We had the pleasure of spending a few unforgettable days at Katie’s beautiful apartment in Ronco sopra Ascona. The view is absolutely breathtaking – Lake Maggiore stretches out at your feet, with Ascona and the Brissago Island in full view, framed by the surrounding mountains. The long hours of sunshine on the spacious terrace were a true highlight. The apartment is nice furnished, very well maintained, and offers plenty of space with its three bedrooms – ideal for families or small groups. Everything was clean and perfectly prepared – you can tell Katie is a thoughtful and caring host. The location is peaceful, yet just a short drive from Ascona and the lake. The combination of privacy, stunning views, and comfort makes this place a real gem. We’d love to come back – thank you, Katie!

Everything was perfect!! The apartment was spacious, well furnished and so comfortable!! Kitchen was well stocked with premier utensils. The location was great to explore the waterfront and beautiful surroundings. We parked in the 30 minute lot at the head of the street to load and unload. The parking pass that he provided for us was a key benefit. We would highly recommend Stefano’s apartment and would surely stay there again.

The most perfect stay. This truly a unique place, all of the beauty of lake como, but without the crowds; amazing views from a huge private balcony. Paola was an exceptional host, cook and simply a joy to spend some time with. We couldn't recommend this place more and has been the highlight of our trip. Un soggiorno perfetto. Un posto davvero unico, con tutta la bellezza del lago di Como, ma senza la folla; una vista mozzafiato da un enorme balcone privato. Paola è stata un'ospite e una cuoca eccezionali, ed è stato semplicemente un piacere trascorrere del tempo con lei. Non potremmo consigliare questo posto di più, è stato il momento clou del nostro viaggio.

Wir haben eine Woche in der Unterkunft von Mara und Marco verbracht. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, die Aussicht war wunderbar und die Tipps von Mara goldwert. Wir hatten in der Küche alles was wir brauchten und es war außergewöhnlich sauber. Nicht mal Staub in den Schränken gab es. Es gibt einen Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück und nicht an der Straße - somit haben wir uns auch um unser Auto keine Sorgen gemacht. Wir schließen uns einigen der Bewertungen an, dass das Bett nicht so bequem war und die Couch ebenfalls. Auch, dass es kein Internet gibt sollte einem bewusst sein - wir hatten aber mobile Daten somit war das kein Problem. Wenn einem das (so wie uns) nicht wichtig ist hat man hier auf jeden Fall eine tolle Zeit! Wir würden wieder kommen.

Had the best time in Emanuela's apartment! She was so accommodating when we arrived earlier in the day, allowing us to drop our bags off so we didn't have to carry them about. Once we checked in, she was so helpful with local recommendations and tips. The apartment itself is stunning, right on the waterfront and has so much charm and personality! It allows for easy access to the busier parts of the lake, yet is in a peaceful area! Would entirely recommend the apartment to anyone wanting to visit, and will hopefully visit again at some point in the future!

Light, bright, clean and comfortable. Comfortable bed, good kitchen with cooktop, microwave and coffee maker. Pleasant terrace looking over to the mountains with table and chairs. Quite spacious with room to move around. We stayed 2 nights using it as a base. Parking almost directly across the road. Friendly and responsive hosts.

Such a lovely stay at Alice’s air BnB. Firstly, the pictures do not do the view justice - words can’t describe how beautiful the view is. The location is handy as you’re located not too far out from Como and a short bus journey to Bellagio. The air BnB was spacious and the balcony is such a lovely touch for a breakfast in the morning and a relaxed drink at night. Alice has been the best host I’ve had so far, thank you so much. We would absolutely recommend this place and would happily stay again.

The “Hydrangea Villa” at the very top of Villa Monti was a dream to stay in. The views were outstanding and all the windows open to hear the birds singing and allow cool breezes to flow thru (there is an excellent A/C system in this upper space as well). The downstairs bedroom & bath was just as clean, but not as cool as the “tower”. Communication pre-arrival was prompt and the onsite manager “MG” is friendly, attentive, knows Varenna well and gave us great suggestions for dinners & hikes ( do not miss hiking to the cemetery, waterfall and castle)! He carried our ( heavy!) bags up the 99 steps to our room- thank you MG!! The pool, although small was very refreshing and the area around it so pleasant to sit and gaze over Lake Como while drinking wine. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Villa Monti to anyone traveling to beautiful Varenna.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Blue Boat Apartment! Es war alles perfekt. Die Wohnung war sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Silvia und Gigi haben uns herzlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt. Auch für unsere 10 Monate alte Tochter hat alles sehr gut gepasst. Wir werden die Aussicht und den Flair sehr vermissen. We had a lovely time- With a beautiful view, which was worth the sweat up and down the stairs. Kathi's guidebook is so helpful and we had the best Lake Como swim just a few steps away! We managed to still work remotely, the WIFI was stable enough for video calls, and the apartment is equipped with everything you need for a 5 star stay! If Daisy had an elevator & AC I would've given her 10 stars!

