We had a great time staying here! We got there just in time for the pool to be done and were pleasantly surprised when we saw that it was heated and were able to swim in the middle of May. Beds were soft, host was responsive, and we had plenty of space for our group. Only negative I have really was the amount of ticks in the area. But as long as you do a good check over before going back inside after a hike, you’ll be fine!

We had a unforgettable weekend at Kathryn's home with good friends! The pool, the barn, the privacy and the surroundings were spectacular! I already recommended the home to mu family because it does feel like home 🏡

It’s hard to put into words how absolutely incredible this property is… it was a bachelorette weekend get away that was made even more perfect with this location. Due to a storm that went through the area, we lost power as well as water, David and Andrea handled it immediately and were giving us updates as the process as soon as they had updates! The inside of the house gives you a whole other experience, the decor just kept your eyes traveling throughout the home and everything was perfect. The hardest part about the weekend was having to checkout, simply because we just didn’t want to leave! If you are looking for a relaxing weekend with a group, this is the place to be!

Absolutely wonderful stay! The place was spotless and incredibly well-maintained. You can tell the host really takes pride in making guests feel comfortable. Directions were super clear, and communication from the host was top-notch from start to finish. She was warm, responsive, and made everything seamless. I also really appreciated the thoughtful touches — local popcorn, a variety of coffee creamers, and other little extras that made it feel extra cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-hosted stay. I’d definitely come back!

Charles hosts a beautiful cabin. Everything is very clean, tons of room with an overall beautiful surrounding. We enjoyed the fire pit and basement space as well as breakfast on the balcony both mornings. Would book again without hesitation.

We had a wonderful family reunion here. Kids delighted in the property and the lands around it. We did the hike behind the house every day. We were all very comfortable and had access to all the comforts you’d expect in the city. The photos don’t do justice to the place, and Keith and his families were welcoming and wonderful. Allah bless these kind souls.

Really enjoyed ourselves. The fire pit was a huge bonus. Great time sitting around the fire with family.

Beautifully renovated farmhouse in a peaceful, private setting. The open spring-fed pond behind the house adds a lovely touch—when the water is clear, you can see large fish swimming beneath the surface. It’s a serene and relaxing place, yet still conveniently located near everything in Friends Cove. Note that the upstairs layout may be challenging for those with mobility issues, as access and movement can be a bit difficult as there are a lot of stairs and different levels. Otherwise, a wonderful stay—would definitely return if the opportunity arises.

Great spacious place, super relaxing, quite neighborhood. grilled every night there for dinner will definitely recommend. no tvs so brought my projector the internet is fast and streamed movies

We have stayed here several times and always enjoy! The back deck facing creek and woods is our favorite hangout! Jolie and Galen very friendly and responsive.

I loved my stay i just wished that there were tv’s in every room and one room the outlet didn’t work but then enjoyed it

This place is a true gem. The views from the main room and porch are stunning and unmatched. incredibly relaxing. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook for a group. Beds super comfortable.

We loved our stay visiting family for our son’s first birthday. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked for us to prep. The bathroom was great and the shower was incredibly clean. We had all the ammenities we could need. Libby has so many little things that make such a difference. She was quick to respond to messages and so friendly! The area is peaceful and safe. We will definitely be booking again! Highly recommend.

Worked out well for our work trip to Defiance.

Lovely home, located in the beautiful Pennsylvania country side. Ann stopped by for a visit, and is well versed in all the local events and restaurant's in the surrounding area. We attended a wedding at the Woodhaven Event Venue. The house is within walking distance of the venue with the added bonus of crossing the covered bride at the bottom of the hill. The house is beautifully furnished and we had no issues cooking our meals and also took advantage of the fire pit located in the back of the house. Thanks Ann and Richard. I highly recommend you check this place out if you are looking to spend some time in the area.
