The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place for a little getaway. We are located about 7 miles from Cheneyhatchee Creek boat landing and beautiful Lake Eufaula. We are on a quiet county road that is a safe place to come home to after a fun day on the lake or busy day browsing through the many shops or historic homes in Eufaula. Oh did I mention, we have beautiful sunsets too! If the moon is full, it is just perfect rising above our barn! You just have to come see for your self!

Such a beautiful place! I work remotely and started my days this week sitting in a cozy recliner in the living room watching the sun rise over the lake 😍. Great view of the main lake and a great dock. We were able to drive to the bottom of the hill which made the trip to the dock much easier. BEAUTIFUL porch with hot tub and lots of seating.

Georgia Shores is a lovely, clean, mostly quiet, cabin on the lake. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water with good water pressure. Overall, we had a nice time staying here. Things to note at no fault of the owner: being on a lake there are lots of flying critters. Bug spray may be your friend :) There are three dogs in a pen next door. Best to stay out of their line of sight for peace and quiet.

House was very clean and very well equipped with every little thing needed including some nice extras like warm cookies upon arrival and instant oatmeal and grits available for breakfast. Such a beautiful property that invites walks in the woods and down to the dock. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch in the cool mornings. Perfect place for a get away, highly recommend!

Lake Eufaula Cottage, Couples Getaway, Private!

Really enjoyed our stay at this cozy trailer! The views of the lake were absolutely beautiful, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The place was clean and comfortable, though the single window unit took a while to cool the whole space, especially with the master bedroom, you must leave the door open. Short walk to the lake, perfect for swimming or fishing. Would recommend!
