Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Barichara

This place was amazing. Location is perfect. Close to everything but in a peaceful location. Olga is incredible and was very patient with her communication as I speak no Spanish. Every morning she would make us a fantastic authentic Colombian breakfast that would start the day right. We came for a wedding and with all the rooms and space, it was the PERFECT place for groomsmen to prepare for a wedding. Jorge was great to communicate with as we were very late arriving and also worked to get me a ride back to airport. Loved it. I will say if you are used to sleeping in very cold conditions, this may be a challenge for you to get used to. That seems to be a common thing in Barichara though.

This place is incredible. The house is immaculate and the views are unbelievable. The photos don’t do Casa Bocore justice; it’s better in person. The host could not have been more attentive. We were always in communication, and he gave recommendations and even a ride in his personal vehicle at one point. Milena, the cook/housekeeper, was excellent. Our breakfasts were delicious each morning, and the place was spotless each time we returned. The house is about one mile from the center of Barichara, which we walked most days or ordered tuk tuks on others. The ONLY downside to the house is the steep driveway, which tuk tuks could not climb with passengers, leading to our walking the steep, long driveway up each time we returned home. Our van upon arrival couldn’t get up the hill, so we had to haul our luggage up by hand. Not a big deal for our group, but could be an issue for elderly or disabled visitors. Overall though, this is the best home with the best host I’ve ever booked online.

The house is very comfortable, clean and complete with everything one needs. Easy access, easy checkout. The location is good, 10 minutes to the central park. The very nice and quiet place.

I stayed with my family, we were 10 people in total, and we had a great time, we were very comfortable. The house is beautiful and quiet, has many accessories and appliances to make the stay very enjoyable. Everything is very neat, clean and the house decorated very beautiful for the season, Christmas. The caretaker of the house very friendly and attentive to the needs or requests of our family. The locations and spaces were very nice has beautiful views, communication with Margarita Vacation Homes was excellent very friendly always responding and giving us recommendations of activities to do, transportation etc. we will definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

One of the best experiences I've had on Airbnb. The stay at Frédérik and Adriana's was excellent. The place is amazing with an impressive view of the valley to enjoy for hours. The pool is delicious. Everything is extremely clean. Peace and quiet where you can only hear the birds (and lizards!) singing The friendliness of the whole family is noteworthy. They were very proactive in recommending places to eat and visit in Barichara and its surroundings. You can get to the center of Barichara by walking in about 15 minutes with some uphill, but it is very accessible. 100% recommended. We'll definitely be back.

My hosting experience was excellent. From the first moment, they give you first-class attention, always attentive to every detail and willing to help in whatever is necessary. The place is comfortable, clean, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. They make you feel at home from the first moment, with a cozy and quiet atmosphere. One of the great charms of the place are the sunrises and sunsets: spectacular views that really make each day begin and end with a feeling of peace and beauty. It's definitely a place I'd love to go back to. Highly recommended!

A beautiful location for the most adorable cabinita overlooking mountains and valleys; you feel on top of the world. It’s about 5km outside of villanueva, but Rito drove us there himself and offered to pick us up too. He went above and beyond as a host, truly incredible experience.

Michael place is great! Very clean and quiet. It is about a 5min drive outside of town which we liked, however, if you are coming on public transport it would be about a 15-20min walk to town. Place had everything you need and was well put together. I would recommend it.

A very cozy cabin, in the middle of the mountains a few meters from the main road and 10 minutes by car from the beautiful Barichara. Ideal for families who like nature and tranquility. We have a quiet private cabin that we could enjoy as a family. Angélica was always waiting to answer all our concerns. We found the place very clean with comfortable enough beds (although pillows could be improved). Undoubtedly an excellent and convenient place to rest and enjoy Barichara and its surroundings.

You have to wait for a good time to heat the jacuzzi, you can ask for a market and to bring it up to the cabin, before leaving everything closed there are animals that can enter, always leave the doors with the stones adjusted since you can hit with the wind, it is not cold inside the house. DO not FORGET TO RECYCLE IS CHARGED IF THEY DO not, is a good example to follow.

It is a highly recommended place, it is quiet and perfect to rest, I would really repeat the experience.

Our stay in Serranía del Viento was only one night but if we were able to stay, we would have stayed a couple more. We took the kindness of Patricia and Álvaro, both were very attentive and loved during our stay and made us feel right at home. The place has incredible views, an offer of varied and very good tasting food, the rooms provide privacy, and comfort and throughout the space you can breathe 24/7 a full air of tranquility and peace. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

Villa Tonita is a country house with a 360-degree view, you can see the sunrise and sunset, you hear the birds, it is airy, nice

My family and I rented the Cuchitril to celebrate New Year, and we all agreed that it was a wonderful stay. We were 15 people a dog and a baby, we stayed for 4 days and we only regret not staying longer. The Photos do not do this Campestre house justice. Walter and Maricel are great hosts. Maricel made sure we were comfortable throughout the stay, prepared delicious food for us and made us feel right at home. The view from the house is wonderful and its surroundings are very quiet. It is also a very cool place for being on the top of the mountain a lot of air runs. The pool is delicious perfect for a group. The kitchen is super well equipped to make any type of food, they have a divine wood-fired oven for pizza! We never missed anything. The bathrooms are like Spa, all showers are outdoors which makes taking a bath very pleasant. THANK you so MUCH for having us. We hope to come back soon! 🧡🧡
