Welcome to Gite Des Roses, set within a 300 year old farmhouse surrounded by the Normandy countryside. Myself, my husband, our dog, cat and 5 free range chickens love it here. One dog allowed per stay. 2 on request. Dogs to be kept on a lead in garden. Our private one bedroom Gite has been fully renovated to a high spec in 2022 and is ideal for couples wanting a relaxing holiday yet only a 5 minutes drive to the nearest town with all amenities. Once the village bank, it has been lovingly transformed into an intimate and quirky cottage from where you can explore the beautiful French countryside, immortalized by the famous French Artists, Pissaro and Piet. Close to the small, but vibrant market town of Lassay Les Chateaux, a visit to the 14th C chateau, and local boulangeries is essential. With the Musee de Cidre on your doorstep, there is plenty to see and do.

You can organize hiking and cycling on beautiful trails where you can meet roe deer and does.

The wi fi has now been upgraded to fibre & is rated ‘very fast ‘ As well as the two small lakes there is a dell and bog garden. Surrounding area is excellent for walkers & cyclists. Bikes are available for guests at no extra cost.

Peace and relaxation in this charming studio of an old farmhouse dating back to 1640. At the meeting, the rooster and his morning bugle, the kid of the year at the window who comes to get his weekly caress. You have 1 independent entrance, linen (see details in equipment) provided, 1 parking space, 1 outdoor space with: Picnic table, deckchairs, outdoor games available, the extra bed is ideal for 1 child new main bedding.

Our old bakery is part of our farmhouse. On the ground floor, it is equipped with an equipped kitchen and a shower room with toilet. Upstairs, an attic bedroom has 3 separate beds. Outside, our guests have access to a private terrace with garden furniture. For breakfast, we offer bread made on the farm from cereals grown by us. Close to the greenway, walkers will appreciate this stopover.

You will have views of the Saint-Aubert Gorges, a wild place with rocky and wooded slopes. Lake Rabodanges is just a mile away from the property. The small house has cozy decor and a warm atmosphere, especially around the lit stove.
