Had such a lovely stay at Ashley & Simon's cottage. Me and my boyfriend felt right at home as soon as we got there and both hosts were so friendly from the get go. The decor was stunning and so homely - loved the artwork in the bedroom! Everything we needed was already equipped in the cottage. The bed was SUPER comfy and the hot tub was a great way to end our little week away 😍🛀 Would definitely stay here again if ever in Kelso! Highly recommend! ⭐️

we had a lovely restful stay at the cottage and would thoroughly recommend a stay here. The cottage was perfect and equipped very well. There was a large welcome hamper which was much appreciated. We made full use of the pool and hot tub and enjoyed a walk round the lakes. will certainly recommend. thankyou

Ivy Cottage was just as it was described. We took advantage of the hot tub too. It was a great base to travel and walk to other places. Marie was very approachable and so helpful, she contacted us before the visit and was responsive to all questions. We didn’t need to contact her during our stay as everything was perfect and all instructions were clear and information was left for us to take advantage of. Perfect stay in a great place!!!

Fabulous! We had 6 days at the Old Piggery and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts are brilliant and the accommodation equally brilliant too. Peaceful location, well kept gardens, lovely hot tub and there was everything we needed at the accommodation. The hosts also left us some lovely surprises/treats too. Very thoughtful! We enjoyed it so much we didn't want to come home and we will be back again in future. Thank you Sue and Phil!

We had an absolute wonderful two-night stay at this cottage! It's lovely, spotlessly clean, and incredibly well-equipped with everything you could need. The welcome gifts were a delightful surprise, and the hosts were so friendly and quick to respond to all our messages. The location is perfect, just a short few minutes drive to the beach. What truly stood out was their amazing hospitality: we accidentally left something behind, and they sent it to us via next-day delivery without hesitation. We can't recommend this place enough!

A perfect holiday cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location. Great views from all the windows and a fantastic garden. It is very warm and welcoming, spotlessly clean, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Welcome treats were a thoughtful touch and Angela has been a great host. Exceeded our (already high) expectations -- one of the best Airbnb rentals I've stayed in!

We enjoyed a great break in Peewit Cottage, which was spotless and had everything you need. The surroundings were well looked after and amenities great. The little touches, including the welcome pack (best we’ve had and included the dog!) and Prosecco and strawberries to enjoy in the hot tub were thoughtful and lovely. All the information you need is provided prior to arrival or readily available within the cottage. We used the cottage as a base to visit local attractions, all easily accessible by car. Glen was both very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend and somewhere we would return to. Thank you, Jacqueline!

A beautiful place to stay and the nearby sights, scenery and attractions are simply breathtaking. The restaurants are out of this world and the beaches, walks, puffin cruise etc were amazing. Had a fantastic stay at Silver Fox Barn. Came for a last minute mid-week break and was not disappointed. Jonathan was quick to organise everything and very detailed with his instructions. The property itself is lovely, modern but very homely feeling with everything we needed and more. Located in a very pretty and quiet area, but still very close to everywhere you'd like to visit in the area. Also went for dinner at one of the recommended restaurants just 10 minutes drive away and not disappointed. We would gladly recommend and return again in future!

The cottage was exactly what was listed and what we were looking for. The Host was always responsive and friendly with many helpful details. If you are looking for a week off-grid then we would definitely recommend the Hemmel, it was everything we needed and more. Our favourite bits were the views, the peacefulness, and the red squirrels running across the stone wall in the garden! We can’t wait to come back again and explore more of Northumberland. Kate was an excellent host who was extremely helpful and very friendly. We based our plans off her comprehensive local guide folder and filled the rest of the time with the wide variety or board games, books, and DVDs!

Just returned home from a lovely stay in the amazing Bartlehill Cottage. Absolutely spotlessly clean and even nicer than the photos. The garden is beautiful and the woodland walk was perfect for our lively terriers! The cottage is so well equipped and lots of thought has been given to supplying pretty much everything you may need. Furnishings and bedding are super quality and very comfortable. Lowri is the most perfect host, helpful and very responsive to messages. It was our first visit to Northumberland and the Scottish Borders and we'll definitely be returning to Bartlehill to do some more exploring!

We've had a lovely week at Mary's Cottage. It is equipped with everything you would need, so cosy, comfortable and dog friendly. It is a perfect base for exploring all around Northumbria such as Alnwick, Alnmouth, Lindisfarne and Bamburgh.There was lots of information leaflets and maps about the area as well.There are local places to go to like Etal, Ford and Heatherslaw Estate and Hirsel Estate (all within 10 minutes drive).There is a local walk called Flodden Fields with great views all around (5 minutes walk away).We would highly recommend this cottage to our family and friends.

We stayed here with 3 children and 3 adults for a 40th birthday celebration. The location is second to none! Absolutely stunning with views of the bay from the back garden - truly gorgeous! The village itself has everything you need. The cottage had a real homely feel and the fireplace, even in May, was put to good use! The beds were really comfy and we all agreed we had a great nights sleep. The living room sofas were welcome after a long day at the beach and the children made good use of the secure garden! The only minor downside is the one bathroom downstairs, with 6 of us, we had to make sure we left enough time to all get ready, but honestly, we appreciated the extra space upstairs for the lack of extra bathroom. The host was super friendly and as there was no one checking in when we left, he gave us the option of a more leisurely checkout time. Would highly recommend! We’ll be back.

We had a great stay at Findara. Lovely cottage to stay in with great decor. Situated in a peaceful location with a secure garden that our dogs could run around in. Lydia gave us some good recommendations for places to visit and eat. Would recommend to stay here.

We loved our week at The Bothy - it was a quiet, cosy base to explore the coast from! The welcome package including AMAZING cake was much appreciated, as was the comfy bed and lovely garden space. Our two dogs loved it too. We felt so at home during our stay, and would love to come back again. Thank you!

This was our second visit to Sarah’s place and it was equally as wonderful as the first. The accommodation was immaculately clean and provided everything needed for an extremely comfortable stay. Sarah’s place is an ideal base to explore this area of Northumberland and Sarah provided an extensive information guide of places to visit and dining suggestions throughout the local area. We cannot recommend more highly and definitely hope to return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at penguin cottage. Absolutely beautiful location, perfect for those who want more privacy/quiet surroundings. The cottage was cleaned to a very high standard, had all the needed facilities, and we very much appreciated Laura providing milk, shortbread, coffee etc. Would happily stay again.

We loved our stay! The house was easy to find and check in was easy. The house was clean and had great decoration. The beds were comfy, and the kitchen well stocked with utensils and appliances. The private back garden gets wonderful morning sunshine, and we were lucky enough to have good weather to enjoy the patio furniture. Katie and Craig were promptly communicative and answered our WiFi question within minutes. Would recommend to anyone!
