Holiday rentals in Banana Shire

This was a great place to stay to break a long distance trip. It was quite isolated which was just what we wanted. Loved walking around the large property and meeting the animals. Dawn’s extra touches of home made scones with home made jam & cream, home grown honey and wine were a lovely bonus. Thank you Dawn for your wonderful hospitality

The old School House is beautifully renovated with lots of old charm and very comfortable for our overnight stay. Farm animals in the adjoining paddocks are an extra bonus. Check in was easy and the property is true to description and photos. We arrived in the dark and didn't notice the BBQ and outdoor area till morning, but would certainly use it next time as the Tavern had limited options being a Sunday night.

Gus and i absolutely loved our stay at Cracow Station. Sarah’s cottage is delightful. It’s beautifully decorated and everything has been thought of, even delicious treats for us. The bed was super comfortable too. Sarah was a wonderful host and if in the area, we would definitely stay again. Thank you Sarah ☺️

We had a lovely stay at Denise's place. The house itself was extremely clean and the beds were nice and comfortable. The large enclosed backyard made it great for our kids to run around and ride their bikes. Walkable distance to everywhere in town. 100% recommend staying here.

A beautiful, romantic escape in the heart of nature. Rawbelle was everything we hoped for and more. Nestled on a working organic beef cattle farm, it offered the perfect blend of rustic charm and comfort. We loved watching the kangaroos at dawn and soaking in the stunning surroundings. The indoor fireplace added a magical, cosy touch, especially during the rainy day and night. Carly provided possibly the best sausages we’ve ever eaten and even some eggs! The bath tub was a dream, and the soft linen sheets made it feel like a luxury retreat. Completely private and peaceful – it was the perfect romantic getaway. Highly recommend if you’re after a quiet escape surrounded by nature, with all the little comforts thoughtfully provided. I enjoyed reading all about Rawbelle, Carly and her family in the provided welcome pack but also came across an incredible article in one of the magazines next to the bed which was called, “Galah”. We will definitely be back!
