Casa Lunita is absolutely stunning! The small town of Baca is tranquil and welcoming! Carolyn and Crystal are amazing hosts who have so much knowledge about the town and the entire area. They are extremely kind! We were so excited to share stories of our daily adventures with them, sometimes interrupting their quiet time, but were greeted with matched enthusiasm from them! It became very clear early on that we all share the same love for the Yucatán and all that it has to offer. If you’re interested in experiencing life in Baca as a local, Casa Lunita is the place for you! During the day the town is very quiet but after dark, comes to life when the entire square becomes filled with townspeople who greet you with warm smiles and friendly, “Buenas noches!” We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Lunita and hope to return in the near future! And we’re super excited to stay in touch with Carolyn and Crystal!

Definitivamente uno de mis airbnb favoritos. Todo está decorado con muy buen gusto. Súper cómodo, tranquilo y muy bonito. Se cuido cada detalle para hacerte sentir en casa. Todo lo que necesites queda muy cerca. Nos dieron recomendaciones para actividades y para comer y fueron excelentes. Súper recomendable!! Nos quedamos 4 noches y nos quedamos con ganas de alargar la estadía.

Un petit coin de paradis. La chambre est en fait une petite maison séparée. Belle déco et mobilier de qualité. la salle de bain est top. La cuisine bien pratique et bien équipée. La piscine est fantastique et à 2 pas de la terrasse. Tout est conforme aux photos. Les chiens ne sont vraiment pas dérangeants. On ne les voit quasiment pas et on les entends rarement. Certains commentaires semblent excessifs. Nos hôtes se sont fait très discrets. Mais Deborah, très sympathique, nous a donné quelques conseils de visite. Le village est accessible à pied semble-t-il mais nous avons préféré la voiture. Le parking fermé est appréciable. Tout était parfait durant ces 2 jours ! On y resterait volontiers plus longtemps.

Casa Pantera was impeccable! I appreciated everything about it. Stephanie and Chase thought through every detail. It's beautifully curated, with comfortable seating and bedding, and the services and amenities are what I'd expect from a top-tier vacation. Loved staying at casa manguito. So peaceful and calm. A 10-15 min drive to downtown Merida. So many different spots relatively close. I loved the attention to detail, the decor, the pool, the privacy, everything!! I would definitely come back again!!

What an incredible stay! The house is exactly as described- directly on the sea. Every morning it was calm as glass until 11:30a- could walk 60+ft out to a sandbar. It’s a small beach but you can walk along the coast to collect shells/look at the other beach homes. AC is only wall units in the living room, kitchen, bedrooms- it was warm in the afternoon or when cooking. The upstairs unit couldn’t keep up so we slept downstairs instead. But nothing to worry about. Spending each sunset on the rooftop was our highlight. And the pool when it was windy in the afternoon! Add 2 cholorine tablets daily to keep the water blue. Chelem is a tiny charming town. Chedraui in Merida and Progreso are best for groceries. Try Pescadería Cristo Rey IN Chelem- there is a Cristo Rey in Chuburna but it’s not as good. Plan for takeout- we had the best camarones ceviche and pescado frito. Also book a trip to Isla Los Columpios, ojo de agua, and Playa los Carbonaras! We already want to come back!!