Die Wohnung war extrem sauber (großes Lob an die Reinigungskräfte), der Ausblick ein Traum! Per Auto gut zu erreichen, auch wenn ein kleines Auto eher empfehlenswert ist. Die Ruhe haben wir sehr genossen. Alles war wirklich super und wir waren extrem zufrieden und haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Die Wohnung von Niky entspricht total den Bildern. Die Wohnung war sauber und alles da, was man benötigt. Toll war für uns die flexiblen Zeiten für An und Abreise, alles sehr einfach und unkompliziert. Das Tischchen auf dem schmalen Balkon ist für 4 Personen sehr knapp bemessen, wir waren aber nur zu zweit, von dem her hat er uns völlig ausgereicht. Die Schlafzimmer gehen in Richtung Straße, daher mussten wir immer bei geschlossenen Fenster schlafen. Für uns waren die Betten leider nicht ganz so bequem (aber das ist ja immer eine persönliche Empfindung). Aber ansonsten können wir einen Aufenthalt bei Niky mehr als empfehlen

Great, great place! And as important (more?), I great, great host! Marco is one of the truly great hosts! Location was great, place was spotless and equipped beyond expectations! I had lost my razor along the way, and to my amazement, there was an individually wrapped "shaving kit", along with other little kits of things people forget! I honestly don't recall more comfortable sleeps than my nights here! All around truly one of the best! Highly, highly recommended!

Der Gastgeber Andrea war wirklich sehr nett und immer hilfbereit. Er hat schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert. Kann es wirklich nur weiterempfehlen. Mit dem Bus / Shuttle Bus konnte ist Varenna sehr gut erreichbar. Es war wie auf den Fotos beschrieben :)

Wir hatten einen richtig tollen Aufenthalt bei Luca in Ameno! Wir waren für eine Woche in der Unterkunft und haben uns direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt, es war sehr schön für uns. Die Landschaft ist einfach atemberaubend , der Garten hat unsere Herzen höher schlagen lassen, überall gab es Ecken zum entspannen. Mit den Fahrrädern konnten wir die Gegend erkunden, Luca gab uns Tipps für die Umgebung. Die Wohnung war perfekt für uns, wobei wir den größten Teil unseres Aufenthalts draußen im Garten verbracht haben. Luca war sehr freundlich und hat uns mit offenen Armen in seinem Zuhause willkommen geheißen. Wir hätten es nicht besser haben können und kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder! Alles in allem perfekt, ich würde gerne mehr als 5 Sterne geben <3

Silvia’s place is perfect for a stay in Como. The location couldn’t be better — it’s walking distance to the train station, the pier, and the bus stop to Menaggio and Bellagio. The apartment is super spacious, really clean, has a super comfy bed, and is fully equipped with everything you need. The washing machine was definitely a big plus. Silvia is incredibly kind and helpful from the very beginning. We totally recommend it — book it without a second thought!

Rolig og flott sted, leiligheten var som beskrevet i annonsen. Vi var 6 voksne som hadde ei flott uke i leiligheten med flott utsikt. Vi leide sykler fra @Bike it! Bellagio, veldig god service her også. Fint å sykle å oppleve nye steder, ferge fra Bellagio gikk til begge sidene av innsjøen og var lett tilgjengelig 😊

Smještaj je bio jako ugodan, čist i predivno rustikalno uređen. Kuća se nalazi na mirnoj lokaciji s divnim pogledom na jezero, a upute koje smo dobili su nam omogućile da dođemo do nje bez problema. Također, u smještaju su nas dočekala svježa jaja, sok, slatkiši, pjenušac i drugi pokloni, što je vrlo lijepo i pohvalno. Svaka preporuka za ovaj smještaj ako želite miran i ugodan odmor, mi smo se osjećali kao kod kuće.

I would give this place ten stars if I could! The view is amazing. The place was just like the pictures and it was nice to have a little kitchenette. Gianluca was so kind and a great host! Definitely would recommend!
