We spent a fabulous couple of days at The Forge. The place is as described - very comfortable and fully equipped for an escape to the countryside. We loved the thoughtful welcome basket of goodies too. Set in extensive grounds and with plenty of local walking, it was a chance to completely unwind and relax. A big thank you to Mel, the property manager, who provided full and clear information and was friendly and responsive to our queries.

Totally exceeded our expectations! Janine is very, very helpful and quick to respond. The views are stunning. The place is better than the photos. It is so spacious and well equipped. Plus there is lots to do. We had two toddlers with us and they were never bored. Highly, highly recommend a stay here. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

We LOVED our stay here! The home is fabulous, so many spacious rooms to explore, each one decorated in a great way. The outdoor space is amazing, and was such a highlight of our stay, from the stunning countryside views, the lush pool, the immaculate sauna out building (a hot tub on the balcony or outside would be a cherry on top of a delicious cake). We also loved that the house was so well stocked in the kitchen and cupboards throughout the house, which made it easier and more enjoyable to just chill at the house. Everyone said that they're beds were super comfy too. The neighbours were very welcoming and helpful too, it was a lovely start to our stay meeting Les! It was easy to communicate with the host, and they messaged us 24 hours before check out to let us know we could check out later which was fab. Would definitely recommend staying here with a big group, plenty of space for everyone with a fab social dining table. Diolch yn fawr

Absolutely loved our stay. Clean and had everything we needed. Check in easy and friendly. Large parking area, and pool for swimming if the weather is on your side. Views from the cottage fantastic on a clear day. Great location for access to Snowdon and lovely scenic towns to visit. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here over February half term as a family get away of 12 people. The house was warm, cozy and inviting. It was like being at home. The upstairs lounge with views over the sea was a real show stopper! 10-15 minute walk to the beach and stunning views all around. Hosts were great with sorting a heating issue before we even arrived, great communication. Would highly recommend, and will be revisiting in warmer months to enjoy the pool.

Beautiful house in a lovely setting. As you'd expect, not a lot of entertainment immediately locally outside of the house other than walks (be warned footpaths are not maintained and impassible in places) but you don't book a place like this if you want hustle and bustle. Pool, hot tub and fire pit all great. Games room is in a separate building to the main house and so wasn't used as much as perhaps otherwise could have. Hosts are great and very welcoming, but they do live right next door which might not be everyone's cup of tea. It wasn't a big issue for us and we were left to our own devices. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Hosts very accommodating if required and good communication 👍

Beautiful property. The house is huge—we joked that we probably wouldn’t use all of the rooms—but we did. The whole experience felt luxurious—seriously, a pool? We had trouble with the sauna—better directions would be helpful—but the issue was addressed speedily. And I don’t know why people complain about the lumber yard; we noticed nothing. Hats off to Phoebe and Jan!

Had a brilliant stay. Lorraine was an excellent host, full clear instructions on how to get to the air BnB, very welcoming and was great at communicating. The air BnB was ideally located for walks in Snowdonia, we spent three nights there. One room downstairs, very cosy kitchen and lounge, upstairs has a bathroom with shower and the bedroom with a comfy double bed. Had everything you would expect, really felt like a home from home. Would love to stay again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Wim's cottage. The property was exactly as described, in fact the photos do not fully capture the beauty of the views and the peaceful surroundings. The area is incredibly scenic and offers a perfect retreat from everyday life. Wim was a fantastic host. He was warm, welcoming, and very easy to communicate with throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. We would gladly recommend Wim’s cottage to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing escape in beautiful natural surroundings. Thank you, Wim.

Lovely spot for a night in a wondeful village and a helpful host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Guto's place! Ela and Guto were exceptional hosts, always available to assist if needed, but everything was so well-organized that we never had to reach out. The spacious layout was perfect for our group of ten, allowing everyone to relax without feeling crowded. We appreciated the various breakout areas, which provided a lovely sense of privacy when desired. The kids especially loved the expansive outdoor space, and the surprise visit from the cows in the nearby field was truly delightful! The breathtaking views from nearly every angle of the house added to the charm of our stay. With ample amenities at our disposal, we never found ourselves lacking for anything. The thoughtful welcome basket was a lovely touch that made us feel right at home. Overall, our experience was nothing short of wonderful, and we look forward to returning!

