Storstugan in the 1700s

Storstugan at FärjanGården. This is the main building of the farm dating back to the 18th century. Much of the property is preserved and restored. Renovated in old style with murals and charm. Swimming opportunity on the farm at the guest jetty, fishing from shore or from a rowing boat that can be borrowed. Access to two canoes (shared with one other cabin further away on the property). Cozy terrace with evening sun and views of the Dalälven river. Sauna is down by the water (shared but can be booked)

Welcome at the Valstabacken Guesthouse! Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis in Västmanland. Watch the wild animals living their life from the patio or go have a swim in the nearby lake. The cabin lies perfectly for day-trips to Stockholm, Uppsala, Västerås or Sala. Visit the Elk-park, Silvermine or enjoy one of the many hiking-trails nearby. There is a lot to see and do here, ask your hosts for recommendations. Or just relax and let nature heal you in this wonderful cabin.

Welcome to our cozy house, perfect for those who want to relax with family and friends or enjoy the tranquility on your own. The house is located about 14 km from the city center and offers a comfortable accommodation for 6 people (7 possible as extra space in the form of a bed armchair is available, however, this is best suited for children). The accommodation is newly renovated and fully equipped with a modern kitchen, WIFI, new bathroom, private patio and parking next to the house.

At Smens Gårdar we are all about bespoke group stays and celebrations. The concept was created from our passion for horses, the great outdoors, local organic food, beautiful old houses and the planning of tailored get togethers and celebrations. Only two hours north of Stockholm you find Smens Hästgård, a boutique Bed & Box offering set in the beautiful village of Fornby, in Southern Dalarna. The large house from 1889 comfortably hosts your private party of up to 12 guests.

The Yellow House; homegrown veg & woodfired sauna

Come and relax at The Yellow House, a peaceful, cosy cottage surrounded by forest and a stream running right past. A 15min walk (900m) will take you to a beautiful swimming lake with amazingly clear water. We are Malin and Woody and live next door on a little smallholding. We have two children, three cats, a dog and some ducks. Depending on the season, we sell organic duck eggs and vegetables straight from the garden! A woodfired sauna is available to use for 200kr/session.

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunrise is an extra plus. Please also refer to my guidebook that is in my profile. The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away. 2-4 kicks are available to borrow.

One bedroom with 4 beds in the form of 2 bunk beds, one bedroom with 2 beds. The living room has a fireplace and on the property there is a wood stove sauna. The property is suitable for those who want to enjoy the tranquility and nature, parties not allowed.

Tile oven is available. The accommodation is suitable for those of you who want to enjoy the tranquility and nice nature. Parties are not allowed. AC available. About 7 km to central Hedemora.
