"UNE TERRASSE SUR LA MER" welcomes you to Port-en-Bessin, a very active fishing port in Calvados, nicknamed by Françoise Sagan: "The Normandy Saint-Tropez" This authentic fisherman's house (18th century) is quietly located in the first alley of the old port. On foot, you can walk to one of its many restaurants unless you prefer to go directly to the fish market located less than 100 meters away and come back for lunch on its exceptional terrace.

For water sports enthusiasts, a private room allows you to store equipment (kitesurfing, boards, bicycles, etc.) We provide 2 bikes upon request. It will be an excellent base for a stay with family, friends or a couple; the Chemin des Fossés Taillis provides access to Omaha Beach in about ten minutes on foot. The location also allows you to visit all the landing sites and enjoy the tranquility of the Normandy countryside.
