Cheerful New Cottage Style Family Mountain Getaway

Centrally located in the rebuilding town of Paradise. Every home on our street was lost in the 2018 Camp Fire. We are the fourth home to be rebuilt on the street. There is new hope for this small mountain community. Decorated in a cozy cottage look with comfortable beds and everything you need in our stocked kitchen. Excellent internet and a smart TV . There is an outdoor table for and gas grill. Our local marina, Line Saddle, has boat, paddle board and kayak rentals for a day on the lake.

This cottage was completely remodeled in 2020. It sits on the back of our property and backs up to an orchard. The property is over an acre. It is quiet and peaceful. You will find fruit trees, grapes, a garden and chickens. The chickens roam the property during the day. You may hear a rooster in the AM. There is a covered patio and fire pit to enjoy the evenings in Chico. If you like to cook outdoors there is a gas BBQ & pellet grill/smoker. It is 1.8 miles from Chico State and Downtown.

What a wonderful stay at Michelle‘s place. It is quiet, isolated, and in the middle of some beautiful foothill country. The house was absolutely wonderful, roomy, modern, comfortable and very clean. Michelle was so helpful from check in, to arrival, during our stay and upon checkout. The home is a bit off the beaten path and about 30 minutes from Thunderhill Raceway where we were riding but that is its beauty, quiet and peaceful and surrounded by rolling hills, oaks and no shortage of wildlife (birds, cows, horses). Thank you again Michelle for allowing us to visit and stay in such a lovely home and locale. We’ll be back.

Great space. Small but well proportioned. The coffee maker was a bit vintage but worked well. It was great an easy and super smooth place to stay. I was the knucklehead that forgot his toothbrush but there was one on hand to keep me covered. Thanks!

it was a great place to stay, very clean room and bathroom, kitchen was nice and full with all the necessary stuff. i like all the environment around the place. 5 star to everything. i recommend this place. only minor thing i want to mention that back door doesn’t get locked from inside, other than that i am happy with the experience.

This was a great place for a family graduation event. We came on Wednesday. Gaby was willing to let us arrive early which was very nice. The only time we left the house was to go to the actual graduation! We cooked, played and visited the rest of the time. We had ten guests so the place was full, but not crowded. There was plenty of room to cook and to sit and eat as a group. People used the pool during the day, sunbathed, and sat out under the umbrellas. We enjoyed the pool table and the arcade game. It was a very special time for us as everyone was able to come to Savannah's graduation. This place made it possible!
