Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bay View, Milwaukee

Great place to stay! Restaurants, bars and shops are all walking distance from the place. More importantly, since you're basically in a downtown of a city, they have free parking! There is a secluded parking spot behind the Victorian you're staying in. Immensely helpful since most locations in a downtown city don't provide parking, you have to pay to park at a lot or leave your car on the street and cross your fingers. Inside Jose and his wife did somethings you don't realize how much you appreciate until you see them. Example, all the light switches were clearly labeled so you know what goes with what instead of flipping switches hoping to find the right one. The full size stackable washer/dryer made the trip easy. We did laundry before coming home. Best part, if you're using this as a home base to explore, the freeway onramp is maybe 3 blocks from the AirBnB, makes it super easy to get on and off the freeways! We'll be coming back at the end of summer and will stay here!

Rey & Bryans place in Milwaukee was perfect for our group of 6 in town for a baseball game weekend. It was a perfect location in a great neighborhood with a lot to walk to nearby. The place was very comfortable for our group. Would highly recommend!

If i could give Paul and his home 6 stars I would. He was an excellent host. The home had everything and more than our group expected. It was close enough to down town but far enough to feel like we were away from the city.

This cute street is everything you are looking for a peaceful enjoyable getaway! This property is not just a rental property, but a home that is being shared by a wonderful host! The kitchen and backyard are fully equipped beyond expectations. This historical house has amazing charm and very comfortable beds. The backyard is a slice of heaven and a great retreat away. The host is very responsive and was able to tend to any request! I am a property manager with 19 properties in upstate NY and I only wish would be if this house was in my area so I could be part of this wonderful rental.

You would have no idea this place is in Milwaukee. It truly felt so secluded, like you were hours away from downtown. The hot tub, sauna, river right there…might has well been at a resort. Truly one of the most memorable weekends and we can’t wait to reserve another stay with Brad!

Wonderful weekend in MKE! We had nine family members in town to celebrate our son's graduation from Marquette and stayed at the Muse Gallery Guesthouse. Wow - what a perfect place in a great neighborhood! A beautiful well kept Victorian home in the quiet and lovely Bayview neighborhood. Walking distance to great restaurants, coffee shops, brewery, wine bar, used books stores and the famous Collector's Edge comic book store. The Muse Gallery Guesthouse is perfectly subdivided into smaller "suites" but we had the whole house to ourselves and it was fabulous. Bright sunny, clean and comfortable and filled with art from local artists (for sale). If you like feeling connected to the local neighborhood when you travel then we highly recommend the Muse.

Great location with easy in-and-out access. Entering through the side door was seamless, with no flights of stairs to worry about. The lock system was simple to use and made check-in a breeze. Mike was responsive, and the space was exactly as described. The shower was fantastic as well! I would definitely stay here again — I loved it!

The place was exactly as advertised and the host provided all of the information we needed about the place and about the area, like parking instructions, without having to ask. If you're not from the area, you should know it gets loud late on Fridays and Saturdays, but we knew that and it didn't bother us. I would definitely recommend, the location is very central to most things you'll probably want to be doing in Milwaukee.

There are high end amenities throughout. The upgrades in the kitchen are great. My stay was really pleasant and comfortable here. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood and close to all the attractions. The hosts are friendly and responsive. It is worth it to stay here.

Clean and easy place to stay for a trip in the city. The surrounding area is awesome.

Truly a gem near Lake Geneva. Plamena’s place was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to host our families. It was our first time vacationing again after having babies earlier this year and our toddler had a blast. She won’t stop talking about “her toys” at the airbnb. Plamena’s place is also a 5 minute drive to downtown Lake Geneva which was very convenient. Our overall experience was great, Plamena is an amazing host and we look forward to staying with her again in the near future.

We had such a wonderful stay at Abey’s lake house! From the start, Abey was incredibly responsive and flexible, making the entire booking and check-in process seamless. He was warm, genuine, and went out of his way to make us feel welcome—he even left us a bottle of champagne, which was such a thoughtful touch. Communication throughout was excellent. Abey also shared great local recommendations, including restaurants to try, which really added to our experience. He thought of every detail—we especially appreciated the extra propane tanks and firewood he provided for the firepits. It made our time by the lake even more enjoyable. The lake house itself is stunning. While the listing photos are beautiful, they only begin to show how amazing the property is in person. The home is lovely, and the setting is truly special. Watching the sunrise over the lake each morning was a highlight—calm, beautiful, and unforgettable. This was a fantastic getaway, and I’d absolutely love to stay again.

A group of us stayed at this home while in the area for a bowling tournament. We felt very welcome and were able to be comfortable during our stay. We enjoyed all the amenities including the pool, hot tub, and grill. The location was great for if you wanted to go for morning walks and sit out and enjoy the birds, but convenient for trips to the store or any random outings we wanted to do. We all absolutely loved the house and had a great time.

Mette and the other co-hosts were great. We had our micro-wedding here and all of our family loved it. We felt right at home and everyone kept commenting how gorgeous and perfect it was for our event. There was clear communication and amazing flexibility from the hosts. Even through just messaging it was abundantly clear they prioritize their guests and genuinely want you to have an incredible experience! There aren’t enough stars to give for our experience 😊. It was off the charts!
