The environment is nice, quiet and further from villages. The accomodation is located on a farm with sheep and horses, the owner has cats inside the house but they are not allowed to access the rented rooms. Gry was nice and helpful in advicing places to see in Tromso.

Thank you very much for having us in your beautiful home Maret. Upon request, some fishing gear and the boat was ready for our use. The sauna was amazing and the house is super cosy and has everything you need. What really put this place on the map for us, was the extraordinary views! Absolutely breathtaking. We loved spending time just chilling together and staring at the view. We will miss it dearly. Maret was super responsive and helpful and friendly. We hope to be back again in the future. Thanks again for everything, we had an amazing time 😊

By renting the little cabin, Marianne and George open the door to their little paradise. In their place you will feel love, real nature and one of the most beautiful landscape ever, even the drive to and from Tromso is breathtaking. For people seeking a true experience in nature this is the perfect place. The cabin is remote, a step back in time, no mod cons and this is it’s beauty. A cosy, warm little haven in the beautiful wild. It is well thought out - all the instructions given by Marianne and George, and noted around the cabin ensure your stay is seamless and answers all the questions you might have - it is important to listen to them, especially as you are in the middle of the wild, responsible for your own warmth and staying in someone’s home. You are stepping back in time, at one with nature. This is a magical place. Marianne and George are kind and welcoming people. In the middle of an area flooded with guides and tourists and impersonal experiences they are a true find. Passionate about nature and the aurora, experts in the region (Marianne is a local). If you’re looking for other experiences whilst staying in the area - they are the perfect people to ask (especially aurora hunting). Going to the cabin is a truly unique experience. We are leaving with stars in our eyes and will definitely return.

Very nice and spacious apartment, lots of space and everything you need for a great stay. Very quiet location and many opportunities to do something to go to Tromsö or Senja. Unfortunately, we did not see the aurora lights, as the weather did not play along, but the hosts can't do anything for that of course. Thanks very much again! We highly recommend this place!

The apartment is wonderful and for those who do not need luxury and enjoy nature great. We looked at the fjord from the living room windows and watched sea eagles, were collecting mussels and meeting wild reindeer. The apartment is very cozy, we felt right at home. We were particularly pleased with the wood stove. Heidi also welcomed us warmly and gave some tips on what to do and look at. That was great :)

The place was nice. We enjoyed staying at the location. We were able to see northern lights from the stay itself.

We were 11 people and went to ski tour. The house is superbly furnished for a large group of skiers with a practical drying room in the basement, a spacious and well-equipped kitchen-living room as well as two large bathrooms and two toilets. The jacuzzi with beautiful view to the fjord has been used a lot. There are numerous ski tours nearby. The northern lights was fascinating. Hovard always responded immediately and helpful to questions. We will recommend the house.

Charles is a truly friendly, reliable, helpful, and generous host. The home is truly equipped with everything you may need. The house is very nice, tidy, comfortable and warm. It is a very quiet and relaxing place with a beautiful view of the sea. Charles was super helpful and gave us a lot of helpful tips.

Elise's house is perfectly and very tastefully furnished. It is very cozy , clean and it has a huge window in the living room from which you have a great view of the fjord. The kitchen has everything you need and the location is perfect for watching northern lights and we had the pleasure of 3 nights in a row. All in all......a 100 percent recommendation......Thanks to Elise for this beautiful place to stay

This was a lovely house with a special spirit (living;-) )in it. An old farm house which feels like visiting your grandma, very cozy, kind and welcoming feeling immediately Beautiful views from the windows,lots of space for our group of a Grandma, a teen, and two kiddos &2 adults. We visited Tromså twice and the 1hr drive is really manageable. Tove was really helpful and responded quickly when we had some issues with the fire alarms. Its also nice to get a break from some of the modern additions to our life: a few days without wifi, dishwasher and whatever else is highly recommended.

We spent a week in this absolutely beautiful and cozy house. The living room is very stylish and cozily furnished, so we could spend many beautiful evenings in front of the fireplace and relax optimally. The kitchen is super equipped with everything you need. The bathroom also very nice with underfloor heating and dimmable light. The quiet and peaceful location on the fjord is unique and looks like a picture book. In addition, we were lucky enough to see the northern lights directly from the house on most evenings. 😍 The hosts Kari & Øystein were extremely helpful, friendly and the communication was impeccable. We would come back any time ☺️🙏🏻✨

We have taken an autumn trip with our family to this house in recent years. Here we are very happy. It is quiet and peaceful surroundings, and the house is cozy and well equipped. There are great outdoor areas, both in terms of the garden, the shore and the forest nearby. Frode is nice to communicate with and responds quickly. We would love to come again and highly recommend the house to others :)

We had a wonderful time in the fantastic house of Vivi- it is as gorgeous as it looks on the Fotos! We loved the beautiful and calm surrounding- a true winter wonderland! Communication with Vivi was quick and easy- we hopefully come back one day!

Helpful host. Beautiful location overlooking mountains and fjord. Beautifully restored old trading post with a combination of preserved details and modern facilities. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space and large well-equipped kitchen, suitable for larger groups. Recommended!

We chose Ingrid's place to enjoy the beauty of the area and it did not disappoint. The house is comfortable, well equipped and very spacious. Some of our group was lucky enough to see a Northern Lights show on the first evening! If you're looking to get away from it all in Northern Norway, this is a fantastic place and you won't be disappointed.
