At 0.7 km from the village center. Bakkeveen lies on the border of the provinces of Groningen, Drenthe and Friesland. For many, Bakkeveen is known for its beautiful forests, sandy plains, fens, dobben and heathlands. Characteristic is that there is nature reserve almost on all sides of the village. You can walk here for hours or ride a bicycle while the landscape around you keeps changing. A beautiful area for walkers and cyclists. Especially in the summer months, there is a lot of experience in Bakkeveen.

We've not seen such a great naturehouse before! In the beautiful green and quiet surroundings of Eén (Drenthe) next to Roden and Norg you'll find Buitenhuis Duurentijdt. This is a luxury vacationhome with all the amneties for a modern day vacation has two big bedroom and two wonderful bathrooms. The living room features a woodstove. There is TV, wifi and fast fiber internet. Around the house there are two terraces and a magnificent view of the lake! A wonderful place to relax.

Boshuisje Vos, with a fine large garden in Bakkeveen.

Fox is a wonderful holiday home on a forest plot of 980 m2. A large private garden enough places to sit. Inside you will see the modern Scandinavian decor, this gives you a nice welcome right away. The living area of Vos is a bright room with a round table, a cozy large sofa, a chair and a pouf. A lovely place for a young and old. There is ultimate tranquility and there is plenty of activity nearby to search for. The playground is close by and yet it is a very quiet place.

Als je even helemaal tot rust wilt komen en wilt genieten van de prachtige natuur, dan is dit een natuurhuisje bij uitstek. Maar ook voor de wandel en fietsliefhebbers zijn er ontelbare routes in de buurt. Het huisje heeft een afgezet terrein, waar kinderen heerlijk kunnen spelen. Our holiday home is located on the edge of Molecaten 't Hout holiday park. The spacious house is in a sunny spot and offers something for everyone. The 1,600 m² garden is an oasis of peace and privacy, with cozy seating areas, including a charming gazebo. Enjoy the beautiful view of the landscape. For active guests, bicycles are available. Guesthouse "De Bisschops' Stee"

Ons woonhuis is een voormalig bedrijfspand en had nogal wat ruimte over. Waar voorheen de winkel-/kantoorruimtes met klantentoilet waren, hebben wij in het najaar van 2019 een slaapkamer, woonruimte met kitchenette (met koffie- en thee voorzieningen/koelkastje) en toilet/douche gerealiseerd. De winkelentree is nu een privé-ingang voor ons gastenverblijf. Ontbijt bestellen is mogelijk, dit is echter niet standaard bij de basisprijs inbegrepen.
