Haus mit grandioser Terrasse entsprochen. Der Blick auf das Meer beim Essen draußen war jedes Mal erfüllend und wunderschön. Wir waren mit unseren beiden kleinen Kindern dort, die ea geliebt haben in dem Garten auf Erkundungstour zu gehen oder um das Haus zu rennen. Auch das benachbarte SurfHostelw war toll, da wir dort eine Yogastunde buchen konnten und einem Fischbarbecue mit dabei sein durften. Selbstverständlich war der 1 km entfernte Strand Praia Ingrina ein Highlight, da es eine geschützte Bucht ist und somit ideal für kleine Kinder. Hinzukommend waren wir oft nur ein paar Menschen an dem Strand. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The view itself is worth staying at this place. We loved listening to the waves as we fell asleep and loved waking up to an incredible view. Even while showering you can look out at the ocean. It was clean and has the bare minimum necessities. I think this spot on the interior has potential to be much cuter and a little better stocked, but we still loved our stay. We spent our afternoons on the deck tanning and loved how all restaurants, bars, and beach were all walking distance. This town is adorable!

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche an diesem wunderschönen Ort. Es ist ein rustikales Häuschen mit herrlichem Blick auf die Wellen von Arrifana. Das weiße Rauschen war absolut entspannend und der ganze Ort total entschleunigend. Hugo war sehr reaktionsschnell und alles lief reibungslos. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Absolutely stunning location, absolutely nothing default, the only thing I would say is if you have mobility issues both the walkway up to the property and the stairs to the mezzanine bedroom could be a little bit challenging especially if you’ve had a few drinks, we are in our 60s and generally fitso it was no problem for us.

An amazing stay! So sad to leave! The stylish, homey flat was perfect, peaceful yet close to everything. Ideal for couples: hikes to quiet beaches with stunning blue water, and thoughtful extras like beach towels, bags, bats for the beach, and even a parasol! The flat had everything, check the cupboards before buying anything. We recommend hiring a car, parking’s easy and visiting AEZA to walk rescue dogs (message them on socials FB a few days ahead), the Sagres fortress, then lunch at Fermento food&wine. Our fave food spots in Burgau: SUL (breakfast & romantic dinners), Miam (ceviche, mussels, caipirinhas!), Barraca (shrimp starter and octopus salad), and Corso (coffee & pizza). Lagos is more touristy, but Restaurante dos Artistas was a proper romantic dinner treat. This trip was the perfect mix of rest and adventure away from crowds. The beach was never too busy, and the breeze meant you didn’t always need the parasol. The host thought of every detail. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

Die Unterkunft war super. Wir waren eine Woche im Frühling mit unseren Kindern. Es war alles sehr sauber. Die Lage war super, weil man schnell in der Innenstadt war (perfekt für den Zeitraum). Pedro war sehr nett, schnell zu erreichen und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Es gab alles wie beschrieben. Wir fanden es toll. Danke!

Super Aufenthalt, tolle Ausstattung - es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und freundliche und schnelle Kommunikation - wir würden wieder kommen :)

Nous avons offert ce voyage à nos parents pour Noël et nous sommes vraiment content ! L’appartement était parfait et Miguel très gentil et accueillant. Il nous a informé des activités à faire sur place et à même réservé pour nous. Ils nous a également envoyé toutes les informations que nous avions besoins sur place ( restaurants, sorties, prix de l’essence, du café…) je le recommande vraiment ! Encore merci ☺️

Wir hatten eine schöne, erholsame Woche in der Unterkunft von Oliver und Nina. Die Umgebung war toll. Nicht zu überlaufen, viele schöne Dinge, die man unternehmen kann und sogar fußläufig einige leckere Restaurants. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen und würden auch grundsätzlich einen empfehlen. Die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist zwar nicht weit weg, aber mit Auto doch komfortabler. Die Unterkunft selbst war gepflegt, sauber und wie auf den Fotos abgebildet :-) wir würden wieder kommen.

