A most beautiful and quiet place and a experienced helpful host. The cabin needs to reached by foot crossing a suspension bridge over the ojo creek. Beautiful. Dave said to read instructions before coming. That is really important. We loved the place and enjoyed every moment. There is a pavilion also reachable via a short walk with a full kitchen and excellent WiFi if needed. Trails are on the grounds to stroll or hike in walking distance. Simply magical! Possibly the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. The pictures (which are good!) don’t do it justice. The property is gorgeous. The unit itself is immaculate and so well thought out. You don’t want for anything and there are even nice surprises like coffee, tea, Cliff bars, and filtered water. The bed is luxurious in size and the quality of the bedding. But most importantly, Anastacia and Robert are tremendous hosts. They are both incredibly warm, welcoming, and generous with their time and knowledge of the area. I felt utterly at home and cannot wait to return.

Annie’s place is so dreamy. I rented for a week as a solo work retreat and it was perfect. You feel super remote and the views out of the house of the mountains are beautiful. The house is so aesthetically pleasing, minimal but cozy, airy, and wonderful light. The bathroom with soaking tub felt luxurious. The location and house itself were perfect for getting work done but providing opportunities to relax and ground in nature. My pup enjoyed sniffing around outside and going exploring at local spots. One note (not a complaint, I loved this but useful for others to know): the main bedroom faces east with a big window and no curtain so the sun comes steaming in in the morning and is very bright. If you’re trying to sleep in or light sensitive, bring an eye mask!

Gaye’s place in Abiquiú is an absolute gem. I’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs and this is by far the best experience I’ve had. The views and scenery are truly magical. The sunrise, sunset, warm northern New Mexico breeze, and incredible peacefulness can’t be matched. Gaye’s attention to detail inside the home is incredible. The beds and linens are wonderful, the kitchen is fully stocked with lots of added touches that make you feel at home. From the hot tub, to the propane patio fireplace, to the gas grill, to the patio rockers and Adirondack chairs, we were in heaven. Please note, that Gaye’s place is remote, which she explains in her description. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing, getaway then this is the place for you! We will definitely be back!

This is the fourth place we’ve stayed at on the mesas and it is the most stunning. Salina thought of everything from the well-stocked kitchen to the latches that hold the doors in place on a breezy morning, to the chairs in the front hall closet, and the kayaks on the side of the house. The attention to detail is impeccable. We loved every minute taking in the views from the picture windows in the living room. Even on a rainy day I could watch storms roll over the lake for hours. It is truly a spectacular place. I’ll be counting the days till we come back next year.

Overall we had a great experience staying at Dave & Lee’s place. The place is small as they mention in the description, but the space works really well in allowing a comfortable stay with great views.. Every photo matched what we were expecting. The location was also great as we were about a 30 minute drive from Santa Fe which was a very easy drive once you hit the highway. If you’re looking to hike, the location of the house is also a short 10 minute drive to Pecos National Park. We did want to note that because the house is located on a mountain, the driveway to the house is very steep which can make walking to and from your car challenging if you don’t have an AWD vehicle to park directly in front of the house. We brought a wagon to help load and unload our luggage which made it easier to carry everything from the alternative parking location up the hill.

This place is a gem! I walked in and felt welcomed into a bright, clean, colorful, beautifully decorated and tended place. It was quiet and peaceful with a delicious cup of coffee in the morning on the deck! The bed was comfortable! Every detail of design was well thought out and inspiring! Thank you! I will be back when I come through!

Amanda’s place is truly a piece of calm and beauty. The river is a short walk and there is a sauna right on the banks of the river where you can dip in for a cold plunge right after 🥶. Amanda is a very welcoming host and made sure I had firewood for my nightly fires on the patio fire pit. The casita is clean and had everything I needed. I will definitely be back.
