Lovely home, very comfortable, very clean, beautiful views

It’s a very clean and well equipped cottage! We love that all the bedrooms and the bathroom are on the same floor! Spacious living room and kitchen area as well!! Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the house, surroundings and hospitality offered at this home! The Oceanfront location is gorgeous and there is a nice little hike walking distance from the house. We spent the morning hiking and the afternoon just sitting ocean side watching the waves and birds in the amazing grassy yard! The house itself is well stocked, clean and extremely comfortable. The great room views are incredible and everything about this house is set up for comfort! Great stay and would love to return for a longer stay in the future!

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay. We could make day trips to hike, experiencing nearby communities and return to Upper Island Cove for an evening just steps away from the water. This place is filled with artwork and artifacts, interesting details and has thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces that made our stay. Lisa was a fantastic host and we could it have asked for more. And Newfoundland is so worth the trip. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We felt like we moved into a beach house for the weekend! There was nothing missing and everything was available to make us feel at home from tea bags and hot chocolate, to big beach towels for the hot tub, to a hammock swing by the pond, to door to a private area on the deck from the master bedroom... it was incredible. The size of the land alone was worth every cent we paid, let alone amenities provided, service/communication provided, and the beautifully decorated and cozy beach house vibe. The host, Jeremy, is very clear with instructions, responsive, and helpful. He gives his guests a short (2 page) House Manual that have answers to pretty much every question we had. What wasn't provided, we asked Jeremy and he responded in a timely and polite manner, solving any "issue" (no issues, just cannot think of another word.)

Top 3 Airbnbs among the dozens we've stayed in across location, design, thoughtfulness, comfort, amenities to a point where we almost debated changing our flight to stay a day longer! the guide book they've created was the cherry on top!

Danielle's place was as described, had beautiful views and just very cute overall. Ceilings were low and floor a bit slanted but all was described before booking. If we ever find ourselves on the east coast again I would book with Danielle. She replied fast and was informative. I would recommend this booking!

Cheryl's place was perfect for our last-minute stay. It was sparkling clean and even smelled fresh, which I worry about from a pet-friendly spot. Brand new deck for relaxing. The suite has plenty of room for two people. It was easy to find and in a lovely position right on the harbour. Not many restaurants nearby but it was a quick and direct trip back to Dildo to the brewery for supper. Best of all, Cheryl was a considerate and responsive host.

We were in town for a wedding and this was the prefect place to stay. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. The Host is fantastic and eager to help with things if needed.

When us five ladies opened the door we were blown away by the lovely modern accommodations. Great quality beds, linens, towels, and lots of extra amenities. Everything was very tastefully done. Highly recommend this as an excellent place to stay.😁😁😁

The location was perfect. Beautiful view on Bell Island and the Atlantic ocean, beautiful sunset view, 15 minutes away from everything. Sarah was a great host and was super responsive along with giving us recommendations of things to see. We also had some of the fresh eggs her chickens had to offer for breakfast every day which was a delight. I recommend this stay for the view, the hospitality and the overall feeling of not having to stress about anything. Will come again.

Great stay, clean and lots of space

I enjoyed very much staying for three weeks with my family and our two pets at Veronica’s place. We got spacious, clean, nice accommodation along with beautiful nature and ocean. Last but not least, Veronica is kind, responsive, interesting person to talk. We highly recommend this place for anyone who wants peaceful and calm staying.

The space very clean and private. Instructions were informative and easy to follow. Loved how everything was labeled for easy functionality

The most beautiful location for a family gathering, such as ours. The cookhouse was an unexpected surprise and gave the boys a place to enjoy. The roomy layout allowed for a very successful get together and your outdoor spaces and hot tub were a true success. Perfect location for daily activities along the Avalon coastline, would love to return. Thank you Crystal & Wayne
