Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Balestrand Municipality

We had such a lovely stay at Bruvoll Feriehus - the home is very cosy with all the amenities for a relaxing, peaceful stay in this beautiful area of Norway. We found the home clean and comfortable. Annike was always friendly and quick to respond to our questions. Check in and out were both easy with clear instructions.

It was so wonderful to stay here that we booked it for our way back while coming back towards Bergen, at the end of our Norwegian roadtrip. Its a really special house with pristine rooms, linens, towels and a spotless kitchen. You can find everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The house is a dream. Erle is a wonderful and communicative host. Do yourself a favor and book this spot. A word of caution though, you might never want to leave. :)

Een wat afgelegen huis van 150 jaar oud. En dat heeft vooral z'n charmes!! Inger is een aardige gastvrouw. Hoewel je misschien de inrichting iets beperkt vind of gedateerd het voldoet prima. Wij hebben het er goed gehad. Laat je vooral verassen door authenticiteit en de rustige plek.

Kristine und die ganze Familie Haugen inklusive Hund Alma sind sehr nette Gastgeber. Wir haben uns in dem schönen Haus sehr wohlgefühlt. Da wir schönes Wetter hatten, konnten wir draußen grillen. Das leckere Fleisch haben wir direkt von Kristine und Odd aus derem lokalen Betrieb gekauft. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundlichkeit! Die Unterkunft ist absolut empfehlenswert!

Maison de campagne d’époque très propre à l’intérieur et bien équipée. Le site est bien et très charmant avec une vue sur les montagnes enneigées et le bruit de l’eau qui s’écoule en cascade. Jannicke est une hôte très accueillante et toujours disponible. Elle est généreuse, elle partage ses connaissances et ses œufs qui sont délicieux. Nous avons aussi fait la connaissance de son père. Ce dernier est aussi très accueillant et a plein d’histoires intéressantes à raconter. Merci Jannicke d’avoir agrémenté notre séjour.

Definetely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and immersive experience into the Norwegian culture and fjords, outside touristic areas. The house is lovely and Guro welcomed us very kindly. Kitchen is well equipped and the living room is big. Preferably stay at least 2 or 3 nights to enjoy the place.

Aurland Fjordhutter is simply magical! Tord met us on arrival, showed us around… we were blown away by the view… it’s as if you have the fjord all to yourself! We weren’t brave enough to dip into the fjord but there’s your own private ladder off the deck into the fjord… As far as the accom itself, it was comfortable, clean, practical and well equipped. The upstairs private and sheltered veranda was the perfect location to watch the sun go down.. We were so glad to have stayed in Aurland vs Flåm (we had a car). To escape the hive of tourists (yes noted - we are too!) to this slice of paradise… so added to our time here! Highly recommend

Die Unterkunft war sehr geschmackvoll im modernen skandinavischen Stil eingerichtet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. In den großen Drehsesseln am Wohnzimmerfenster konnte man den ganzen Tag faulenzen und den fantastischen Ausblick auf Fjord und Berge genießen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wij waren hier een maand met onze twee kinderen van 4 en 2 jaar. Alles was fantastisch. Het huis, de omgeving met eindeloze en toegankelijke wandelmogelijkheden en alle tips en adviezen die we kregen van Sindre en Kari. De enige fout die wij maakten is dat we niet langer hebben geboekt 😅

Es war alles so wie beschrieben in der Unterkunft, es gab keine Beanstandung. Halvard hat immer schnell geantwortet, wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit dort.

Eine tolle Unterkunft in der nichts fehlt! Die Ausstattung war super. Sehr sauber und gut riechend. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Über die Einladung zum Abendessen haben wir uns sehr gefreut 😊. Es hat wunderbar geschmeckt. Herzlichen Dank und liebe Grüße 🤗

Bard's place is an excellent choice for us. Good location and even a great idea driving around to neighboring places. Private, quiet place and clean. The sauna is my plus favorite. Bard has complete amenities in the apartment. I highly recommend.

