Family-friendly holiday rentals in Balatonalmádi

We can only say here that the place is absolutely amazing. Located directly on Lake Balaton, now nice and quiet in April and the house or the equipment is very good. A dream if you can sit in the hot tub or on the sofa in not so warm weather and look out on the Lake Balaton through the large panoramic windows. All in all, this was a fantastic stay for us Hungarian fans here in April.

Joli was a great host. She responded to the messages always friendly and quickly. She was flexible. The place was big, clean and well equipped

We returned to Andrea's place for the second time, it was just as peaceful and beautiful. Andrea is a responsive host, the house is comfortable for 10-12 people to stay, all was as described in the listing. I hope we will return soon!

Very good communication with Tamás, apartment is very good, what is promised by the photos and the description. We particularly liked the fact that we could use the spa and private beach of the neighboring hotel Azur. This has once again greatly enhanced our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was cozy. The kids enjoyed the garden with their own playground. We received super recommendations from the host. Every day, there's something kid-friendly just a few minutes drive away. We loved Lake Balaton in the fall!

It's an old apartment, but it's a place with a clean interior. It's great for families to come and stay, and you can easily get to St. Louis city or surrounding beaches by car. I also liked the restaurant the owner recommended. However, parking has to be done around the apartment, and if you come in late, it takes a while to find a parking space. Overall, it was a satisfactory place.

We stayed with Judith for a week. We met her daughter and her husband since Judith was unfortunately sick at the time. The hosts are very nice and the daughter speaks very good German. The apartment is very nice and well equipped. There were four of us and we felt very comfortable. We highly recommend this place and if we were to go on vacation again then we would like to stay with Judith again.

Friendly and welcoming hosts in a lovely house at the end of a quiet dead end street, perfect for a peaceful stay. The apartment looks exactly like the photos: simple, modest, but very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a great stay. We explored the neighborhood by bike and truly enjoyed the calm and charming surroundings. A great choice for those looking for a quiet and pleasant place to relax.

We spent an awesome long weekend at Julianna’s place. The panoramic lake view from the terrace is spectacular. The fully fenced garden was perfect for our dog. Marked hiking routes, and several vineyards are in walking distance. Daytime temperatures reached 30 °C while we were there, yet the house stayed pleasantly cool throughout. Highly recommended.

We love our stay in this old house filled with charm, with ample outdoor space and a great café at the end of the yard. The hosts were kind and hospitable and went out of their way making us feel at home. We travelled with our 2.5 year and our dog and can confirm the space is kid and dog friendly. We hope to return!

We had a nice stay in Sándor's apartment. The way up there is a little bit adventurous by car, but completely manageable (as long as you don't have a trailer like us :D) Sándor was really helpful, responded always quickly. The garden and the way to get into the apartment is for toddlers a bit precarious, but fine anyway. The apartment is nice and the view is amazing. You have a lot to do in this area is short driving distance.

We enjoyed the stay with 3 children and two dogs. The house, which is located in a quiet side street, is very well equipped and the table tennis table was well received. Two beach resorts and the waterfront promenade are within walking distance. A visit to the Tihany peninsula is also worthwhile. Communication with Botond was great!

The place is a conversion of part of a Hungarian house. It has very thick walls. Inside there are two very large rooms each with a large bed, maybe king size, and a sofa that looks like it turns into another large bed, so should easily sleep 8 people. There is no living room, but each of the bedrooms is kind of like its own living room. There is no TV but there is fast Internet through WiFi. There is a large kitchen/diner with all the essential bits and pieces for cooking and a full sized gas cooker. There is a bathroom with shower and WC and a separate WC. Both are decorated with modern tiling. There is a garden. The owner lives in a house on the site. This is on the edge of a small town up in the hills overlooking the Balaton. You really need a car to get here and to explore the area. We didn't move anywhere on foot. The place is very quiet and relaxing and functional but it really it is a jumping off point to explore the area. I'm all we enjoyed our stay here.

Szilvi was very kind, and the place looked exactly like in the pictures. We stayed with our one-and-a-half-year-old baby – it was perfect for the little one too. There’s a small playground in the garden, which we especially appreciated. If you’re planning to go with a baby, it’s an ideal environment. I can only recommend it!

Petra is a kind and attentive host. He answered all questions very quickly, but in fact, everything was included in the description, so the takeover and delivery of the accommodation went smoothly. We really felt that we were welcome there. Not to mention a little homemade delicacy we got as a gift!

We had such a wonderful time. we spend almost 4 weeks in this wonderful Home. we loved the House, the beautiful Garden, the nice Pool and we Had everything we needed. the neighbourhood is quiet and everything is close by. We had a super nice, pleasant holiday in this beautiful villa. The house is very well equipped, has a nice terrace and a beautiful garden with many trees, which give the necessary cooling during the hot summer days. (the airconditioners in the bedrooms are also a great added value) The quiet beach is around the corner (approx. 200m) and with the wagon you can easily take all your beach equipment with you. On foot or by bike you will be in the center at the bakery, small supermarket or restaurant. Highly recommended to discover the Balaton and this beautiful region.

Very spacious apartment for a reasonable price.

The listing exactly matched the photos and description. The contact with the landlords was consistently friendly and helpful. Check-in was a bit bumpy, as the caretaker was abroad at the time of our arrival. Therefore, a personal introduction to the use of sauna and pool was omitted. Since our reservation was quite spontaneous, this was not a big problem for us. We felt very comfortable in the spacious, tastefully furnished house. In combination with the large garden and pool, the property invites you to relax and linger. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and can fully recommend the house.

Apt. has everything what you need. I have a feeling like at home. Location is GREAT, walking distance to beach. I would rate this place 10/10. We will be back for sure.

Almost everything was perfect, the only 2 issues we had 1. No air conditioner (but we know it of course, so can't complain) 2. In my opinion it's less suitable with babies (0-3). But otherwise we really recommend it. Edina been good for us and very friendly, and help with all we need.

The holiday was very nice in the house. We were received in a very friendly manner. Enjoying the great view for breakfast was wonderful. The pool was cleaned every other day. We felt very comfortable 🥰 Since we have already visited some houses on Lake Balaton, we especially noticed the comfortable chairs (outside), as well as the variety of dishes + dishwasher, have been positively noticed. 🥰 Thank you for renting the house.

We were with two families (4 adults + 3 children) for a week in the accommodation. We all liked it very much, the house is large and everyone has space! The two bathrooms were particularly good, so each family had their own bathroom. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need and you had plenty of space to sit inside and outside. The house is neat and clean. The highlight was the small pool in the garden. It's just a few minutes walk to the beach. The residential area is absolutely quiet. On foot, you can also head to some restaurants that all offer very delicious food. We also had super-functioning WiFi in the house. A special thanks also to the owner of the house, Agnes. She was always immediately available for questions or problems and always helped. Thank you. We definitely recommend this place.
