Just home from a lovely stay at Honors. The house was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It is in a great location near beautiful Ballinskelligs beach (under 15 min walk), reenroe beach with its stunning cliff walk and many more picturesque spots. There is a pub a minutes walk away and well stocked shop a minutes drive away. Our 2 young boys loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay in Niamh‘s Cottage. The cottage is beautifully renovated and well equipped. The washing mashine and dryer were very helpful because we had some very rainy days out there ☺️ Niamh‘s Cottage is the perfect location to explore the Ring of Kerry and the Skellig Ring on your own.

We hebben hier als gezin (2 volwassenen, 3 kinderen 11/9/3) een geweldige tijd gehad. Het huis ligt op een unieke plek: Uitzicht op de oceaan en aan de andere kant de heuvels. Iedere avond genoten we van een spectaculaire zonsondergang vanuit de woonkamer of het terras. En 's nachts van de prachtige sterrenhemel. Het huis zelf is ruim, schoon en comfortabel. De keuken is goed uitgerust (belangrijk, want eetgelegenheden in de buurt zijn schaars), en de open haard gaf extra sfeer. Onze kinderen gaven het huisje ook een 9+ Ballinskelligs is een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen, strandbezoek en een roadtrip over de prachtige Skellig Ring. Onze kinderen vonden het strand op 5 minuten geweldig. Pluspunten: locatie, rust, uitzicht, haard, ruimte, mooie tuin Kleine tip: neem voldoende boodschappen mee – de winkels zijn niet om de hoek. Zouden hier zó weer terugkomen!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. You’ll definitely need a car to get around but it‘s a great starting point for trips all around the coast. The apartment was nicely furnished, especially the bedroom and bathroom. Geraldine leaves a book with pretty good recommendations and they are super responsive when you have a need. We would definitely recommend staying there.

We had a super time in Ballinskelligs. John’s house was warm, spotlessly clean and had everything we could have needed for our two week stay. The beds were comfy and showers were hot. The walk to the strand took 3 minutes and descending onto the beautiful beach by the steps at Cable O’Leary’s was the best part of the day. We spent a huge amount of time at Cafe Cois Trá where the pizzas and live music gave a festival feel, also the Skelligs Sauna and beach yoga with Dani was a super treat. We loved Driftwood Restaurant at Finian’s Bay and there was even great surf throughout our stay. John’s house was the perfect base to explore the area, would definitely return.
