Waterfront holiday rentals in Bayfield County

Such a great location! We just visited Applefest and the Annex is only 11 minutes away. We absolutely loved walking down to the beach, it’s a little private walk down the hill to a secluded beach with beautiful rocks and sea glass. The Annex #1 was the perfect size for two people, and so clean. We will definitely be back next year!

Such a peaceful stay. It felt like being in a tree house. Lake views from the bedroom and forest views from the living room. Would stay here again for sure. You could hear the people in adjoining apartment shutting cabinets and talking (I’m sure they could hear us) but still 100% peaceful.

This place was awesome! The hosts were very responsive and prompt to answer questions and accommodated us last minute. The views of the lake are amazing and the sandy beach was so relaxing. This place is serine! This place has everything you need for amenities. Close proximity to everything and Bayfield was about a 5 min drive. Thank you so much for a wonderful visit! We will definitely be back.

An incredible space at the end of a private drive, overlooking the lake. The space was warm and welcoming, literally and figuratively! Loved the front sitting room with floor to ceiling windows to sit and sip coffee and enjoy the views. The proximity to the neighboring Houghton Falls preserve was enjoyed using the trail on the property. Peaceful, relaxing, made use of the large fire pit outdoors with the lake in the background. Close enough to town if you forget something and need to run in real quick, otherwise peaceful privacy to enjoy nature and the beautiful surroundings.

We stayed in Jim's and Pearl's Fedora suite and had a wonderful time! Their place was clean, comfortable, and relaxing and was right on the lake. We really enjoyed spending time each day either sitting on the porch or down by the lake, reading or watching the various boats going by and using the firepit. We found the location extremely convenient, only a couple of minutes from Bayfield. Jim and Pearl were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always willing to chat or answer questions about the unit or the area. We would love to stay there again! If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

We arrived at the house in sub zero temperatures and were very happy to be inside the house with the wonderful radiant heated floors. Warm and cozy! Comfortable beds and warm blankets made for restful nights. The view of the bay is beautiful. Moon rising over the horizon reflected on the ice . We heard Great Horned Owls hooting in the distance. Next visit we hope to come in the summer or fall to walk around more and see the lake. Thanks again!

This is our second time staying here- once again an overall great experience. Cash is a helpful and communicative host. This place was perfect for ice fishing/snowshoeing and family time.

Staying at Jeff and Susan’s was as easy as it gets— smooth check-in, beautiful location with wildlife out the back door (deer routinely passing through the yard), timely responses to questions, and minimal checkout process. Plenty of spices and cookware to feel like a home away from home. Home was very clean and watching the sunset over the lake from the living room never got old. Will certainly be staying here again!

The retreat on the lake was a beautiful place to spend a few days. We were there in the winter, and it was a nice cozy atmosphere to be in. The lake is beautiful, and there are beautiful walking trails in the neighborhood. There is a nice little community beach which would be great in the summer. The modern lake house was an amazing experience. The beautiful surroundings and peaceful setting made it perfect for a weekend getaway. The house was very equipped with many modern conveniences and easy to feel right at home. The house was spotless and clean, the bedrooms super comfortable and the layout was great for a group stay. Peter was a friendly, generous and very communicative host. He had great suggestions and sent very helpful instructions for local spots or recreational ideas. I would definitely book a stay again. It was especially fantastic in October for fall colors!

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. The property is beautiful, with gorgeous views of Lake Superior from multiple rooms, including the huge windows in the living room. The house is clean, comfortable, and truly has everything you could ever need— I think it’s better stocked with kitchenware than my own home. The house is remote enough to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough to town to quickly run and grab something if you need. The house is remarkably wheelchair accessible, with a ramp to enter and a bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in shower on the first floor, which meant we were able to take my disabled mom with us on a wonderful winter getaway. Katie was friendly and responsive to my questions, going above and beyond to make us comfortable. Thank you so much for sharing this special place!

Amazing location in a great small town. Was here for a wedding & it was the perfect place very close to everything you need or want!

This place was incredible!! Location was top notch, the amount of beds provided a ton of flexibility for us, the living spaces were lovely, and the view and the deck were amazing! Beyond that, staying here was extremely comfortable. Thoughtful to have extra blankets on the cold days, fans in the bedrooms for sleep, a fresh sponge and hand towels, all the essential kitchen equipment and it wasn’t overused, there were extra linens/paper towels/TP/trash bags, and the space felt well taken care of. This felt like someone’s home and definitely we plan to go back. 10/10 would recommend!

We appreciated the location and the pleasant apartment. Good supply of towels, comfortable bed, and anything we wanted in the kitchen and bathroom. Lots of suggestions about things to do and places to eat. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a great time and the condo is right on the lake with a beach. It is in Bayfield and everything Bayfield has to offer is in walking distance. The condo is clean and cozy. This was my second time staying at this condo and I would stay here many more times to come.

The place was exactly as pictured and the location was perfect. It was a walkable distance from everything in Bayfield. Very beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Erin was communicative and very clear regarding check in instructions!
