Beach apartment holiday rentals in Balboa Peninsula, Newport Beach

Ted is an extremely responsive host. he answered all questions/concerns promptly and with clear instructions. The unit is clean, in good working order and has lots of room. I travelled with my husband, toddler, parents, brother and sister in law and we all enjoyed our time here. Ted has thoughtfully provided a baby gate, high chair and pack and play. The condo has a full working kitchen including a microwave, toaster and coffee machine and all the cookware and diningware you could need. The unit has air conditioning, fans and lots of windows/doors to keep the unit a comfortable temperature The location is unbeatable, just steps away from 2 beaches. With the one by the Mariana being very kid friendly. We enjoyed our time here and would stay at the unit again if we were to return to Newport.

Catalina island is an absolutely beautiful place to visit. I've been a few times but this time we decided to stay for bday and mother's day for my wife and our two children. Steven's place is absolutely perfect. it sits in a prime location in Hamilton Cove high enough up to get a great breeze and close enough for peek-a-boo views of the ocean. The stairs can be a little much but not nearly as bad as other units as our 3 and a 5 yr old seem to handle it fine and really its to park the cart which was a life saver. My kids loved traveling the island on the cart and looked forward to sitting in the front to watch all the action. The place is exactly as the pictures show and the unit is very comfortable with a beach home feel. we loved our stay and look forward to coming back. Host was super nice and very responsive making our stay a perfect getaway from the hustle of daily life.

5 Stars – A Perfect Getaway with Stunning Ocean Views! We absolutely loved our stay at this ocean view condo and plan on booking again! The location was perfect— peaceful and private yet the golf cart enables you to visit town. The view from the balcony was picturesque, especially at sunrise and sunset. We spent so much time just relaxing out there with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The condo itself was clean, well-appointed, and exactly as described. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals, and the Wi-Fi allowed us to stay connected. The décor was tasteful, comfortable and coastal-themed, which added to the relaxing vibe. Our host, Amber, was communicative, friendly, and provided clear check-in/out instructions which was appreciated. Anna, her assistant was equally as kind as we ran into her check in/out. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home and a charming town to visit.

We love staying here! We have never booked via Airb&b it was wonderful stay as always. This accommodation is fabulous the location is what makes this a real 💎 right across from San Clemente Pier and beach! Excellent indeed! It is easy to park and head to the beach!

Our time in this rental was perfect for what we needed. It was spacious with a good layout, had a great kitchen for cooking and gas BBQ grill that really made it easy. The beds were very comfortable and that is a big plus when staying away from home. We would stay again!

It was extremely enjoyable. Close to the beach. Garage to park our vehicle which gave us a sense of security. The neighbor hood was quiet. Andrew and Kim were both very professional in handling our accommodations from start to finish. They were both very friendly and hospitable. This was the first time we rented an Airbnb. We did hear horror stories from others who have rented an Airbnb. All we can say is if anyone is looking to rent an Airbnb we urge you to look into renting from Andrew and Kim. They have multiple places. We will definitely look them up if we are wanting another Airbnb.

We enjoyed our stay at Sandy's home . Strange to have no disposal. Would very much have enjoyed having more TV channels, especially FOX news.

The two bedroom and 2 bathrooms was ideal for our needs. The complex area was large but it was peaceful and quiet. Having the laundry was a great help due to the length of time we were away from home. We walked to the beach which was beautiful. Kamila was very responsive to any questions I had. Check in was smooth and we liked the fact that we were in a gated community. My husband and I highly recommend Kamila’s Airbnb.

We enjoyed our stay on Balboa Island. My family has rented many homes on the island. This rental was one of the best! Clean, comfortable, great view and quiet! Just what we were looking for!

Location was fantastic and comfortable. All the amenities were spot on and the communication was impeccable!

I came for work and stayed for the surf. A perfect set up for hitting the local break. There’s even an outdoor shower to clean off after. Kitchen had all the supplies needed. Great home base, definitely recommend

We decided to book this Airbnb for a family holiday for the second time. It was an excellent experience. The apartment has everything that you need for a comfortable stay longer than a week. Kate was an excellent, very friendly and proactive host.

We have visiting San Clemente every year for my wife's BDay for the last 5 year's and by Far this place called a Big fish Host by Desiree was awesome it meet beyond our expectations place was Awesome we definitely recommend it. Shannon also was extremely courteous, polit and she was always on top for evrething the we may need. thank you very much we had a wonderful Time!

We have been staying at Marriott Newport Coast Villas for years. It is a beautiful family oriented resort close to Orange County’s est beaches, restaurants and malls. Can’t go wrong !

This condo was very beautiful and the views from the living room and dining room were amazing. Our only thing is we didn't realize how steep the stairs were, and my mother couldn't climb them, so she had to stay somewhere else. Then we checked out. So, we paid for something we couldn't enjoy and that was sad. Not even a small portion of a refund was offered to us.

Bethany was amazing . Everyone in the resort super friendly and many activities to keep you busy , pools are amazing views of Newport coast and Catalina island , Crystal cove beach 7 minute drive a must , with beachcomber for lunch or dinner . We truly enjoyed our family staycation at The Marriott Villas in Newport Coast. Thank Bethany for an amazing experience and great service . The Salgado’s for sure be back

Alyonka's listing is just as described. Beautiful location, on the cliff above the beach. As someone else mentioned, it is much bigger than the photos do it justice. We were in town for the holidays to visit my parents who live nearby. I wish we could have spent more time in the unit more and enjoyed it. I'm looking at moving into town and I'd do a long term lease if she was open to it! That's how much I liked it. Quick walk to the beach, to the pier, to coffee shops and cafes and restaurants. Two dedicated spots for parking (one in garage). Great location, great unit, great host, will stay again.
