Holiday rentals with a pool in Belle Chasse

We stayed at Pool Haven last week while moving our daughter into Tulane, and it was a fantastic home base for a very busy trip. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to Magazine Street, which made it easy to grab coffee, shop, or find great food in between all the moving errands. The house itself was clean, spacious, and had a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The pool was such a nice bonus—perfect for cooling off and relaxation together. Edward and David were incredibly gracious hosts—responsive, thoughtful, and so easy to communicate with. And Marlene, their sweet dog, was truly an angel! She added a special, comforting presence that made us feel right at home. We’d absolutely recommend Pool Haven to other Tulane families or anyone visiting New Orleans. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible Stay in New Orleans! This place was absolutely perfect for our trip! The house was huge—tons of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The pool was a definite highlight and made for some great hangout time. Inside and out, there were plenty of spots to chill, and the modern design made everything feel clean and upscale. Parking was easy (a rare find in New Orleans!), and the location couldn’t have been better—super close to tons of activities, restaurants, and nightlife. Plus, with so many rooms, it easily accommodated our group without ever feeling crowded. Highly recommend staying here—would definitely book again next time we’re in the city.

My family stayed here for a weekend-long celebration of my birthday, and it was perfect for 10 adults - large well-provisioned kitchen, ample bathrooms, and large comfortable bedrooms. It's worth noting though that 3 of the bedrooms are attached railroad style, which was fine for us. The pool area was also beautiful and chill to relax after a few long days of being out and about. Highly recommend a stay here!

The house was just what our family needed for our trip to NOLA. The location is perfect. It took us about 15 minutes to get to wherever we wanted to go. There are plenty of restaurants and markets close by and within walking distance. The neighborhood was friendly and felt very safe. The house was just as described and was a nice place to come back to after a long day exploring. The hosts supplied so many things that are often forgotten by travelers. The pool was a welcome respite after a long hot day. The house provides plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. NOLA definitely has its own vibe and this house allowed us to feel like the locals during our stay. Thanks for sharing.

Place was exceptional. Hosts were very informative and friendly. Really enjoyed our stay, which was last minute and unexpected due to Hurricane Helene. We loved Alleshia’s place and she was a great host! This was our second time staying here and we would definitely stay here again the next time we visit NOLA!

The place was perfect for our needs, hosting out-of-town guests for the weekend. We put two families in the main house together. A few of the bedrooms connect or are pass-throughs, so this worked well for people who are familiar with each other. Even still, almost everyone had their own well-appointed bathroom and very comfortable beds. There are another two stand alone rooms with ensuite bathrooms by the pool as well that have lots of privacy. It's a fun and funky sprawling house, and we were able to pay an event fee to have a few additional guests over for a pool party, which was really perfect and a unique opportunity, as this is not possible at many properties. Daniel and Lauren were very accommodating, helpful and communicative.

I echo all of the other reviews — great walkable location, but not too loud or crazy. The place was comfortable for 2 couples and had everything we needed. We went out for our meals so can’t speak to the kitchen essentials. Minor cons were the lobby/hall scent was distinctly unpleasant and when inquiring on early check-in, we received what appeared to be an automated reply that we would be notified on availability and never were despite no bookings for a few days prior to ours. For the price point and location, would recommend

The space was great, exactly as promised. Location is absolutely perfect to experience the French Quarter. Walking distance to street car and bus lines for easy transportation to other places in the city. The space was very clean and had every amenity we could have wanted. One bedroom is street side and can be a bit loud at times but the other room is secluded in the interior and was plenty quiet to rest up. It is a heavy nightlife area so asking for total silence is not realistic, but for the location it was much quieter than we were expecting. Overall a great stay as long as you understand your location and the reality of the area being very busy and pretty loud. Would 100% recommend this stay to anyone looking to experience bourbon street and the surrounding area.

This house was amazing, spacious, clean and had a lovely large kitchen as well as a beautiful peaceful courtyard and pool area. The only issue is that there was a broken floodlight on a lamp post outside the bedroom window that had no covering. The flood light was broken and shined light in every 3-5 minutes at night making it impossible to sleep in the main bedroom. I reached out 3 times about finding some sort of solution (even a black trash bag taped!) but each time I was simply met with, "this is a priority" but it was never fixed. Also since we had such an issue we had hoped for a slightly later check out - which was not granted. Other than that, we had a great experience and luckily the bedrooms where our kids slept were free of issues.

10/10 Highly Recommend ! This was my boyfriend’s and I second time staying here. Everything is as pictured and the hosts are very responsive. I’m already thinking about coming back the end of June. Thanks for everything and providing a home away from home.

I loved this location did not want to leave perfect for our mom's weekend staycation

This was a great place to stay, though it was pretty bare bones in the kitchen and as far as furniture goes. Never did find bedding for the pull out couch and the tv didn’t work but the host tried to help with both of those issues. Location for ease of the streetcar was great!

OBSESSED WITH THE POOL!!!!! (Only downside was that there were no railings so it was tough for my older mom to get into but overall the outside space was AMAAAAAZING!!!! Spent the majority of our time out there. The apartment itself wasn’t anything to write home about but it was definitely sufficient for our needs. Lots of mirrors so if you’re getting ready for a wedding like we were there was enough space. Book this place if you love spending time outside. Talked to the cleaning crew who kept the outside in top shape and they were so nice! Loved our time here and the hosts are very responsive and accommodating!

Great location & comfortable space. Beds were very comfortable too! Having access to a parking space in the garage is a huge value add. The neighborhood is central to walking downtown or towards the Garden District. Lots of restaurants, bars & shops close by. We loved it & hope to return.
