Two colleagues used the place for collaborative work on a writing project and had a great stay.

We were a group of 13 people and had a wonderful time! :) (even saw some Northern Lights!!) Definitely recommend the place:)

A very nice location, we used the boat and kayaks a lot and of course also caught fish. Jan responds very quickly. Everything is present in the house and we have enjoyed it very much with our family.

I had a wonderful stay at Jarle's home. The location is absolutely fantastic, nestled in a peaceful spot with breathtaking views of the fjords and surrounding mountains. It truly felt like an escape into nature. Getting there was a breeze thanks to the detailed instructions provided by the host, which made the whole experience stress-free from the start. The house itself was cozy and very well equipped – everything we needed was right there, making it feel like a true home away from home. Jarle was exceptionally kind and attentive, always just a message away if I had a question. It is clear he and his wife genuinely care about their guests' comfort and experience. That said, the place does have a lived-in feel, so if you're looking for a more impersonal or hotel-like stay, this might not be the perfect fit. But if you appreciate character, comfort, and a sense of being welcomed into someone’s home, you’ll love it here. Overall, a truly memorable and relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

We loved our holiday adventure. Our hosts went out of their way for us, thank you for your local tips, and helpful communication. Their lovely home was clean, spacious, and has everything you need (and more) for a young family, including a great play area outside. Set in the most beautiful location, a perfect base to explore the incredible Norwegian area around Bergen. The mountains, rocks, greenery and water are so magnificent. Visiting Voss, having lunch on the top of the mountain by cable car and white water rafting in the afternoon. Rib ride into the Fjord at Flåm. Cruise to Modalen and trek up 'The Castle'. Helicopter flight over Folgefonna glacier are some of our highlights. Including recommended walks from the house and visiting local Golta. Everything was so incredible. Having such a lovely home to come back to each day, where everything is comfortable, accessible and just perfect, really made this holiday wonderful. We really didn't want to leave. Thank you.

Our stay was great. The house has an amazing view and it is perfectly clean. It has everything you need. The neighborhood is residential and very quiet. We were more than happy!

Only stayed 2 nights as a stopover during our return trip to the Netherlands. Fitjar itself and the area around the cabin is very nice. Nice that there was a boat with which we could go on the fjord. Cottage is fine with a nice terrace and the company of sheep.

This was an exceptional property we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to any of our friends family and acquaintances

We (2 adults, 2 children, one dog) stayed at the property for almost two weeks. We liked the house, especially the terrace and the direct location on the fjord. Christian was very nice and always responded quickly, thank you for that!

Therese’s apartment was very comfortable and well equipped for eating in or having a lazy morning at the apt. All our activities were within walking distance. We also enjoyed neighborhood restaurants and beautiful enjoying sunsets off the balcony. Therese was very responsive to any of our needs.

A unique view from living room and kitchen, could get the feeling of living on the sea. The apartment was stylish and lightly furnished. It is a bit of a touch of wear and tear, possibly many who do not treat the fixtures like their own. Slightly twisted access to parking space in the basement, you have to call the owner to get in, or park in the driveway and walk around to open. It got some grumpy with"park" who had to wait for me a few minutes :) However, Bjørn is the kindness itself so it didn't feel hard to call. Very nice area with nice running/footpath along the sea inwards towards the marina. Supermarkets rest Restaurant and Cafe in the immediate vicinity. I stayed here for 1 week and am very happy with my stay.

great place to stay if you want to visit mountains but also for hiking..super apartment with everything you need and the owners emanuel and carla are great!!

The apartment was great and really cozy, and the surrounding area is very quiet and beautiful. The host was amazing and responsive. I’m officially in love with Norway after our stay.

Great location, easy to walk around (few mins to airport train). Very confortable bed. All went well.

Highly recommend this apartment. We stayed here twice during our travels in Norway. Remy was the best host one could hope for - helpful, informative, friendly and kind. Thank you Remy! I would highly recommend the Italian restaurant on the corner of the same building - Amici Meia - one of the best italian meals we've had. Really recommend the chef's signature dish - the mushroom ravioli. Hard to beat anywhere!

The apartment is absolutely beautiful - very restful and homely, and with beautiful views. The kitchen is very well equipped and the place was spotlessly clean. Kirsten was very helpful and kind and looked after us well. Thank you for a lovely - if brief - stay!

Suzanne was very quick to respond to any communication sent to her which was reassuring. The apartment was easy to access. It was very clean and everything had been thought of to make our stay a relaxing one. Despite us arriving quite late Suzanne went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we needed and were aware of the logistics of the apartment. Lovely stay would highly recommend.

Beautiful stay in Bergen! Perfect place for our 2 couple group. We were there for the May 17th festivities which was a wonder to see! Heed the warnings of the hillside location - more than 400 feet of climbing in less than 1/2 a mile if you take the steep route. Definitely look at alternatives if that is not doable for you! Worth the views though and it was the perfect spot to see the fireworks. Great deck space to hang out on. Cathrine was a wonderful host!

We stayed at Tina's Place for 7 days and it was wonderful. The place was clean and well organised. We cooked almost every day and the kitchen had all we needed. The tram station is basically in front of the house, which made it very easy to get down to the city centre.
