Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

Our stay at Wanda's was exquisite. Its accommodation is ideal for going green and enjoying the north of the Ardèche. The place is particularly peaceful. Wanda is very friendly and recommended hiking trails, ideal swimming areas and restaurants. We will return to enjoy this haven of peace with great pleasure.

Great stay as I imagined: the site is very pleasant, surrounded by forests, a river, in the middle of nature with 2 pretty Salers cows nearby. The cottage is very comfortable and welcoming. Hikes around the cottage, a lake nearby and a beautiful region: a very nice vacation. Finally, a nice meeting with Graciella who welcomed us on our arrival and was there on our departure: nothing to do with the "welcome" of a key box! We chatted as if we had known each other for a long time, I really enjoyed it, thank you!

This is the third time we have come to the Mas de Blacholles and it is always a pleasure, charming little farmhouse in a small natural setting. Anne-Marie always responds quickly with a lot of kindness. We'll be happy to go back!

Delphine is a lovely and attentive hostess. The apartment is even more beautiful than in the already beautiful pictures and is cleverly equipped: there are not quite a lot of things, but exactly what you need. Like on the plateau, where the space is not primarily occupied by people, cars and things, but by nature, the sounds of trees and animals and the vastness of the meadows. We were enchanted by everything and were able to air out our big city fatigue. It was nice to meet Xavier and the cats, Hermes and Tulipe💚. Thank you! It was really nice in every way.

A rejuvenating stay away from the tumult of modern life. The region is superb and preserved, concealing a diversity of landscapes where you can walk and be silent, without forgetting swimming when it is too hot. The cabanon is a rare, welcoming place, open to the breathing of chestnut and cherry trees, very comfortable and subtly arranged, inhabited by many delicate details far from the ambient formatting (the broom is even a work of art!). The surroundings, although close to the village, are beautiful, with a lively nature where you can walk at dusk, and admire the purple full moon rising behind the mountains when there is a full moon! I even met a fox, and heard the hooting of owls! Laurent is a very caring, responsive, and generous host in his advice to discover this region in the best possible way. The icing on the cake is the presence of Rock, a mischievous and adorable young dog. I recommend it 100%!

Sabine, including the neighbors, is a very friendly host. The accommodation is spacious and especially the living area upstairs very nice. The kitchen is excellently equipped. Only the terrace no longer quite matches the images of the display. The surrounding area is characterized by a lot of nature and there are very nice hikes right from the doorstep. For the dog owners, the property is also recommended. Sabine has 2 dogs and there are 2 in the neighborhood. All are pleasant and well tolerated. In the village there is a small shop and about 10 km away in Saint-Pierreville a very good restaurant in the Ardelaine area. Perfect holiday for nature, peace and relaxation.

Laurent is the epitome of a super host! He had wonderful guidebooks and a map for us, spent time getting us oriented and gave us terrific dinner recommendations. He had a second set of keys for our son who visited. The place is just like the photos, and because we stayed for a month he even provided a cleaning service. The parking is in back of the building and very secure. Most importantly, though, Laurent was incredibly helpful during a crisis. We cannot thank him enough! We heartily recommend Laurent and his lovely apartment.

Patrick is a lovely man who went to the trouble to meet us at the entrance and show us around the excellent unit and to offer any help we may need. It has everything you could need for a stay and is so conveniently located on the walking street with spectacular views from the balcony all the way up to the square. The lift is very convenient as it would be difficult to walk up 6 floors of stairs. It is in easy walking distance to the Metro and many restaurants across the square If you are coming to Lyon I highly recommend Patricks place to stay

🌟 A perfect stay in Lyon! 🌟 I had a great stay at this ideally located Airbnb in Lyon. The apartment offers an absolutely magnificent view of the city. Very clean, well maintained, and tastefully decorated, you feel good right away. The neighborhood is perfectly located, with very good restaurants within walking distance and a pleasant atmosphere. Whether you're exploring the city or just relaxing, the location is really great. A big thank you to the hosts, very welcoming and responsive, always available to answer my questions and make sure everything goes well. I would recommend it without so much so as to be happy to come back!

Lovely, quiet, comfortable apartment in a fabulous location in Lyon! Tim is the perfect host, and the apartment has everything you need to feel at home. The bed is comfortable and the shower is the best I have ever found in an Airbnb! This place is near the amazing Parc de la Tête d'Or and about a twenty minute walk to the beautiful Rhône and central Lyon. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you, Tim!

We had a great stay at Francois’s! He kindly greeted us at our convenience to help with check in and show us around the apartment and providing some info on the location (even helped with our luggage!). The place was clean and full of fun items to explore. Location was perfect!

A beautifully furnished and immaculately styled apartment - stunning! We were tired from driving so accessed the nearby supermarket (3 min drive or 15 min walk) for food and used the lovely kitchen to cook dinner. Then relaxed on the lounge with the huge TV. After a restful sleep in the comfortable bed, we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace the next morning. A truly wonderful place to stay and highly recommended!

Sylvain was an AMAZING host. It was raining when we got to Lyon, but he was there to let us in and helped with our luggage. We only stayed one night, but the next day when we were leaving there were thunderstorms. We were to be met by a shuttle from our cruise ship but it had to meet us at the end of the street. Sylvain went and waited for the shuttle while we stayed in the apartment and then got the shuttle to come closer to where we were. He really went above and beyond to help us out!!! excellent host!!!

This was paradise! We loved absolutely everything about the house, the location, the hosts, the welcome, the hikes. The house has everything we wished more, the kitchen is well equipped, far beyond any other house we ever rented. The decoration is in such a good taste, gives a feeling of peaceful home. The view is incredible. All the details are carefully considered and well communicated. We rested, hiked, ate, read, slept, - all in the quiet home in the mountains. Beautiful house with a breathtaking view. Everything is present in the accommodation for you to have a good time. The pool (although vigilance is essential with children as there is no barrier) is superb and everything is maintained with care. We highly recommend it.

Perfect vacation unfortunately over far too quickly. 5 stars for Cin and her little paradise. Cin was a perfect and sincere hostess who was always trying. The communication was great, quick answers, tips for the excursions and a very warm and welcoming reception with a small guest gift. We immediately felt at home. Quiet, great location, beautiful views and fantastic sunrises. A small additional bonus are the cats that always put a smile on our face. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to it!!