This place is diamond level ! They had everything we needed to enjoy the beach that’s a walkable distance from the location. Cozy, quiet, and great location. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at Peggy’s condo for 3 overnights. She was very responsive and clear with instructions about finding the condo and how to gain access. The condo was very well equipped and the upstairs rooftop views were spectacular. There are walkable restaurants for all Meals. You can walk to the walking section of Lagos. We drove as we had a rental car and are seniors. There is a local beach nearby- driveable. We used Peggy’s place as our base and went out and explored the beautiful Algarve every day. I highly recommend as the condo is exactly as described and Peggy and Rupert are fantastic hosts. The condo is also very clean and well maintained.

Raquel is one of the most communicative and responsive hosts I’ve ever interacted with on Airbnb. The location of this home is unbelievable. I fell in love with Albufeira from the first few hours i was there, and couldn’t believe how well-situated this place was to all the fun the area has to offer. ACs and most amenities worked well. I’m not sure if it’s a design related to homes in that area, but the open bathroom in the master bedroom, including the shower design, seemed impractical. I needed to rearrange items in that area, and wipe the floor/toilet after every shower. The iron was unusable due to a stain on the ironing surface, and risk of damaging clothes. The washing machine was small and not very effective. We needed to do a lot of loads to clean our clothes, then air dry them, but glad we had a washer! Overall, this is a great place, Raquel’s a great host, and i recommend booking, for anyone visiting Albufeira. Great for 2 ppl, but could accommodate a couple more too. Enjoy!

Die Unterkunft von Marco war richtig super. 9/10 Punkten - warum: Ich dachte laut den Fotos, dass es das Nachbarhaus ist mit Pool. Wir waren im ersten Stock und eigentlich bevorzuge ich mit meinem 5 jährigen Sohn eine Unterkunft im Erdgeschoss, dass war leider nicht ganz klar ersichtlich. Top war: nicht mal 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand, tolle Restaurants am Strand, teurer Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke. Die Wohnung ist super sauber und die Küche hat für Selbstversorger alles was man unbedingt braucht aber auch nicht mehr, kein Nudelsieb und auch keine Zitronenpresse, zB. Geschirr auch minimal von der Stückanzahl (6 Gläser). Marco und seine Mama sind super nett und hilfreich beim Check in, weiters haben wir sie nicht gebraucht, da es nicht unser erster Portugal Urlaub war. Preis-Leistung mit Pool top - kann man nichts ausschließen. Portimão super Lage mit Auto in 50 Minuten in Faro Flughafen und in 30 Minuten in Lagos. Liebe Grüße, Jessica & Family.

La localisation de l’unité, la tranquillité et la propreté des lieux étaient excellentes ! La configuration de l’unité permettait à tous les membres de notre famille d’avoir leur espace de tranquillité. La terrasse couverte était un gros plus et nous permettait de pouvoir manger à l’extérieur sans être constamment au soleil. Une très belle plage se situe à moins de 5 min en voiture et la route est très bien faite pour celles et ceux qui aimeraient s’y rendre à vélo. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir :)

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Great apartment. Great location within the old town of Lagos. Bars / restaurants and also good proximity to the Beaches. apartment is spacious and airy with outdoor space. Comms were excellent with our host. Easy to get in/check out. Highly recommend. Thanks!

We had a fantastic week in Elisa’s apartment, the view is beautiful! So lovely to see and hear the sea everyday. It’s a short walk into town with lots of great bars and restaurants, we also easily got parked nearby. Elisa was a great host, very responsive and I recommend reading her blog with loads of great recommendations for exploring the algarve. Thank you Elisa!

Wow!! What an amazing place! One of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in! The photos don’t do it justice! So much nicer!! Super clean, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, fantastic rooftop terrace, and gorgeous beach views! The location is fantastic, literally a two minute walk to the beautiful Meia Praia beach. Carolina is so friendly and was super attentive during our stay! Highly recommend and will definitely be back soon!!

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! My husband and I enjoyed three marvelous days at this incredible home in Carvoeiro and the welcome bottle of wine and water was so thoughtful! Willem and Laura were extremely responsive with all correspondence. The apartment is clean, contemporary, comfortable bed, nicely furnished and the views are fantastic!! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare daily breakfast and we appreciated the starter coffee pods. We really enjoyed kayaking to Benegil Cave; fabulous meals at The Garden and Levels; and overall charm of the special town. Thank you Willem and Laura! We highly recommend this rental and would love to visit again!
