Cozy vacation home in Saxon Switzerland

Our cozy vacation home is located in the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park on the outskirts of Bad Schandau and is therefore the ideal starting point for many excursions: hiking and climbing in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, tours on the Elbe Cycle Path or relaxing in the Toskana Therme! The small wooden house is quietly located on a large meadow property, surrounded by greenery. Our guests particularly appreciate this idyllic location, the good accessibility and the coziness of the accommodation.

Our cozy apartment "Zaukennest" is located in our half-timbered house with separate entrance. The house is located in the 2nd row on the slope directly on the forest and is only accessible via steps. The towing nest is designed for 2 persons, simple extra bedding is exceptionally possible. A set of linen (bed linen/towels) can be booked for a flat rate of EUR 25 (own purchase). The private parking is about 250m away. Downtown and ferry dock: 5-10 min. Train station by ferry: 20 min.

Vacation home at the spa park

Our apartment is located directly at the spa park in Bad Schandau. There are numerous restaurants, supermarkets, the Toskanatherme, the Kirnitzschtalbahn, the historic Sendig lift or, for example, the National Park Center in the immediate vicinity. Directly from the property you can hike to the Schrammsteine, the Kohlbornstein or the Rathmannsdorfer lookout tower. All other highlights of Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland can be reached quickly by car or public transport.

Liebevoll renoviert, befindet sich die Unterkunft in direkter Nähe des Bhf Krippen und 2 km entfernt vom Bhf Bad Schandau, welche perfekte Ausgangspunkte für Ausflüge in den umliegenden Nationalpark, Städte und Dörfer sind. Mit der 500m entfernten Fähre gelangt ihr kostenfrei (Gästekarte) nach Postelwitz oder in die Innenstadt Bad Schandau (Elbkai) auf der anderen Elbseite.

Wooden hut right on the edge of the forest

Our old small hay storage can be used as a shelter and is equipped with 2 camp beds and air mattresses for 2 adults or 1 adult with 2 kids, but they are only 190 cm long. The hut is right on the edge of the forest to Saxon Switzerland and you can stay here close to nature. A bathroom in the main house will be provided. In front of the cabin you can sit comfortably outside and enjoy nature. Ideal for hikers of the Malerweg. plus tourist tax!

Getaway with panoramic views (3-room apartment) with wallbox

Apartment in newly built house on the first floor with sun terrace. 2 bedrooms, open kitchen, living room with dining area, shower, bathtub and toilet. Quietly located with fantastic all-round views of Saxon Switzerland. Owners live on the upper floor. Access: gravel road. Free parking in the yard. Linen fee (bed linen, towels and shower towels) per person for €13 if desired plus tourist tax on site. There are animals on the farm.

Villa Emma, Apartment 5, top floor right

The pretty Villa Emma is located in the middle of the Saxon Switzerland National Park and awaits you. Villa Emma was built in 1870 and completely renovated in 2014. In our house you can also enjoy massages and treatments in the Huxol naturopathic practice. The 6 modern apartments are elegantly furnished and feature a living area with a flat-screen TV, 1 to 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.

From this centrally located accommodation you can be at all the important places in no time. Balcony with a view of the Elbe and just a few steps to the banks of the Elbe with a boat dock. High quality, great kitchen with everything you need. All shops for daily needs can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. Restaurants in the immediate vicinity. A few meters to the Toskana Therme.

Shepherd's wagon tiny house - parking, garden, Wi-Fi

Our shepherd's wagon is located on our Kraxlerhof, in the middle of Saxon Switzerland overlooking the Ochelwände. With a lot of love, we have now completed our shepherd's wagon at the end of July 2022 for up to two people. All hiking destinations are easily accessible from our farm. We are happy to give you interesting excursion tips around the hiking region of Saxon Switzerland.
