This place was absolutely amazing! The quirky and thoughtfully designed interior gave it so much character and made it feel really special. Dom had the fire set up and ready before we arrived, so the whole house was warm and inviting from the moment we stepped in. The spa was a real highlight—perfect for relaxing under the stars after a long day. The views from the property were stunning. Every detail felt well-considered, and we genuinely loved our stay.

The bush setting , the water views, the design and fit out are all top notch . Private and tranquil . We appreciated the expresso coffee machine ( and local beans in generous supply ) and other welcoming touches . Everything has been thought of in this immaculately presented house . This is the second time I have stayed at David’s beautiful home. Can’t thank him enough he is very responsive and clear with instructions to get inside. Once you are inside it’s absolutely magical. Views are incredible and the house is just so perfect. Can not recommend this place enough and I can’t wait to go back again one day. 5 stars

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Winged House, and it exceeded every expectation. Perched dramatically above the Bass Strait, the property offers breathtaking, uninterrupted views that shift constantly with the moods of the sea and sky—storms rolling in, magnificent sunsets, and stars appearing in pristine darkness. The house itself is a work of art: luxurious, private, and beautifully appointed with thoughtful inclusions throughout. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for—there were generous treats waiting for us, and every detail had clearly been considered to make our stay both comfortable and memorable. What truly stood out was the sense of solitude and serenity. We felt wrapped in nature, yet cocooned in comfort. The ever-changing views of ocean and sky were mesmerizing, offering a rare sense of peace and inspiration. For anyone seeking a unique, luxurious retreat where nature and architecture combine, we wholeheartedly recommend The Winged House.

This little peace of heaven was perfect for our family to celebrate my 40th birthday. From the moment we walked in the front gate to see the house amongst the gum trees and then the waterfall from the bedroom. We felt like we stepped into an old fairytale world with our own treehouse. Everywhere we walked felt like little fairy’s were waiting to greet us. The ferns throughout and stepping stones between each area made for the best adventures. The kids loved watching the frogs and tadpoles in the back pool. The natural pool was incredible and soul nourishing. Our first experience with a natural pool and it was breathtaking, especially being able to swim under the waterfalls. Thank you so much Sarah, we hope to return sometime Soon.

Ben and Tess were exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. Communication was seamless, and they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. It’s the little things that really stood out: a pantry stocked with essentials like olive oil, a lovely selection of teas and coffee, and even fresh milk waiting in the fridge. These thoughtful touches made such a difference. The decor throughout the house was absolutely stunning—stylish yet cozy, with so much attention to detail. And the views? Absolutely breathtaking. The home is in the perfect spot, with scenery that you’ll remember long after your trip is over. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

Sandra’s place was a perfect place for exploring Cradle. The place was cozy and it was great that we were able to cook dinner. Her instructions were very helpful too. Make sure you get groceries before you go. I highly recommend Sandra’s place.

Very relaxing stay at Kerrie's 2-bedroom place. Well-furnished with all you need. Cereals, croissants, and milk in the fridge were nice touches. Beds are very comfortable. 2-minute drive into the centre of Merimbula for shops and restaurants. Pleasant headland walk nearby. Kerrie was away and her stand-in was responsive and helpful. We can recommend Kerrie's place.

My partner and I stayed for the weekend and had such a fabulous time. The apartment was spotless and in a perfect location right next to brunswick street. Definitely recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay, Made was beyond helpful and responsive. He is a wonderful host, he was responsive helped with all our questions and gave us rides everywhere we needed. He was very patient with us too because we didn’t know what we wanted to do. the villa is very private and clean. They gave us all the amenities we needed. The only thing is that there wasn’t many restaurants around and it’s not too close to the main town. It’s a 15 minute drive but besides that I highly recommend staying here. Made is a wonderful person and he made our stay special.

Highly recommend this hidden gem. It’s nestled on a quiet street, just a 5-min walk to the Lake & Warilla beach. The place was is so neat & easy to maintain. Anthony was extremely generous & filled the fridge with milk, juice, yogurt, fruit, bread, cheese + a massive tray full of snacks, more bread, ice-cream in the freezer, fancy coffee pods + instant coffee which we prefer, kitchen paper, tissue boxes, ample toilet paper. Lots of cooking dishes, utensils, crockery & cutlery, everything in excellent condition. Beautiful TVs in the living room & bedroom. Excellent aircon in the dining room/kitchen, beautiful ceiling fan in the bedroom + an excellent pedestal sunbeam quiet fan in the living room. So many beach towels & bath towels, massive bottles of body wash, shampoo & conditioner, good cleaning products in the kitchen. Anthony was extremely responsive when my husband sustained some deep skin abrasions & gave us antiseptic solution + application buds. Loved & enjoyed staying here. ❤️

My wife and I had a very pleasant two-night stay at Luke and Yui's place. The place is newly furnished and clean, with a nice private patio and access to a plunge pool. The view is amazing as well! Luke and Yui were friendly and responsive, and even went out of their way to do us a favour. Not to mention their cute dog Leena, who we got to play with which was a lovely bonus. All in all, would recommend this place to all future guests. Just keep in mind this is in a relatively secluded location with limited bus service, so having a car would be best.

Great location, easy to find. Very clean , matress was a bit hard for us, but not bad. Had everything that ypu needed. Will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

We loved our stay at this beautiful villa! The private pool was the perfect escape and the breakfast included was delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We made good use of the complimentary bikes and snorkeling masks too. A special shout out to Patrick who brought my kindle all the way to the harbour when I left it behind. 🙏🙏🙏

Fay and Bushies place is absolutely stunning and full of so many beautiful & thoughtful touches. They are such kind, warm people and this really added to my stay. The bed is super comfortable, the property itself is stunning with gorgeous views. The outdoor bath is a delight. Bright is very easily accessible. Was a really healing experience - thank you both so much! I hope to return.

Was a very beautiful stay at Tisya place. Felt right at home. The food she had prepared was very tasty . She also helped us with all the transport arrangements and gave us tips on where to go and what to do . Her family is very welcoming and would stay at her place again for our next bali trip. We decided to end our honeymoon at Villa Shamballa and nothing more than a big OMG! Everything was just perfect, the awakening of birdsong accompanied by the three small squirrels of the tree opposite while enjoying an appetizing breakfast and ending the day with the singing of cicadas and frogs with a plate of Pisang goreng dazzled by candlelight ❤️ Thank you again for everything Kadek, Komang, Eric and Iluh, for your kindness, your concern and we hope to come back soon!
