Waterfront holiday rentals in Batu Ferringhi

We stayed here for a month and had a great time. The beach view was great and we had live music from the beach bars and fireworks each night (for more than 4 weeks). Maybe that had to do with Chinese New Year, but it actually went on after CNY as well. Communication was excellent, there was a helpful representative who was almost always nearby and ready to assist with some very small issues we had. The security guys were very friendly to our kids and would accept packages that were delivered for us when we were out. The only significant point of improvement I see is that a bit more attention should be paid to the cleaning.

I'd give more than five stars if AirBnB would let me. We felt really at home, and would unequivocally recommend the place. Siew Lin is an amazing host, flexible, helpful. The place is great. It's bigger than it looks in the pictures; there are two fully-fitted bathrooms, each with a shower; a great kitchen that is fully equipped; washing machine and a drying rack on the beautiful balcony; everything to feel like home... The location is also perfect. In the building complex there's a fully-stocked supermarket (downstairs and across a covered walkway, 3 minutes door-to-door), great restaurants, a beautiful pool that is always empty, a gym, great surroundings... We also like the geography in the city, nestled (somehow extremely quietly) between Georgetown and Tanjung Bungah!

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The sea view was absolutely stunning, it was my favorite part of the stay. As someone who finds peace and healing by looking at the ocean, this view truly touched my heart. My family also really enjoyed our time there and felt very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at this this place.The space was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The bathtub was a great feature—perfect for unwinding in the evening. But the real star of the show was the ball pit! The kids absolutely loved it and spent hours playing, laughing, and having the time of their lives. It was such a unique and fun addition that made the whole stay extra memorable. This place is a fantastic choice for families looking for a stay that’s both relaxing for adults and exciting for kids. Airlevate suite has a beautiful waterfront view of the harbour and across the road to a park area. There are nearby walkable hawker centres and not too far by Grab to Georgetown and other areas of Penang. The apartment was spacious, nice natural light. The host provided clear check in instructions and there were no issues.

I love this homestay. You won't need to bring extension cord. They had numbers of sockets installed, with a good placement too. Overall a good stay. Thank you Mr Ashraf!

I would say if you have a huge amount of people this is a good place to get away from the city. Most of the amenities are available right here. A really great spot to view the beach which is just right outside the house and a great bonding session in this house!

We had a really good stay here! The place is great for groups because every room has its own bathroom and TV, which gave everyone some nice private space. Each room also has 2–3 sockets, so charging our stuff wasn’t a problem. The water pressure in each bathroom was totally fine too. The owner was friendly and quick to reply to messages and calls. He even let us try the KTV room for free! Only thing is, there’s just one master gate card, and you need it to keep the electricity on in the house. So if you're with a big group, someone always has to be around to open the gate or door if people come back at different times. Kinda inconvenient, but not a huge deal. Also, the noise cancellation isn’t perfect. We could hear water running from upstairs and some talking from outside. But honestly, it didn’t bother us much because having our own private space mattered more. Overall, it was a comfy, fun stay with great service. Would definitely recommend it for families or groups of friends!

Recommended place to stay which is quite centralised. Easy to move around and the house is in pristine condition. The stairs quite manageable and there are plenty kitchen utensils provided including mineral water. Love the location and really appreciative on the clear guideline given for easy check-in.

We stayed at Wendy & Sharon's for a month and we will come back again. It's well located and perfect for trips to Gurney Drive, George Town & Batu Ferenghi by bus or grab. Local bars and restaurants at Straits Quay are great. There is noise from those bars and you can hear the music as others have said, some nights louder than others, but it's always finished by midnight and we are ok with it. The hosts are responsive and helpful if and when required, enhancing a great holiday break.

Our stay at Cecilia's condo was for 2 months, so it quickly became our little home away from home. Everything met our expectations as per the description of the condo. The bed and livingroom furniture are comfy and the kitchen is well stocked with supplies and cookware. We used the stove daily for light cooking and there are two fridges which helps if you stock up on groceries. We loved the nature surrounding this condo and the regular visits by the monkeys. They instantly became the highlight of our stay, for sure. The sea view is also beautiful. There were plenty of cargo and cruise ships to watch, as well as the fishing boats that arrive early every morning. We chose not to rent a car. This location is very doable without one. We used Grab to get to and from Georgetown for shopping and touristy things. Overall, Cecilia's home is a wonderful stay for anyone looking for a natural setting, quiet, and of course monkeys! Had an amazing stay! The hosts were incredibly responsive and always available whenever we needed anything. The only downside was the long wait time for the lift, but that was a minor inconvenience compared to everything else. Would definitely recommend this place! 😊

Great place to stay with a bunch of friends =) Hopefully the car park can be improved soon because it smells bad and looks flooded. Other than that, it's all good. Walkable distance to restaurants and shops.

Lim is a fast-responding and responsible owner. We are truly enjoying our family trip in his neat and cozy unit.

The hosts are very responsive to our requests (e.g providing tissue papers). When we first checked in, the bathroom drainage was clogged up so the hosts even paid for the housekeeper to come and cleared the drain. Although the house cleanliness was not at its best, but the hosts are kind enough to fulfil our requirements 👍🏻 Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay in this 3-bedroom Airbnb! The spacious living room boasted a lovely view, and the fully equipped kitchen was a huge plus. The location was super convenient, with Gurney Paragon just a 15-minute walk away, and a nearby hawker center for easy dining. One minor drawback was that one bedroom didn't have an outdoor view, but it was still acceptable. The only other thing that could use improvement were the bath towels, which felt a bit worn out. Despite these minor issues, we'd definitely recommend this place for its great location, amenities, and parking lot. We'll definitely come back and stay again!
