Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Beja

Well located in Alfama. Between Sta Apolonia train station and Terreiro do Paco metro. Supermarket is a 10 minute walk away. Apartment on the top floor of a typical Alfama building (steep and narrow staircase), in high season it can be hot, you have to sleep with the fans or windows open.

This was such a lovely place to stay. The Airbnb was beautiful, clean and had anything and everything we could possibly need. João was super friendly and quick to respond. He had many great recommendations as well! The neighborhood was safe, peaceful and had everything in walking distance! We would love to come back again someday and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

If you want a relatively quiet, clean, convenient, and comfortable place in the heart of Old Town Lagos, this is the apartment! Above TWO coffee shops actually (one is sit down, one is takeaway!), this flat has everything you might need for any length of stay. I can't think of anything it was missing (other than paper towels). Just watch the annoying slats under the mattress (easy to adjust but annoying when they come off the rails!). I read reviews before staying here and I can see how the bathroom situation might not be ideal for some. There is no bathroom door (there is a curtain), but a clear glass door into the toilet and another clear glass door into the shower. I say "relatively" quiet because you will hear occasional street noise, but only one night out of four was disruptive, because a rooftop bar on the next block was having a smooth jazz party (did it have to be smooth jazz?!). Otherwise, it was extremely quiet indoors, and not at all noisy outside on the beautiful patio.

The apartment is located inn a great area - Alfama. The hike to get to the unit was tough especially when I went in the wrong direction from the train station, but Pedro was patiently waiting there for us. After our hike to get there, completing the 68 steps to the unit was a breeze. LOL The view is spectacular and saw cruise ships coming and going every day. The unit was clean, comfortable. I had issues with the TV but did not go to Lisbon to watch TV. I was connected to the Wi-FI but not the internet, which was fine as my phone did the work for me and I was not working online. Ann and Rita Have created a special space and were are grateful for the accommodations. They did a tasteful job with the decor. I would definitely recommend the unit to anyone. Great job. Our stay here was top notch. Joana left us a full fridge, and a basket full of dry goods. We were able to relax in the home and enjoy the beautiful space because of this. The internet stopped working one evening, and Joana texted us back within moments to let us know she had contacted the internet provider and it was a regional outage. She checked in multiple times throughout our stay to ensure we were comfortable. We told Joana this, but this was the only place we stayed in during our two week vacation in Portugal that felt like home.

Miguel’s Airbnb is a true gem — easily one of our favorite stays in Portugal. The location is perfect, with stunning views and just a 10-minute drive to beaches, restaurants, and everything we needed. Miguel was a fantastic host, welcoming us in person and sharing great local tips. The place is fully equipped with everything from AC to a washer/dryer and coffee machine. It felt like a home away from home. Thank you, Miguel, for making our trip so memorable!

This apartment was better than advertised. Great location with restaurants, shoppings, and other places right next door. Luis and team did a great job hosting. They provided great instructions and were responsive throughout the entire stay. We loved our time in Lisbon.

Alain is one of the best host we have had, responsive, always available and following up with us. Apartment was super clean, amazing location but once inside we couldn't hear any noises from surrounding activities. The rooftop has an amazing view, we enjoy some wine from there.

Luisa is the best host. She personally welcomed us to the house, explained the history and showed us how various appliances worked, how to dry clothes, operate the windows etc. She sat down with a map to provide details of where we were located and what we could see and do in Evora. She also provided some local produce and explained its origin. She then lead the way in her car to the underground carpark. Such a relief not to have to navigate the narrow one way maze of streets on our own. The accommodation itself is fabulous, a converted former shop in the Jewish area with a brick ceiling and lots of arches, which belonged to her grandfather. The clever conversion fits in everything including a wardrobe and decent sized bathroom with a large bath. The furniture was comfortable and there were lamps and other thoughtful touches everywhere. The location is a good base from which to explore Evora. Highly recommended.