Beautifully appointed with everything you would need for a short break. We BBQed/cooked most nights - there was everything you could require for self catering. Lots of really lovely hikes within walking distance / a short drive. We all had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Zoe!

From opening the door at Peach House we felt like we were at home. First impressions were that it was clean, and as we cook a lot when we are away we noticed we had all the kitchen utensils, pots and pans etc available. We loved the crisp bedding as well and the lovely dressing gowns available to wear. Peach House is a great base as well to look around the island. Lauren as our host was so helpful and friendly to us as well in providing local recommendations to get our car fixed as it had some problems when we arrived. All in all we had a fabulous time with our two dogs, would highly recommend. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ .

It was a great place, well located for Shrewsbury town centre with a pleasant walk along the river to get there. I would definately stay here again. Note: finding the property can be tricky when following 'sat nav', and working out how to reverse a car into the off-road drive required a bit of strategic thought, but that all seemed to add to the experience! Our family had such a wonderful stay at Garth Gell. The kids loved exploring the woods and streams and it was great getting back to basics and staying cosy with the aga and wood burners.

This place is for someone like myself that wants to switch off from work and have a everything they could want or need in a home away from home. It has a hot tub that is wood burned, a log burner and the layout is perfect. The gardens are extensive with one of the parts of land we had access to with a lake with a beautiful back drop of the mountains. It isn’t walkable to local pubs or shops but it’s a 9 minute drive to large supermarkets and lots of walks a drive away. I went for my birthday and had my pup with me and one friend staying two nights and the other joined me for three nights. Two of us wanted to stay longer so booked another night! We absolutely adored This place and will be back. Kerrie the house keeper was lovely who we talked with before our stay and saw on check out. Thankyou so much again and we will be back!

We had a lovely few days of peace & quiet at Camilla & Henry’s. Waking up to the birds singing and the fresh Herefordshire countryside air was just what we needed. Everything was perfect. It was easy to find with clear instructions. The facilities were great. And the homemade ginger biscuits & apple juice were a real highlight. We would definitely recommend, and hope to be back soon!

Walking distance for our ride on the Blaenau Ffestiniog railway. A visit to Port Mereirion and Swallow Falls at Betws-y-Coed. Thank you Emma a comfortable cottage after a hard day sightseeing.

Fantastic modern house with all mod cons. The views are breathtaking over Aberporth....only downside a new house is under construction adjacent to the main living room which takes away some of those views....and although close to completion....scaffolding is an eyesore. Still fabulous stay and would go back to Aberporth again.

Had a beautiful few days at The Barn in Trelawnyd. Paul and his family were great hosts. Such a beautiful, peaceful spot, our little Cavapoochon was in heaven with the enormous grounds and private wooded area. Highly recommend! 😀

A great host and a lovely home. Every bit as good as the photos, with a wonderful welcome hamper and everything was there that we needed for our stay.

The cottage was architecturally and practically so well formed for a lovely stay for two. We loved the coastal view from the cottage and garden space to sit out in. It was set in the historic town of Harlech just around the corner from the castle. There were good local amenities and some lovely local walks as well as being accessible to Snowdownia National Park hikes etc. The host was excellent at communication and made the process very easy .

We cannot recommend Tan Y Garth enough. Staying there was an adventure in itself: atmospheric, clean and set in spectacular surroundings. The best thing about Tan Y Garth were our hosts. There was a fierce storm during our stay resulting in a power outage covering the whole of Wales. Janet and Derek worked tirelessly to make sure we were warm, able to cook, able to see! We ate supper by candlelight and some electric light, round a roaring fire, took hot baths by candlelight and Derek even restored Wi-Fi and made sure we could listen to music! It was a truly memorable weekend and we will definitely be back to enjoy Tan y Garth in more clement conditions!
