Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Asakusa

I stayed 3 nights in Tomohito’s apartment with my wife and my daughter. I can confidently share that it was the best airbnb experience we had so far not because of the perfect location, beautiful and large apartment but also the friendly and supportive communication of the hosts. I really felt like we were staying in our apartment. No need to mention that the stairs might be a littlle bit challenging with heavy suitcases but all in all, I can not think of any other place to stay in Tokyo next time after this experience

想像以上に良かったです！子供が楽しめるのはもちろん、普段の生活では見られない子供の姿を見ることができ大人も楽しめました。近くにスーパーもありますし、地方からなら途中のサービスエリアで食べたいものを買って、キッチンで調理することもできるので、食事1つとっても一般的な旅行とは違う楽しみ方ができます。ホーリープラネットの中に入って見えるものはまさに宇宙に来たかのようで、経験したことの無い非日常感を味わうことができました。

Koji and Nami went above and beyond to accommodate us - especially as I had a bad knee, they were very flexible with making sure I was okay. They had great recommendations of where to eat and shop and were extremely responsive. The house was spotless and very comfortable in a convenient location. if i come back to tokyo, i will definitely stay here. Koji and Nami are sincere, genuine, and kind people. The perfect hosts.

Yaya house is Grade A for an Airbnb experience… super clean super convenient awesome host and you get the experience of living amongst the locals… extremely happy… thank you Yaya house ☺️ The house has everything you will need red and the train station, parking and 7/11 are super close. 5 Star Airbnb.

We had a wonderful stay! Great place to come home to after a long day of sightseeing. Great food, drink, convenient stores and sights nearby. This home has everything you will need! Even extra padding for the beds :)

We had a wonderful day. I would highly recommend this Airbnb. It was very clean. There are two sleeping spaces and a smaller little TV room upstairs with two toilets upstairs. Downstairs or on the main floor is the entrance with the kitchen a little sitting area the washer dryer, and the shower with another toilet. It was perfect for my husband and I and our three kids. The curtains in the bedrooms are not black out curtains, so just take that into consideration as it gets very light in Japan very early The kitchen was clean and well stocked. We made breakfast at the Airbnb every morning, which was very nice.

The K-Family Koji were probably the best AirBnB hosts we’ve ever had. Super clear instructions for everything. Extremely friendly and accessible. The place itself was fantastic. Had everything we needed for a family of six and was very comfortable.

일단 숙소가 너무 예뻤고.. 다다미 있는 숙소를 눈에 불을 켜고 찾아다녔는데 이 집이 일본 감성 대박이었어요. 시내에서 좀 떨어지긴 했지만 그래서 그런지 외국인들이 거의 없어서 오히려 새롭고 좋았어요~! 집주인분도 엄청 친절하십니다!

Fantastic stay in Asakusa! Comfortable apartment in a wonderful neighborhood with many options for sampling local cuisine and easily walkable to transportation. The hosts are very responsive and provide many area recommendations and informative travel guides for Greater Tokyo and beyond. The taxi was also a plus! Thank you for our most memorable stay in Tokyo!

The surrounding area was quiet and comfortable, with everything we needed conveniently nearby. The apartment was very well-equipped, and we were especially happy with the bathroom and toilet .We truly appreciated how clean and well-maintained everything was. The host was thoughtful and organized, and we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at this place. It was clean and very accessible. Manami was really proactive and helpful. She reached out before my arrival with detailed check-in instructions, local tips, and were always quick to respond to any questions. The location is great — just a short walk from the bus stops and train station. Whether you’re here for sightseeing or simply looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay, I’ll recommend this place.

We like staying near Oshiage station when visiting Tokyo. This place was perfect for our needs! Can’t wait to come back!

다음에 또 묵고싶어요! 친구랑 둘 다 캐리어를 펼치고도 남을만큼 넓었어요! 오래된 느낌이라는 다른 후기들이 있었는데 저는 이 또한 오히려 앤틱한 매력이었고 청결도가 좋아서 전혀 문제되지 않았습니다! 도쿄 처음이었는데 덕분에 잘 즐기고 갑니다~

We had a lovely week at Rie’s place ! The flat is very nice and you will have all you need for your stay. If I had to say something (but it’s very personal) we are used to have a king size bed, and the bed was a little too small for us but don’t worry it’s without hesitation for 2 persons ! You will be close to Asakusa by walk, and you have few nice restaurants as well around the flat. The place is very quiet and it was super nice after long day outside !

Sho's flat is a perfectly located room in a neighbourhood which is fun to explore - tons to do, all within walking distance. The nearby temples/shrines are sublime. Take Sho's excellent food recommendations - all of which turned out to be exceptional; recommended walk to the gym/pool also great. (Within blocks, there is a restaurant-filled quarter - incredible variety.) The walks themselves are scenic, and the location convenient to virtually all of Tokyo. Sho was always kind, helpful and responsive. The room is a great place to crash...do bring earplugs, though, as you are at the mercy of the guests upstairs (who may not walk on tiptoe.) The character of the small room is that of a simple hotel - it is not very personal or apartment-like. The bathroom is comfortable, clean and functions well. Although the check-in process sounded quite elaborate, it ended up being easy. Choose this place for the location and exploring ...and for a good night's sleep, as the room is small and simple.

Great place to stay. Very convenient with lots to do and train stations very easily accessible. Helpful host and nice hotel with even a balcony.

This place was perfect for our family of five. it's super close to many attractions and restaurants and trains were easy to get to. We absolutely loved the area. the place was clean and met our needs. We had elderly parents with us as well as our 9 year old and we all agreed that we were sad to leave this gem in Asakusa. Highly recommend!

My husband and I, along with our 9 year old son, traveled to Japan for the first time and had the best stay at Andy’s inn. He was very responsive, the place was not huge but was big enough to fit our needs. The beds were comfortable, clean, there was heating and air conditioning, microwave and fridge. There is a washer but no dryer, which wasn’t a problem bc we just hung our clothes outside the patio to dry. The train station and 7-11 is only a couple minutes away. We walked to Shinjuku within 20 minutes. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay near the action but still have peace and quiet!

Hatago Ojima’s space was great! Very clean and cute. The WiFi was a bit spotty when I first arrived, but it was addressed fairly quickly. It is about a 5-7 minute walk from the subway station so it is very easy to get around. I would definitely stay again.

This stay was perfect! Comfortable beds, great space, kitchen with everything you would need for a few nights stay. The area was very walkable and quiet with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The station was also very close, which was great for getting around Tokyo quickly! Would definitely stay hear again.

We stayed at June's small studio apartment for the last couple nights of our vacation. It was cozy, and the perfect place for just a couple nights. The area is fairly quiet & it's a short walk to Ueno park, from where you can easily access the rest of Tokyo. We were able to drop off our luggage & check in early, which was great as we had accumulated quite a lot of souvenirs on the trip!