The house was amazing, especially 3 balcony levels, which felt very luxurious, with a great view of the beach and the ocean. The bed in the main bedroom was so comfortable, that I had the best sleep in a long time. I seriously did not want to leave that bed, lol. Great location, 3 min walk to the elevator down to the beach (great help as opposed to taking the stairs up and down), and the old town is also walking distance (10-15 min). Parking is a bit tricky, but we were able to find a spot if not on this street, then on the neighboring streets. The house is well equipped with everything you need (I would also add paper towels and shampoo/conditioner, but we were able to buy those at a grocery store nearby). The communication with the host was very quick and efficient, everything we needed was resolved fast. Welcoming bottle of wine and snacks were also appreciated. I highly recommend this accommodation, you won't be disappointed!

We had booked very last minute 2 hours before our arrival. Check-in was still completely straightforward and Carmo had prepared everything for our arrival. The bed is very comfortable and it is very quiet at night even though the bedroom window goes directly onto the street. Otherwise, the house offers everything you need and the mountain village is a charming starting point for excursions to the beach and the surrounding area.

When searching Airbnb for a place to stay in Portugal, Pedro’s property stood out. From our initial enquiry to the day we left Portugal after our 14 night holiday, Pedro was fantastic, always in contact with helpful information or to answer any questions we had. Our stay in Portugal was made more memorable because Pedro was our host and we highly recommend him and his apartment

We stayed with friends for 1 week in Lara's accommodation and felt comfortable from the beginning. The house was super clean. Lara was always easily accessible. The facility is very modern and the pool has sun all day! The house absolutely met our expectations. A small minus point from our side: The house is located on a busy, noisy country road in a residential area under construction. You have to expect construction noise. Thank you very much, Lara!! Had a great time!

We stayed at Isabel’s villa for 9 nights, we were 4 adults and 4 kids. The villa is fantastic - much better than the pictures, well equipped with everything you need and very spacious (big rooms, lots of outdoor space, bbq and a big pool). We paid to have the pool heated which was beneficial as some days it was a bit chilly. The villa is fairly remote, we had cars but also used Ubers to get around. It’s about a 3-4 min drive to the nearest supermarket and a 5 min drive to the main town and beach. Isabel recommended some day trips and local restaurants, all of which were great. She was also flexible with check in and check out times which was super handy with the kids, and was very responsive throughout the trip when we had questions. We’d 100% recommend this villa for a family holiday and hope to return!

We stayed there as couple for 4 nights. We had the rooftop apartment and it was even better than what we imagined from pictures. All amenities are spotless and at different level - like you would buy for your own place. We liked specifically the private parking and lemon trees at site. We felt like Villa didn’t match with its surroundings. Even though it had a spectacular view over the port, location is not a typical city center. A short Uber ride is sufficient to get you to the city though. We would definitely come back and stay here. We loved it!

Joao warmly welcomed us and even provided wine and a fruit plate for us. He gave us many tips for excursions and always responded quickly. The location is very central and you can reach the sea and center on foot in about 10-15 minutes. There is a very good bakery (Delicias), and many grocery stores nearby. The apartment is well equipped and has a wonderful view of the sea. The apartment is on the 3rd floor.

The apartment is lovely, clean, well-equipped, and even more spacious than expected. The location is close to bustling neighborhoods, but the building itself is very peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

Very well located, with great amenities and sparkling clean. Building with an elevator, which makes a huge difference in Lisbon where many historical houses are walk-ups. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable apartment in a great neighborhood of Lisbon. Nicely decorated spaces with plenty of room. The neighborhood is home to a number of neat shops and restaurants as well as some wonderful parks. We found it to be a great base for pedestrian exploration of the city. It was very hot while we were in Lisbon and the AC worked well. All in all, a great stay. Would recommend.

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! The apartment is fantastic, like staying in a piece of history. Wilfried has taken great care with the renovations and has also kitted out the apartment with high quality bedding and toiletries. Kitchen is really well equipped and Wilfried provided a vast array of coffees and teas. The rooms and bathroom layout worked well for us, a family of five with three grown-up sons, so everyone had their own room and slept well. The location is perfect, very central and easy to walk to most attractions or use Uber for going slightly further out. Its in a busy location with a lovely atmosphere. We weren't troubled by any noise - the trams and bars also close relatively early anyway. Wilfried is great and pro-active communicator. Everything was clean and Eugenia was a delight to meet. Thank you, we would love to stay again.
