We had a great time in Afife and enjoyed our stay at Joaos place. The location was very quiet (except the Honda shop across the street in the daytime) and Afife has not much to offer, which was okay for us but should be known in advance if you plan on eating outside. Porto is great to be reached by train and the beach is very close. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms there’s enough space for a big group and everything was very comfortable. The pool was open already and was cleaned during our stay. The only thing which I would point out on the negative side is that when we arrived it smelled a bit mouldy, probably due to the rainy weather and the fact that 3 of the bathrooms don’t have windows. The staircase to the lower part of the house is very steep. That’s a fact you should know when travelling with small kids. Joao was perfect to contact and always responded quickly whenever there were any questions. Thanks for having us. We would totally recommend to stay at his place.

Really beautiful home with stunning views, absolutely loved our stay here thanks for having us. Fully equipped kitchen and the space is absolutely gorgeous throughout. Brilliant outdoor area for dining and sunbathing. Garden and pool in full sunshine whenever you want to use them but a nice shaded area for dining. Only slight disappointment was the home did not have air con as advertised (it was underfloor heating) so we were quite hot at night and struggled to sleep. The heating system was adjusted and our host provided fans for each bedroom to try and help cool the house. Overall fantastic property.

We were a group of 4 adults, a 9 month old baby, a 2 year old, 2 dogs, and the house was perfect for everybody! Great space inside and outside (dogs enjoyed a lot exploring around, very safe), big bedrooms - each one had its own bathroom (they provided a cot for our little one), and a very well equipped kitchen. Isaque and his mom were very responsive, caring and available, made our stay super comfortable, providing some nice little "gifts" and local treats for us to enjoy along the days. We had a lovely and peaceful time. The pool is amazing, it had nice views as well. Not much to do around the area (I'd recommend to take everything you need for the entire stay), just little walks or hiking (you need a car to reach the closest town or the mini market), so if you are looking to spend some days with family, just enjoying nature and away from the every-day-rush, this is your place.

We had an amazing stay. Fantastic calming and private retreat. An amazing view, pool and villa. Loads of space to not step on each others toes with some great spaces to get back together and enjoy the holiday. Don’t doubt it. Book it. Enjoy.

We had a wonderful weekend in this house with friends. The house is large, very spacious and was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was undoubtedly one of the strong points, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun. Communication with Maria was always fast, clear and very friendly, which made everything even easier. We totally recommend it and hope to return soon!

Everything about Quinta da Boavista is just 10/10 perfect! It's quite and peacfull but still, very accesable. Ella and Maria are so proactive and helpful, and allways with a smile and good vibe. The houses, pool and, well.. the whole property are all very well planned and executed. We will defenitely come back here. Highly recomended! Thank you for everything

very pleasant stay in a quiet area, well located and in a charming house

We were allowed to spend 2 weeks at Casa da Luz and had a very nice and relaxing time. The garden of the property is fantastic! During our stay, the adjacent house Casa de Santiago was not occupied. Arrival and departure (handover via key safe) were hassle-free and communication with the landlord was very friendly and efficient. We felt very comfortable and can recommend Casa da Luz to anyone who wants to spend a quiet and undisturbed vacation.

We spent santa week at Luci's house and we loved it. We were able to enjoy the natural environment that surrounds the village. It is also very close to Vigo by car, as well as other Galician cities or towns. The house is very nicely cared for and the cleanliness is impeccable. Luci, the hostess, is a very lovely person. He was always friendly and helped us with recommendations.

easy to access and responsive host. a well equipped modern kitchen and bathroom, lovely setting with nice views, a short drive into redondela and around 30 to 40 mins to Vigo and surrounding area, and close to other areas, a good place to make day trips from. everything was perfect, however the air can be very warm humid on hot days, we experienced a day or so of over 30 degrees so it took until late in the evening to cool down even with the windows and blind shutters down during the day. something to be aware of during hot weather. but all in all a great place to stay ! if there's no Aircon just drink more wine .

We have been five days, four couples, and we have all left delighted, both with the house and with Rosa and Pepe, who are two wonderful people. The house far exceeds the photos you see, the views are spectacular, the rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and the kitchen is not lacking in details. We'd love to come back as soon as I can. Marcelino met us exactly on time and showed us around the house explaining how everything worked and what to do in the area. The house absolutely exceeded our expectations. It is right on the beach, easy boardwalk in to town. Beautiful sunsets and views. Boiro is a great little town, lots of restaurants and cafes. We really recommend staying here. We only had 4 nights and wish it could be longer. Thank you for your kindness Marcelino.

At the beginning of June 2025, we spent a week in the cozy Tiny House of Clarisse & Manuel. The garden is beautiful, as is the surrounding area with village, fields, sea coast and forest. Praia de Paco is a very beautiful natural beach. Our hosts were very friendly & pleasant. The orange cake is a dream! Muito obrigado😀! We are on vacation without a car. The few connections of the local train were enough for us. Arrival and departure by taxi from Viana do Castrlo worked perfectly. Beatrice and Luzi

The house is just as seen in the photos, with spectacular views. Perfect place to rest with family or friends. Very grateful to Maria who from the beginning made everything easy for us. 100% recommended!

The house is amazing. We were able to enjoy an unbeatable week as a family. The views from home are spectacular and close to both the beach and restaurants and supermarkets. The house is very well equipped and very comfortable. In addition, Ana is super attentive, she was attentive to us at all times so that we will not be missing anything.

It is a charming house surrounded by grove, ideal for resting, decorated to detail with great taste and good views. Alfredo and his wife are ten welcomed us in the house with some snacks and a good wine, which to say of the detail for the little one, they gave us places to eat in the area and our stay was wonderful, we will definitely repeat.

The house is wonderful, beautiful and clean. The service was excellent, both from Maria and Tita, we felt very welcome.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is even more beautiful than in the photos – a cozy, well-kept space full of details that make a difference. When we arrived, we were greeted with a still-warm homemade bread, a super thoughtful gesture that immediately set the tone for the rest of the stay. Carina and Filipe were super helpful and concerned about making sure everything was going well, which made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

Jose was wonderful! He was so sweet to welcome us and show us around. He even encouraged us to use the pool, which we did since our legs were so sore and tired from the long day on the Camino :-) The large bottle of cold water for us was so greatly appreciated! We appreciated his help on how/where to do our laundry. It was a real plus that his place is right on the Camino!
