Casa de Cuesta Roman is in an idyllic spot in the Andalusian countryside, with panoramic views in all directions. Enjoy peaceful, secluded relaxation at the villa with BBQs by the poolside or explore the local beaches, hill-top towns and tapas bars.
“This beautiful accommodation, which is very idyllic and very practical, we can only recommend. The kitchen and the yard (with tiled benches, lizards on tiles and in nature, a large terrace and a secluded place with hammocks) are typical of the country. The rooms are just as equipped, as shown in the pictures and also very pretty. The pool is large enough with about 4x4m and always very clean, also by the tireless use of Oscar, the discreetly about once a week. The garden kitchen is really good, because with the food preparation then no odor nuisance for the bedroom is connected. Crockery, cutlery and towels are sufficiently available. When there is no agricultural machine in use on the hillside, you only hear the sound of crickets or the moaning of goats. The sea is within 20 min. to reach by car, as well as the nearest major supermarket. You do not necessarily need a Jeep for the way to the cottage, but for a fully loaded car, a slightly better engine would be recommended, as there are some gradients to overcome.”

“I can't explain how much we fell in love with Attico. It felt like a home away from home. Everything was so comfortable and stylish - and you had everything you needed to hole yourself up for a week with supplies like we ended up doing! We left once to visit a local market in Torre which was great, but couldn't wait to get back to the beautiful secluded pool. Great air con, hugest comfiest sofa for movie nights after a long relaxing day on a squidy sunbed by the refreshingly cold and clean pool. There is a great terrace which is a sun trap in the mornings for breakfast, and we enjoyed having a glass of wine watching the sunset on the front mini terrace filled with bougainvillaea. We were so in awe of how silent and peaceful the surroundings were. Such a perfect place to unwind and unplug. Can't get over this place, highly highly recommend! Miss it so much already and can't wait to come back. Thanks guys!”
Casita Gecko, newly refurbished, rustic casita set amongst the olive groves, with magnificent views of the National Park. Located opposite the white-washed village of Alcaucin, and just 10 minutes drive from shops/restaurants at Puente don Manuel and only 50 minutes from Alhama Granada with its Castles, Churches & hot springs. A cozy lounge, kitchen, 2 adjoining bedrooms, bathroom and private pool. An excellent retreat to unwind, relax or use as a base to explore surrounding towns & villages.
“We had a fantastic, relaxing trip away at Casita Gecko. Paul and Bev are perfect hosts and couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The accomodation is compact but very well equipped, with beautiful private views across the valley and within 20-30 mins walk to the 2 nearest villages. The pool is fantastic and is a good size - there is no shallow end though which was not a problem for us. Local beach is about 25 minutes drive and is lovely, so much nicer than the big resorts nearer Malaga. There are some stunning local roads up over the mountains to the town of Alhama de Granada and its thermal baths and the nearby lake is good for water sports -our kids loved using the pedalos with a built in water slide! For those seeking a chilled out holiday within easy striking distance of the bright lights of Malaga Casita Gecko is highly recommended.”
