Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Located 10 minutes from Amsterdam by car and 15 minutes by train. The area has lot's of outdoor activities (bike riding, boat rentals, hiking trails also for dogs, beach area) You have restaurants, supermarkets, butcher, bakery and shops within 5 minute drive by car.

Very sweet cottage, in an absolutely quiet location. The garden is well established, so you have privacy and can go there with anxious dogs. Everything was super clean and beautifully decorated. A perfect place for nature lovers, you can even see small parrots and a black swan we have also seen! The check-in was easy and the contact was also very friendly! We will be happy to come back!

Frederique is an excellent host and his home is incredible. The apartment is cozy, spacious, quiet, well-located, clean and well-equipped, and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. I would definitely recommend his home to anyone looking for a great stay in the Netherlands, including families with young children. In addition, Frederique answered all my questions very quickly and is a friendly person.

Very nice experience in an unusual and enchanting environment a short drive from the capital. Adventure with 5 teenagers and young adults . The still cool weather of this month of April did not allow us to use all the devices offered outside (outdoor bathtub, barbecue, swimming) but everything is planned for a real disconnection! Natasha and Marcel, very welcoming and responsive when needed.

A very nice accommodation where we spent a short week. Felicia was very responsive for our arrival but also throughout the stay, full of small attentions and recommendations on nice places in the area. The accommodation is clean, decorated with taste. You sleep well and there is everything you need to cook simply. The terrace is just as pleasant, especially at the end of the day when the sun sets. Located in the middle of the polders, the landscapes are beautiful and quiet but we are still well served (highway very close, train station in the city that leads to Amsterdam as well as Rotterdam) An address and a host that I highly recommend!

Beautiful property by a canal/inlet to a lake. Spacious rooms and a huge yard and patio overlooking the inlet. We had a friends reunion and was great to hangout on the patio. Very responsive host - got responses instantly. Great area - enjoyed runs and walks around the lake. Parking is across the street and is about 200m away from the property and one needs to follow the host's instructions to the T to get to the cottage from the main road.
