This house combines everything Luang Prabang is about: Being on the famous peninsula allows you to walk everywhere within a few minutes: Wat Xiengthong, the French bakery and the fabulous Night Market. The house is a beautiful mix between Lao traditional architecture with a lot of charming wood and some more modern and western amenities. With direct street views to the alms giving ceremony every morning, you can watch this spectacle from your own little balcony without even going out.

Very old wooden house that has been rebuilt and RENOVATED in town from a Leu tribe of northern laos. This house is a museum so if you are interested about the culture and architecture, it is a great option. It features 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and toilet and 1 living room with 1 sofa and 1 bed upstairs. Downstairs is the open kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 toilet. IMPORTANT: This house IS NOT MODERN, and has NO MODERN FACILITIES. The roof is made of a particular bamboo and there is NO INSULATION.

Hom's Home in the old town

Homs's Home is located in the center of the old town. Nevertheless, it is very quiet here. The house is just a few steps away from the Mekong River, where there are many cafes and restaurants. From here you can easily explore the old town on foot. The house has a kitchen and an outside seating area. The two are located beside each other but they are separate.The second bedroom can only be reached walking through the first bedroom. There is a door between the two bedrooms.

Little private paradise. We had an amazing relaxing, nature enjoying time here in affordable luxury. Frederic is a very friendly welcoming host, so is everyone working here. The place is spotless with respect for wild nature and so peaceful. The food (European and Lao cuisine) is also amazing (and you can order any time of the day). Get a Loca taxi and come here, it is so worth it! Hikes in the area to a peaceful village, waterfalls, a park and a viewpoint.

The location was perfect next to the river. Fridge, hairdryer and clean. Breakfast was good. The staff very helpful especially Dua. The room needed more lighting. The lamps are very small and this could be impoved upon.

Great stay with Monica who immediately welcomed us, the accommodation is clean and consistent with the photos! I advise you to try breakfast with a wide range of homemade jams for $6. You can take advantage of Mr Hai, a very nice taxi that will make it very available for trips to the train station. The easiest way is to rent scooters on site as the location is quite far from the city center. The ++: the beautiful view of the Mekong Only thing to improve: the transparency of checkout on the additional fees to be paid for breakfasts

We had a really nice stay. Only bad thing was that we didn’t get the room that was in the photos, and having booked it far in advance we didn’t realize until after. Not sure if there was a mix up with reservations or what happened. Our space seemed smaller and not as nice as the pictures. It was a nice building and staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great!

The hosts were very nice and helpful. Possibility to order food at the property. The laundry service was very good. You can rent a scooter there for a good price. Unfortunately, I lost the key to the room, but the host was totally relaxed and we were both able to agree quickly on a solution.

The Bamboo Tree Garden is a great place among the flowers, vegetables and herb gardens, where everything is grown organically. The vegetables and herbs are used in their restaurants in the city that are among the best of Luang Prabang. Linda and her family are great hosts who help you with everything. At the location where we are staying, Linda gives cooking workshops so the food is of course great. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast with homemade freshly baked croissants and chocolate cakes. The rooms are clean, spacious and with shower & bath. It is located a little outside the city, but Linda arranges a taxi and even a guide to visit the city.
