Beachfront holiday rentals in Bay Islands Department

Jennifer and Tommy were amazing host, arranged pick up at airport, greeted us when we arrived and provided numerous helpful suggestions. Loved sitting on the porch drinking our morning coffee watching macaws and hummingbirds forage in nearby trees. Snorkeled every morning at turtle bay saw many species of fish, rays, lobsters. Loved taking the water taxi to West bay and West end. Highly recommend the fire show at Bannarama on Sunday it was amazing. So many great restaurants to choose from. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Thank you again Jennifer and Tommy, looking forward to returning again someday.

Josh has basic accommodations but they are clean, walking distance to the ferry, restaurants and shops. It is a diver's haven so if you're into SCUBA, this is the place! Josh is a very nice man and made us feel completely welcome. Be aware Main Street, Utilia is a very busy place.

Husky Hideaway Apartments are a wonderful place to stay!! Caroline was extremely helpful before and during our stay with helping us organize activities and a driver. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and it was a GREAT location; close enough to walk into town for diving, shopping, and restaurants, but just far enough away that it was very quiet from the “main strip” hustle. We would definitely stay here again! We are not “resort people” and this was perfect and homey and allowed us to really have a comfortable place to come home to after diving and exploring!

Second stay at Anke’s with no issues. My children were delighted again by the different options to entertain themselves even without supervision. Locals are friendly and helpful to provide you information about the local settings. Anke and her son Andrés are always available to assist. Nice, quiet and beautiful. Looking forward to come back again next year. Highly recommended.

Me and my family really enjoyed staying at this exotic, tropical, fun, and beautiful place. The backyard was the ocean, and it was a really nice place to kayak/standup paddle board which they provided. Also in the backyard there is lots of shells and snorkeling opportunities. The rooms have really nice beds and bathrooms and had a homey feeling. The kitchen was really big and fully loaded with every kitchen supply you need. Me and my family would love to stay here again!

There were a couple hiccups upon arrival with the Útila staff to have the space ready for us, (people had just checked out). Once the space was ready for us, it was absolutely amazing. There is no better location on Utila. Angel was fantastic, Laura was very responsive and a great host. Would highly recommend Sandy Bay Beach House to anyone.

Very comfortable, we had a balcony that we could people watch on West end road. The kitchen was very modern even tho we didn’t use it. I will definitely stay there again. For the price it was money well spent

Our stay was amazing! We loved every minute of it. Stephanie made sure we were well taken care of and was very attentive. The ocean front view is stunning! The house was very clean and organized. I highly recommend staying here if you want a beautiful relaxing and private getaway.

Loved this place! By far my best experience I’ve had on Airbnb. Bruce’s condo is by far the best place in all of Infinity Bay Resort! You can’t beat the location. Top of the line amenities and furnishings. One of a kind place that will blow your mind. 10 out of 10 🙌🏻. Totally recommend! Can not wait to return. Way to go Bruce.

Awesome place to stay in West end for a dive trip! It's secluded off the main strip but is still a 5-minute walk from everything. It's so quiet and peaceful at night with a private dock. The hosts were very responsive and the place was super comfortable and clean. Highly recommend and will stay here again for my next dive trip!

This house was AMAZING!! The perfect quiet location, incredibly clean, and felt very safe. The house was well stocked with all the amenities, had excellent AC and was meticulously maintained, we would absolutely stay again!

The home is even more stunning in person than in the photos. The master bedroom is spacious and gorgeous, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The downstairs bedrooms are a bit darker, but our kids didn’t mind at all—they absolutely loved their space. One of the highlights of our trip was being able to snorkel right off the front of the house, which was an amazing experience. We also booked a snorkeling trip with Joe, who picked us up right from the house by boat and took us to swim with nurse sharks—an unforgettable adventure! The road leading to the house is unpaved, but we had no trouble getting there in a small SUV—just take it slow. The airport is about 30 minutes away, and Eldon’s grocery store is a convenient 15-minute drive. Dave, the property manager, was always nearby and super helpful whenever we needed anything.

We loved our stay here! It was great to have the space of a condo but be able to use the amenities of the resort. They also offered us housekeeping services which was so great. Also had a full kitchen,fridge. The beach club was a 3 min walk and a great spot to hang out with food and drinks. Easy to get water taxis to west end to and from their private dock. We did lose water/power for a few hours. But they communicated well. But overall such a great spot. We will be back.

Perfect house with a gorgeous view! Just right for our family of four. Loved the space and enjoyed all the outdoor amenities. Pool was lovely. Will definitely be back!

TRIP OF A LIFETIME! WOW! Just WOW! What can I say about Fort Morgan Cay, Islas de las Bahía and Mark & Julie that has not already been said? The island is breathtaking! Exactly like the photos but better! The staff is A+! The food was fresh & delicious! Mark was our host as Julie was sick during our stay in Feb 2024 and I feel like we made a lifetime friend even though we will probably never see him again, lol. His service did not skip a beat. He was extremely communicative prior to and during the trip. We always knew what to expect and were well informed. We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday here and I paid for almost ALL of the extras...sand sculpture, fire dancers, fireworks, snorkeling at Pigeon Cay, tour of local villages and mangroves, day tour of Roatan...Trust me it's worth it! We had such a nice stay at Salome's place in Palmetto Bay. The pool was fantastic for our family of 5 adults and two small children. The house was even larger than we expected and had a very well-stocked kitchen where we made many meals. Salome was very helpful with recommendations, including for some babysitting. Palmetto Bay is quiet and peaceful. We did lots of swimming off of the dock and some snorkeling on the east end of the bay. We would absolutely stay again.

Ryan’s place is peaceful, private and clean. It is on a part of the island that is beautiful and less traveled The road down to the water can be a bit of a challenge I would recommend a vehicle suitable like a jeep The kitchen is well equipped and has everything. Buy food and personal supplies before you get there. The property manager Kendra is fluent in English and extremely helpful.

The hostel is the sort of rustic, laid-back place we were looking for. We liked walking, even in the slippery mud after rain. We loved the gang of friendly pets. Our hosts were responsive and shared great stories about themselves and the island. They checked in about our arrival plans and gave us a boat ride to the ferry for our departure. The views are fabulous, the house is spacious, and we had everything we needed to cook and relax. This is no resort; it is a little rough around the edges and not perfectly matching the listing. It is a place to expect the unexpected: we experienced a short power outage, troubleshooting with the water system, less than perfectly reliable internet, and even an earthquake! We were glad we arrived with a few groceries as things are sparse in Savannah Bight. The hotel next door had great food and a trip to Mangrove Bight offered a few more options. The hostel was well supplied with Salva Vida for purchase!

The beach was pristine, fly fishing in your front yard! The host was very attentive to whatever request you had! The kayaks were top notch!

A wonderful setting for a memorable vacation, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Caribbean! A great spot to be as active or as relaxed as you like. Trish is a wonderful host and is very accommodating along with her amazing crew.