Really lovely apartment. We didn't have a car so able to walk from hotel where the bus from Voss dropped us off. Ski hire, lifts and restaurants all handy. Everything you need to cook and entertain for a family is provided. Would love to come back, hopefully we'll get better weather next time!

This is a wonderful apartment with stunning views of the mountains and fjord. The location is excellent, right in town, close to amenities, yet very quiet. Kai was promptly responsive when we had a few questions and gave clear instructions. This was definitely one of our favorite places in the world to stay!

We had an Wonderful stay at Torill's place! If you have a car, it's a perfect location--beautiful view and peaceful area away from the tourist crowds in Flam, but close enough to get to the activities very easily... The unit is plenty large with tons of nice touches from Torill to make us feel right at home, and she was very informative, helpful, and thoughtful... We had a very nice meal at the hotel just a short walk up the street (somewhat expensive), and the bakery in town is Awesome! The place is clean, the bed very comfortable, and great water pressure in the shower, which was easy to regulate (although the shower enclosure ties for the smallest we've ever experienced)... Highly recommend booking here if wanting to visit this spectacular area!

This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. It was close to many wonderful places to see and experience. It’s hard to describe the natural beauty looking out in every direction.

Miejsce czyste jak na foto. Proponowałbym jak w cywilizowanym świecie dać pościele i ręczniki wówczas byłoby na 6 gwiazdek. A opłata za prąd rozwala. Proponuje do ceny dodać kilka NOK i każdy będzie zadowolony.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem Haus von Hilde. Die Lage direkt am Fjord ist sehr schön. Das Haus war für uns mit 10 Personen absolut ausreichend groß. Alles war sehr sauber und schön. Das Boot, das zusätzlich gemietet werden kann, ist einfach aber in sehr gutem Zustand und hat einen 20 PS-Motor. Als Angler kann ich sagen: Der Fjord ist ein absolut hervorragendes Gewässer für Makrele und Seelachs. Hilde hat uns zusätzlich tolle Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Danke!

Une grande maison avec une vue magnifique, bonne qualité prix. C’est calme ici et très pratique ! Je recommande fortement !

Et stille og fredelig paradis i vakker natur, men uendelighet av turmuligheter til vakre, gamle sæterstøler og høye fjell.

Stunning location right at the edge of the bay with beautiful views of the sea on one side and steep mountain slopes on the other. Its a nice quiet village with lovely plantations and fields. The house has big glass windows to enjoy the exceptional views. The place was spotlessly clean. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had all the utencils, crockery and all the required kitchen gadgets. There was enough place for the 8 of us to not feel crowded inside. There was enough place to park our 2 vehicles. Every single detail was thought through. The linen and towels were clean. Absolutely nothing I could think of that was missing or not up to the mark. 10/10 for me.

Dette er vårt andre år på Villa Fjellheim i forbindelse med vår årlige skitur. Villaen er perfekt for både store og mindre reisefølger, og er utstyrt med gode praktiske løsninger fra ende til annen. Her er det lett å bo! Villaen ligger idyllisk til med utsikt over Nigardsbreen, og har en sjarmerende atmosfære til avslapning og hygge etter aktive dager i fjellet. Beliggenheten gir også det beste utgangspunktet for aktive dager med skiløyper, turstier og fjelltopper rett utenfor døren! Vertskapet er ryddig og hyggelige, og vi gleder oss allerede til å bo på Villa Fjellheim igjen! 5/5

Très jolie maison bien située (à 45mn de Bergen) ,très spacieuse et décorée avec goût, vue incroyable sur les lacs depuis le salon et la terrasse. Très belle terrasse en hauteur avec jaccuzzi et véranda fermée en cas de mauvais temps. Très bonne communication avec Kaj et Nathalie etprocedure d'arrivée très simple.Eten prime un adorable petit chat très câlin.
