Very nice, clean place to stay in Ruvo. Really comfortable and close to the train. I was only there one night but it was perfect for my situation. The only drawback is wifi only works in the main room so if you want to play on your phone or ipad while you’re lying bed, you won’t have service.

We had a lovely stay at Manuela's. She is a very welcoming person who receives in her peaceful and charming place. The place is representative of what an Airbnb rental should be, i.e. welcome, small touches that facilitate arrival, daily presence and personalized, authentic home. Manuella communicates very well in French: constructive exchanges. Always good advice, Manuela also knows how to be discreet in this accommodation where the houses are glued and share common spaces. The location is ideal for visiting Matera and the coast near Bari by car. We 100% recommend Manuela

We were very well received in Mrs. Tina and Mr. Vittorio's house, very polite, kind and helpful people. They welcomed us warmly, explained the characteristics of the apartment well, they made us find the necessary for breakfast and the basic things they needed in the house. Stayed for Christmas we were very happy to find the house decorated. The apartment is large, very comfortable in a quiet location, with ample parking. There is a bus stop for the center right outside the house, 300 m away there is a well-stocked bakery and two supermarkets, a pharmacy, a tobacco bar, and a grocery store. Too bad that having stayed in winter, we could not take advantage of the beautiful pool and garden. We recommend this apartment for staying in Matera. Next time we come to Matera, we will gladly return to Domus Angela

We had a lovely stay here – the pool is absolutely amazing, our 12-year-old spent most of his time in it! We loved our little house as well – it had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Annapaola was a great host, really helpful, and so easy to get in touch with if we had any questions (Domenico was brilliant too!), and very quick to respond. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed a boat trip one day, which Annapaola recommended. The town is great fun at night, and there are supermarkets within 5-10 minutes drive. Thank you for a great holiday :)

Could use a long list of words to describe the location and Matera. Stunning is the right one. Location is breathtaking. You feel like you are simply part of the stones.

Raffaele is a very considerate, attentive and caring host for the well-being of the guests he welcomes. The outdoor area is beautifully arranged for relaxing in the afternoon sun. The site is private and fenced. Perfect if you come with a dog. A beautiful place in a typical village.

This small typical apartment is very charming and ideally located in a small courtyard set back from the passage. Communication with the host went very well, as well as the check-out and check-in procedures. The accommodation is well equipped. We loved Matera!

Luciano is awesome, the apartment is awesome, and Matera is awesome. We stayed for 6 nights and loved every minute! The view of the Sassi from the small balcony is something we spent hours enjoying and will never forget. It was fun to stay in a cave and yet enjoy modern amenities. Luciano left us great reading material about Matera and made excellent recommendations for food and sight seeing. We would not hesitate to stay again if we are lucky enough to come to Italy again. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mirella’s home, and she is an incredible host! From the moment we stepped through the door, we felt completely at home. The house is inviting and cozy, with a spectacular outdoor terrace that makes it the perfect retreat. The views and location are amazing—just steps away from our favorite beach, and an easy drive to several other beautiful beaches. We truly felt like we discovered a hidden gem and can’t wait to return!

The most hospitable host imaginable. Cosimo was so friendly and welcoming. He shared so many local recommendations and went above and beyond in every aspect of ensuring we had a comfortable and wonderful stay. A host that truly wants his guests to feel at home. The property was clean and very-well located just outside the Sassi. You will be happy if you choose to stay at Cosimo's place!

The place is great and as described. The view is spectacular and you have everything you need in the house and for us as a small family it was perfect. But you have to remember that it is an old house and not everything is super modern like in a hotel. For us, that was not a problem and we felt very comfortable. When we sent messages to the host, we always received a response within a very short time and a solution was immediately found for a minor problem that occurred. We would like to thank Luca for his hospitality and support and if it turns out one day that we make another stop in southern Italy or go on vacation, then we will choose this accommodation again!

Beautiful spacious apartment for 6 people about 5-10 minutes walk from the historic center of Matera. Quiet environment and easy to park. Pietro is very welcoming and gives good advice! Listing worth recommending!

Angela is an amazing person, the accommodation offered is superb, the place is quiet and restful, the pool is a real plus, and the garden with sunbed and hammock is great. Angela recommended us restaurants that were divine, where we were welcomed great, she had even booked for us! In short, go there without a second thought! Big favorite for Malaika and especially Nana, her dogs who are so adorable!

Relax and enjoy the many treasures of the tower and the surroundings. Ruvo de Puglia is a pleasant and authentic town, from where you can discover Puglia. We had the pleasure to sight a fox regularly and the many sounds of nature in the orchard were enticing. We used many herbs from the garden when cooking. Alessandra provided us with information about the herbs and nature in the orchard. Alessandra was a fantastic host, very informative and responsive. Our holiday was two weeks, during which we enjoyed ourselves more and more.

It's a perfect place to stay for big group. Large kitchen, dining area and living hall. Giovanni had been a great host. Prepare breakfast every morning and responsive host. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Matera & Alberobello area.

There were two of us traveling with a baby and we felt extraordinarily comfortable. Maria was super friendly and helpful. The village is really wonderfully located and in spring summer certainly perfect for numerous day hikes or by car to the sea. Bar, Marcellaria, Pizzeria, Alimentari all available. In the sunshine you have a wonderful view up to the coast and sometimes to Lipari. The municipality of Tortorella is generally super hospitable and if you want you can even have homemade food brought into the accommodation. We had really nice and cozy days despite winter. Maria was always available for questions, tips, etc. You can tell that you care about the place itself.

Possibly the warmest welcome I’ve had at a holiday let. The house was utterly charming, very clean and central location to our days out. Very big pool and lovely large outside space with private off street parking. The kitchen is small but very well equipped. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

a loving, extraordinary accommodation. You are in a lush, healthy landscape, in the middle of a rustic mountain village. Wonderfully quiet, the terrace is a heavenly oasis with a lovingly designed small pool. The bathroom and the apartment are designed with attention to detail. It is important to know that there are steep little alleys and you have to be good on foot.

Lovely stay in a nice holiday village. Lots of thoughtful little details including food and drinks for us when we arrived and mosquito coils for the outside space.

The apartment was spacious and very well equipped. It has everything you would need for a short or long stay. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The pool, balconies, parking, and outdoor barbeque/kitchen area were ideal. It's a short drive to beaches and attractions but the views and peaceful surroundings are better than being in a town. The host and staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this property.
