For a wedding, we had a great family stay at Jean-Claude and Claire's, with my spouse and our two daughters. The accommodation is impeccably clean, very well equipped and carefully decorated. The hosts were very far-sighted and attentive: homemade cookies, a nice bouquet of fresh flowers upon arrival, and the opportunity to enjoy a barbecue on the terrace. Quiet is a real plus to unwind. After a week of trekking, it was at Régine and Daniel's that we found all the well-deserved comfort. A last-minute arrival and such a warm welcome that it was difficult for us to leave. Relaxation, calm and stunning views of Lot, Cantal and Aveyron. A tastefully renovated old mill as a lookout for the night. Beyond her professionalism, Régine is kind enough to make us feel at ease. She doesn't hesitate to invite her guests to her table and give access to her pool. Our dog was also more than accepted. Pampered and cared for with tenderness, he quickly found his way around. What is exceptionally remarkable is the natural spontaneity that characterizes these hosts. For this reason, this Airbnb experience will be one of the most beautiful and will remain unforgettable. We had a truly memorable stay at Karen and Laka’s beautiful home in the peaceful village of Varen, France. The location is ideal for exploring some of the most charming towns in the region - Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, Najac, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Albi, and more are all within easy reach. The property itself is thoughtfully appointed, with a lovely private patio garden that opens up to a breathtaking meadow. The swimming pool is perfectly positioned to take in sweeping views of the countryside, forest, and even the village church tower - it’s the kind of peaceful backdrop that invites deep relaxation. Karen and Laka are warm, welcoming hosts who instantly make you feel at home. They offered fantastic local tips and recommendations, clearly sharing a strong connection to their community. Their genuine hospitality made the experience feel less like a rental and more like a second home. 10/10 we’d love to return and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an authentic French break.

We had a wonderful 16 days in Aussac. Staying in the gite was a fantastic experience as it is a mix of old and new construction. The old timbers and walls give the place great character and the modern elements are bright and make the place very comfortable. The bedroom is modern with a skylight and a very comfortable king size bed. The walk-in shower is a joy to use and the main bathroom is a good size. The kitchen is well equipped with a lovely bright dining area and a small rooftop balcony. One of the best features of the place is the outdoor space. The pool is one of the best we have seen set in a very large garden with a fabulous mix of trees (elegant cypresses, olive trees, a walnut tree etc). There is a cool shady outdoor dining space with comfortable couch and chairs where we had lunch most days. Overall the accommodation was top class and Franck and Sylvie were excellent friendly and responsive hosts. We highly recommend the gite to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation.

We had a great weekend at Axelle and Nicolas's. The children loved their garden, the pool, the pizza workshop, the dogs and all the animals! They are available, respectful and very generous hosts, with lots of little touches.

The house is spacious and on two floors in the typical style of Dordogne like the small and quiet village in which it is located. The vast and magnificent garden is available to guests. Cristophe and his wife are very nice and helpful and offered us homemade plum jam and cherry tomatoes from the garden upon arrival. If you are a dog lover you can play with their friendly and sweet boxer!! The location is ideal for visiting nearby Figeac and the most beautiful villages of Dordogne.
